‎Federal Govt Deploys Soldiers For Edo Gubernatorial Election

http://m.thenigerianvoice.com/mobile/94476/1/falana-deployment-of-soldiers-for-edo-election-unc.html

it would be recalled that the military authorities had early in the week reportedly deployed no fewer than 3,500 armed soldiers for the state governorship election.

‎my question is ,did Jonathan use the military to rig the election in Edo state in favour of his party the PDP?

The following post will tell you,

‎Oshiomhole wins Edo governorship election - www.channelstv.com

Did ACN (APC) complain about the deployment of soldiers after they won the election? The answer is no.

Here is Tinubu's reaction;

‎ACN, ANPP, Tinubu hail Oshiomhole's victory

TV/Movies › Re: You’ll Soon Have To Pay To Watch ‘free’ TV At Home- FG by gunuvi(m): 7:14pm On Jul 05, 2014
Obiagelli: Here’s the news in brief: Nigerians who own
television sets will soon have to pay
“annual content access fee” to improve
content and infrastructure of the country’s
broadcasting stations.
The fee is similar to the TV licence paid in
the UK ─ which is used to fund the British
Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
As a result, the BBC does not accept
advertisements in the UK because it is
financed with tax payers’ money.
Government-owned broadcast stations in
Nigeria run on subventions as well as
advertising revenue.
Nigeria currently operates a radio licence
regime which is considered ineffective.
However, the federal government said it
would introduce “content access fee” to
replace radio licence fee ahead of
Nigeria’s migration to digital terrestrial
television broadcasting by 2015.
Information minister Labaran Maku made
this known at the opening of the extra
ordinary meeting of the National Council of
Information (NCI) in Abuja.
Maku said the planned content access fee,
which was currently undergoing final
adjustments, was expected to get the nod
of the federal executive council before the
migration.
He said that government and other
stakeholders would leverage on the new
technology to make the new format more
effective than the archaic radio licence
fees format.
Maku explained: “For a long time radio
licences have not been collected and in
other countries the public broadcast
services are run from fees collected on
broadcast content.
“But unfortunately in our country, the
existing constitutional provision has made
fee collection less effective.
“Now, we are undertaking a new format.
We are taking advantage of the digital
technology and looking beyond sending
people to go from place to place to collect
fees for broadcast content.”
According to him, under this new regime,
anyone seeking access to television content
has to pay an annual content access fee.
The minister outlined some of the
advantages of the new broadcast content
fee collection regime to include improved
financial capability for stakeholders “to
improve content and upgrade
infrastructure”.
He said this would help the Nigeria
Broadcasting Commission and other
stakeholders have access to adequate
funds for sustained upgrade of their
infrastructure for effective service delivery.
On the NCI meeting, Maku said Nigeria
was at crossroads to either transit
smoothly or risk being cut-off from the rest
of the world by June 2015 when the global
migration deadline takes effect.
Again 99.9% of the posters above are ibos! All the negative posters are 99.99% ibos yet Tinubu was never a governor in Iboland! You never laid a dime of your ibo taxes to him, but guess who is crying the most? Ibos! This shows that ibos are cursed with mega problems. The remaining ones have been bought with money to keep cursing out their fathers and generations by pointing to another man when their entire generations will never have 0.1 Tinubu! Check what losers! PDP is paying money to ibos to come online and lay the groundwork for the hatred that will be an excuse for their next massacre, all for N 5 per post per day? Tinubu meanwhile rides on like a colossus, imagine his many people he will need to employ to manage the consat TV company? There will be many indigent ibos who will be crawling on their flat chest and scrawny appendages writing "I beg to apply letters" and he will still pity them and give them a small job or contract so that starvation does not unleash another epidemic on ibos.

To ibos, they'd rather have DSTV or some foreign company colonize Nigeria because they are slaves of money and lazy bastards! Well Tinubu may you live long and fulfill the best plans God will have you fulfil. May you leave 1000 Yorubas who will be in the mould of Chief Awolowo with the grit of Tinubu to survive modern day Nigeria! May your enemies never amount to anything in this life, all ibos who hate you shall be your slaves and slaves of your own people! Ibos say amen! Like their leader died a failed man and politician, so win they also die and wither but may it be worse for them for they shall see water and good in this same Nigeria but will not be able to get a drop to cool their dry, hot and parched tongues! Amen.
but why the insult on ibos over pettiness discussion on nl that won't even affect Tinubu. I am very sure you lacked good upbringing. shm
