Both of which I doubt. Clearly the Onobi who shone like a million stars in the Swaziland game turned out to be out of form- I could hardly remember an interception or tackle. Same goes for Adeniji- perhaps their labours during the season for Sunshine Stars took its toll.

Wasn't it Courtney Dike who refused to collect money after playing for Nigeria because she said the honour alone is sufficient payment? I'm not saying you shouldn't be paid- I'm only saying no amount of money anyone gives another should equate wearing the colors of the country. Of course football today is all about the money but the cost is, the honour of it all is gone. This team and indeed our League is capable of a better showing and this team is also capable of lot better than a group stage exit. This is not just disappointing but painful too
