JuanDeDios:
Are you sure about this?

Ezekiel 44:30
Verse Concepts
The first of all the first fruits of every kind and every contribution of every kind, from all your contributions, shall be for the priests; you shall also give to the priest the first of your dough to cause a blessing to rest on your house.

Also read 1 Cor 15:20.

Bible God sanctioned first fruits here. It's as clear as night and day. So how can you say giving my first fruit is a Pagan endeavour not sanctioned by God?
That's an old testament law given to the Jews you quoted in ezekiel. The one you quoted in the new testament 1 Cor 15:20 has absolutely nothing to do with giving your first salary or earnings to any pastor or church and is not in any way related to the law made for the Jews in Ezekiel. The plain text is clear enough in itself,

"For just as in Adam all die, so too in Christ shall all be brought to life, but each one in proper order; Christ the firstfruits; then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ; then comes the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet."

1 Corinthians 15:20-28

How does this text have anything to do with giving your first salary or earnings to anyone?

Turkey wants to be part of NATO alliance and I believe they'll want to be handy at this moment.

My opinion.
Impossible in my opinion, Turkey is already a member of NATO and any such attempts could lead to a full blown confrontation between NATO and Russia which NATO doesn't want at the moment.

God never force anything on anybody, even to accept Jesus Christ as ur Lord nd saviour is a choice.

First fruit is a law giving by God which the death of Jesus Christ cannot invalidate. It is impossible for Jesus Christ to invalidate first fruit.

Prov 3 Vs 9-10
Says honour the Lord with ur substance nd with the first fruit of thy increase... So shall ur banes be filled with plenty...

It's a choice to obey or not to. If u choose to serve God then u must obey his commandments.

First fruit is a seed.
Gen 8 Vs 22 already said as long as the earth remains, seedtime nd harvest shall not cease.
So if you believe that the death of Jesus didn't invalidate the law, are you telling me that you keep all old testament laws in your life today? If the death of Jesus invalidate other laws, why is it impossible for the same death to invalidate the law of first fruits? Why will the death of Jesus makes us free from the law but once it has to do with collecting money from people then the death of Jesus can't invalidate it again?

First fruits is to be given to God not to your father. Giving of a thing is spiritual. God said it is an hallow thing. You don't give it to mother or father. It is called a first fruit offering. Offerings are offered to deity and your parents are not deity. Prov 3:9-10, Rom 11:16. It is not a Jewish thing alone it is for the church. Jesus was refer to as a first fruit. The Church is called the first fruit of God. You are first fruit to God and when God bless you you should offer to God your first fruit. First fruit is more of an honour, sacrifice, worship to God. When you give to God you honour him.
Can you please show any place where christians were required to pay first fruits? Or show any place where the apostles or the early christians in the Bible paid first fruits. You're saying Jesus was referred to as the first fruit and the church was also referred to as the first fruit but did the bible ever say we should now start bringing our first salary or earnings because we are his first fruit? Let's stop imposing jewish laws on christians just to force them to give. The first fruit was a law giving to Jews just like tithes and sin offering and so on. There's no where it was given or mandated for christians to still be under such laws.

With your statement you shouldn't even give an offering or do Thanksgiving or any other giving to God since you are been blessed by God and since you are a Christian. NKJV, Proverbs 3:9
Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
NKJV, Proverbs 3:10
So your barns will be filled with plenty,
And your vats will overflow with new wine.

NKJV, Romans 11:16
For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

It is what God want us to do to sanctify our wealth.
I don't condemn giving, I am just saying if you want to give, let it be out of love and free will not because someone told you it's mandated by one archaic old testament law or because you want to get something from God in return as if you're paying God to bless you. God gave you his own son freely so why do you think you need to pay him before he blesses you with other things? He has giving us all blessings in Christ so if we give, we give out of free will and a heart of gratitude not because we are scared that if we don't pay some imposed "tax" then God won't bless us.

Christianity EtcRe: Can First Fruit Offering Get God's Reward,if Given To A Biological Father? by Gullah: 9:16pm On Feb 26, 2022
To be sincere, what you call first fruit offering is no longer of any spiritual significance. God has blessed you already if you are his son and received Jesus into your life. He has given you all blessings you need in Christ so you shouldn't be giving because of what you will get in return. That's why you are worried about who or where to give, because you think God gives you in return for what you give him in monetary value. The first fruit was a law instituted for the Jews in the old testament and it was never at anytime carried over or transferred to christians so stop giving yourself headache over it.

Many popes have even been recorded in history to engage in all manner of abominable acts like adultery and murders. If the Catholic Church is one and the same with christ then how did all these evil find their way into it? Can christ be corrupted? 2. Like I said, Your churches each have their own doctrines and traditions of men which they abide by, and so yes,if you switch churches, the new business might require that you get a new baptism. undecided

Again, stop assuming because they read scriptures means they all abide by scriptural definitions of things. Your churches are each built on doctrines and traditions of men which are lies where the Truth of God is concerned and so these businesses are well within their rights to mandate rules as they please. undecided
You are talking nonsense mr man. Baptism is Christ's ordinance not man's. Once you do it in a scripturally instructed manner, you don't need to do it again even if you change church 100 times. Human institutions have no power to declare God's ordinance invalid.

If you understand the power of rituals and rites you will also understand the power of words, contexts and the speaker of such rites.

There's a reason why some words are still used till date in performing some rites.

I can't see you with a woman and marry you off even if I quote 10,000 verses from the Bible. It is null and void till the proper person does it, in the right context, with the right words.
Human rites and rituals are subject to the word of God. If something is done according to God's word, no human rites or ritual can annul it. Even the example you gave shows how much brainwashed we have become about the power of the earthly church. Scripturally, You don't need the priest to get married. It's the parents that give their daughters hands out in marriage traditionally and once you have fulfilled all the traditional requirements, you can go and legally marry your wife in court and do whatever ceremony you want to do to celebrate it. There's no where in the Bible that it says your marriage is not valid unless it's blessed by a priest.

2. Your churches each have their own doctrines and traditions which they abide by, and so yes,if you switch churches, the new business might require that you get a new baptism. undecided

3. The story didn't tell you that the scriptural definition of Baptisms is the standard used in the Catholic organization. You assumed that in error. undecided

4. God never said that! Again, you assume that. Contrary to your claim, Jesus Christ warned that those who abide by the doctrines and traditions of men, what He declared were nothing but lies where the Truth of God is concerned, render meaningless their worship of God and nullify the Power of His Word by their decision. - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13. Basically what Jesus Christ taught is that even the baptisms done according to the doctrines and traditions of men is meaningless and the Power of God void in such practices. undecided
If your number one point is true then that means every baptism done in the catholic church is invalid because if it's not done according to what was taught by Christ in the scriptures then it's invalid.
2. Your number two point is complete nonsense. Baptism is done once and so long as it is done according to scriptures, it's valid. If you decide to go and be doing it multiple times, that is your own human decision. Christ never instructed anyone to do baptism twice. The only reason why you should do baptism again is if the first one you did was unscriptural.

And what did the bible say?
You are uninformed and simple research will help you. All the main line churches Catholic Church, Anglican, Methodist, Episcopalian, Lutheran etc use the right formula which is "I " baptise you in name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Who is the We... When you are the person doing the baptism
Mr informed, can you show me anywhere in the Bible that we were told that we must say I instead of we? The "we" is the body of Christ, the church which you are being baptized into. You people should not start elevating human inventions over the word of God. If God is okay with it, who are you to say it's not valid?

The catholic baptisms are also as defined by catholic law, not as defined in scripture as you assume. So like everything else, the church has authority to annul catholic Baptisms not carried out according to catholic Law. undecided
You are just putting the cart before the horse. Who ordained baptism? Was it Christ or the catholic church? Every church has their own way of doing it which is different and so long as they follow the scriptural instructions, they are valid. It doesn't matter what anyone says. Are you telling me that if I am baptised in a church according to scriptural instructions then I relocate to another place and maybe the new church I attend do it differently then I have to be baptized again? The story didn't say the baptism wasn't done according to the scriptures, it says the priests didn't say I instead of we. That's not a disqualifier in the eyes of God, the Bible didn't say anywhere that you must say we instead of I. God has recognized that baptism and it is valid whether the human denomination accepts it or not. The recipient of such baptism don't have to do another one. The only thing that can render a baptism illegal is if it wasn't done according to the scriptures.

Actually, the church indeed does have the power since the live off their own doctrines and traditions, and so have authority to penalize anyone who does not conform to their business rules as far as their ideas are concerned. undecided
They have a right to penalize any of their priests or members who err from their laws but they don't have the power to declare anyone's baptism illegal. Baptism is a spiritual ordinance by Jesus Himself, it's not man that decides which one is valid or not, it's God as revealed in His word. Once it's done according to scriptural instructions, the baptism is valid. it doesn't matter whether you confirm to your church directive on the words to use or how to do it. The church can then only penalize whoever did it for not adhering to their own method of doing it but that doesn't render the baptism illegal. The recipient of such baptism don't have to do another baptism.

On this your number 10, the faith wasn't there in the first place!
Your comment doesn't add up, if the faith wasn't there then why did Jesus say they would turn away from the faith? The faith had to be there for them to later turn away from it. These are people who were christians whether nominal or spiritual just like the people the op is asking about who will start turning away from the faith in the last days. Jesus said it would happen so the point here is that christians shouldn't be bothered about it when it happens just like Jesus said it would. Rather, they should be more concerned about being among those that remain steadfast to the end and are saved.

These things shouldn't come as a surprise to the Bible studying christian, the Bible prophesied about these things a thousands of years ago. Check out Matthew chapter 24: 3-13.

3. As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4. Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.

5. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

6. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

7. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

10. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

11. and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

12. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

In Matthew 5:17, Jesus said:
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.
Jesus didn't come to abolish the law, he came to fulfill them or accomplish them like your version said. Why? Because no man could keep the laws of Moses. If God really decided to judge people by that law then no man will be saved. The bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and another verse says he that says he has no sin is a liar and God's word is not in him. That's why Jesus came, the perfect son of God full of grace and truth. He lived a perfect life, not falling foul of any of the law and thereby accomplishing there purpose. Now Jesus was supposed to be rewarded with Life and blessings for being perfect before the law and men were supposed to condemned with death having not kept the law but jesus did an exchange, taking our punishment of death upon himself and giving his justification and reward of life to all who believe in his name. Jesus has fulfilled the law in his life and death so you don't need to fulfill it anymore, all you need to do is believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

Children don't bear the sins of their fathers. Stop putting too much importance to many of those mosaic laws given to the Jews. Jesus is the new Convenant and people are only judged by what they decide to do with Jesus.

"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." JOHN 3:18.

Your relationship with Jesus is all that matters.
