Romance / Re: Why You Should Not Live In A 3 Bedroom Flat! by guiltless(m): 5:30pm On Nov 13, 2023
LoveUdie:

Some singles ask me, "Ma, what is the least apartment we can live in as a newly married couple?"

A room apartment.

Preferably, a room self contained where you have your own toilet and kitchen.

Newly married couples should start small and grow big. Living in a room gives you the opportunity to grow and adapt together. Living in multiple room apartment gives opportunity to grow in malice, pride and the refusal to adapt to each other.

For instance, if husband is offended, there is a tendency to enter one of the rooms, lock the door and punish his wife with silence, bitterness, refusal to have sex till she "comes to her senses" and beg!

There is a tendency for wifey to do same. But when it is only one room with no where to run to, you will have to apologise, forgive and learn to adapt to each other.

When you know you are sharing same bed and her body keeps disturbing your peace of mind, you will apologise fast and face the night's business with multiple"Thank you" on top!

Visitors too won't prolong their stay when they know there is no where to sleep.

A room and parlour self contained also does same wonder! You have no where to run to! You can't lock your spouse out of the room or out of the sitting room!

When you have learnt to adapt to each other and your family begins to grow, you can then graduate to 2 bedroom flat, 3 bedroom flat, a duplex or more.

This is not a rule though. Don't build your life on it. You can live in as many rooms as you choose as long as you are mature, understand each other and won't use it to create separation or problems in your marriage.

I hope this post is clear enough to......https://www.gistreal.ng/?m=1

Hello,
Exactly in that order. She should visit the Admission Office first, then take the next action after. If she has been cleared, she should wait for the mobilization list. If she has not been cleared, she would need to go to the State JAMB Office close to her school.

Thanks alot Boss

SamuelLoch:

Your story sounds a little different because you made the switch in your 2nd year, but it still matches the condition of people who changed in the first year.

The purpose of JAMB regularization is to ensure that JAMB have your current admission detail that tally with admission/registration record in the school that offered you admission.

In your case, your present course of study does not match the course program on your admission letter. Hence, your case meets one of the reasons for JAMB Regularization - CHANGE OF ADMISSION LETTER.

Change of Admission Letter - Those with JAMB Reg Nos
These are Candidates who gain admission with jamb registration number, but the Admission letter carry a different course or institution name from the school that gave them admission

On the flip side, you said you're on the matriculation list. Some of my course mates, changed courses after year 1 (though within same Faculty) and never had to do Regularization, because my school rectified the issue.

My verdict:
Normally, you need to do JAMB regularization, but your school might rectify your change of course because you had your matriculation on campus doing the course that JAMB offered you.
Visit your school Admission Office to know if you're cleared.

Good day Samuel Loch. Similar scenario happened to a friend of mine. She was given a course in the school of arts during her ND1 but switched to another department in the school of business where she matriculated, finished ND and also completed her HND. But her jamb admission status still carries the first department in the school of arts.

The question now is, would there be any need for jamb regularization or she should just visit her school admission office to know if she has been cleared, then subsequently check her name on the nysc mobilization list? Thank you

UNN was my dream school o.... How is Medicine in UNN? Is it Fail and Go like in Uniuyo?

Haha ... It's not exactly like that bro. Medical schools generally have this rate limiting step in every 1st professional exam, same goes for UNN. But after that exam, the likelihood of 'fail and go' is very slim. Let's chat more on WhatsApp Bro cheesy

There are many States with high population of Nigerians/ Africans/ Blacks in general. Examples: Maryland, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Washington DC (Not a State, but capital territory), Virginia, California, Georgia, etc. You can go online and research each State and the cities with lots of Blacks.

Superb! Thanks a whole lot Sir

Life in the USA can be very rewarding if you have your papers and get employment in an area with good / high demand. USA is definitely better than the UK from my own experience, especially if you are in the medical field. Yes, racism is rampant in the USA, as well as in Europe and other countries. But don't allow racism to discourage you, as you can live in the city/ town with reasonable percentage of Blacks and other ethnic minorities. You will feel very much at home living in the area with a lot of Nigerians.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the response Sir. If I may ask pls, like which areas in the United States do we have alot of Nigerians there? So one does not get homesick so long so can still see your fellow country men there. I'll love to plan towards such a place

USA is the best country to relocate to for Nigerians if that's part of your plan. But it is better to be well informed about the life here, the system and the expectations.....the most important thing would be getting your legal papers. Once you have crossed that bridge, the possibilities and opportunities will be abundant as long as you are ready to work hard.
I don't expect most Nigerians to take the path I took to come over to the USA as everyone may be on different situations in life. Don't let anyone discourage you to take the right steps to make the move.
I have lived in the UK for several years before moving to the USA with my family and I had work authorization and job waiting for me before I even landed. USA is a great place to achieve your dreams. But doing it right is critical to your success here.

Wow! Nice one Sir! I kindly want to ask pls, how's life over there in the USA compared with the UK for someone in the medical field?
Also, in regards to "racism", is it that rampant over there as the media portraits it?

Sadly, he had been frustrated out of the police force due to his honest disposition. They had kept him unpromoted for so Long that he resigned.

He is retired, so no good. There was no Way I will be dragging him into this. It was still too early to call our Onitsha installation centre. And I needed to have a hang on the situation before calling anyone.

First call. A Close Associate there in anambra, he works in the financial system, this avails him the opportunity to meet a lot of people, and trusted sources in the police force, there in anambra to save the day.

Hello good morning. Good morning Bro he said. His voice still had some drowsiness to it, he should be getting ready for work, so i thought. The time was a little pass 7:15am. I wasn't going to be asking him why he was still on bed by this time on a Monday morning.

See, listen to me. There is major problem I need to fix right now, one of our clients vehicle has just been hijacked at gun point there in anambra, someone called me to report but I think he is one of the thieves too. So I don't know of you know any trusted police officer or any of your colleagues does, that could help out. I have a google link location of where the vehicle his.

What! My barrage of words must have hit in ways that made all the soporific countenance he had before vanish. I will like you to repeat what you just natarated he muttered. The drowsiness in his voice had disappeared, I could feel him sitting up on his bed with a concerned look.

Do you have have a trusted police officer in Anambra, there in Ukulobia to be precise. I think the criminals that hijacked the vehicle are the once contacting me, and I have given information enough for them to know someone else knows where they are.

Omor, he replied. Really this mess na real omormor situation. Let me check and see, if I could reach anyone. And today is sit at home.

Kai. Monday Ipob sit home, no movements. No wonder he was still sleeping by 7:15am, Which kind wahala be this. I will call you back.

Meanwhile My itel phone is ringing again. The same caller I wish had never had my details his calling. It is about time I picked his call and hear what he has to say!

I wouldn't be ignoring the call this time, maybe I could work on the psych of whoever this criminals are. I have watched enough detective movies and read enough John Grisham books to pull a trick.

Yeah hello!

To be continued.........

I'm still feeling you boss... This is getting more interesting. Ride on please! #Chilling_with_my_cocacola&popcorn. cool
