The Jos riot of 1945 was politically motivated it had nothing to do with a burnt Mosque/church. Moreso, Nigeria was still under colonial rule then. I am Nupe. We are sandwiched between the Yoruba and Hausa in Kwara and Niger state respectively. Yoruba people use to refer to us as Tapa. If you go to Lagos or Ogun state there is a masqurade called Igunnuko. Our fathers were the one that gave the Yorubas that masqurade. We share cultural and historical ties.
