Hitler was a mad man, there was no justification for what he did. In Nigeria, I have seen people insult people from other tribes with animal names like Cows(Fulani), Vultures (Yoruba), Pigs (Igbo) even here on nairaland. So are u saying we will be justified if we decide to go on a killing spree of one another to avenge the insults we receive from other tribes in Nigeria?

Funny thing is that the Scriptures predicted it would happen i.e that he(Jesus) would come to his own people and they won't accept him. However we are in a secular world where we have freedom of worship and everyone is free to belong to whichever faith he or she wants so to each his own

I am conversant with the works of charity organizations or NGO's in Nigeria and I can assure you that the church is perhaps the biggest contributor to charity and philanthropy in Nigeria. I personally know a whole lot of church based NGO's that are dedicated to catering for the weak and needy in the society e.g CADAM, MRDC, Christian Aid, heritage homes, Edensfield health initiative, RAPAC, POD- ECWA, Awesome Treasures Foundation, caritas Nigeria, Catholic relief services (CRS), house of mercy homes, Daughters of charity Agege e.t.c they are too numerous to be listed here. listen, I have seen first hand the tremendous impact these churches are having on the less privileged and disadvantaged people the society. That's why I always shake my head when people sit in the comfort of their homes and criticicize churches or say they are of no importance to the society. Believe me, if churches were to cease to exist in Nigeria right now, we will be having a monumental crises on our hands within a matter of hours
