Are you saying you choose iui+surrogate cos of higher chances ? The concern I have with IVF is the low success rate and the fact the money is gone.
With surrogate, you are just paying for the iui until the pregnancy is confirmed then you can now pay for the surrogate so you ain't loosing much plus IUI with a lady without any underlying condition has a higher chance than ivf... |

Toch19977: Surrogacy would never have a 95% odd . There are too many variable per cycle ... For a perfectly normal male and female, theres only a 20-40% chance of pregnancy per cycle. I will pick IVF over iui all day I am not sure we both understand each other. I am saying surrogacy + IUI. IUI chance is as high as 95% if the surrogate does not have any underlying condition and the sperm is good. In this case the surrogate is using her own eggs so it's just like having sex but without penetration. |

Hi everyone, I need some sound advice. For a family with limited resources, which would you advise with the below conditions...
1. IVF with success rate of 50% Or 2. IUI with surrogate with a success rate of 95% (Since surrogate does not have any underlying issues and sperm is okay. )
Both would cost almost the same amount. |

Mamaejima4: Don't do as she said, consult a good fertility center first. Some of the center where they run the HSg can cause more damage than good. Be guide by a good fertility center. Don't rush things depending on her age she supposed to enjoy sex for a yr before any test. HSg is not bread and butter. Before they cause her more problems Thank you so much for your input. I completely agree with you on being careful with naija clinics and invasive procedures. We understand 1 year is the limit set before exploring fertility options but in our case, we already know she has an underlying condition from the pelvic scan results so that's why we don't want to wait for 1 year. I am also a little concerned about the hsg procedure and its attendant risk especially the risk of infection. |

Blendy77: She may not need ivf even with pcos. Try hsg tests as advised, once its confirmed her tubes are open try that local iui recipe i posted. Its just timed intercourse with ovulation monitoring. Better still just get her pregnacare conception to augment her ovulation for 2months if nothing then try d iui at home. Tell her to relax. Anxiety n pregnancy are never friends. Thank God she married a learned man. All the best Thank you for your suggestions. |

This issues of crying each time she see her period is what break a man most.. but she will be fine...nd she will conceive..don't lose hope... Let her do HSG first... My wife did it and it happens that her tube is blocked.. right now, shix carrying a baby in her womb. Thank you sir and God bless. |

SMGAHC: U are on the right track, but first of all visit a fertility clinic, the fertility specialist will help u make decision on the best ART for you and your wife. To add to this, have she done HSG, since she is ovulating and your SFA is good, there are great chances of pregnancy to occur, unless HSG shows her tubes are blocked . Thank you for your input, we will do as you advised. |

Hi everyone, my wife has pcos we already knew before we went on with the marriage as scan showed ovary with string of petals shape and some small fibroid but I loved her so we went ahead with the marriage, by the way I married her a virgin so trying for pregnancy before marriage was not a choice.
Back then the progesterone test showed that she was ovulating (16.1ng/ml) and her period is regular as well 27 -30 days cycle. Although it seems she has insulin resistance which makes her tired sometimes.
We are 6 months now in marriage and pregnancy has not happened. I have already made provisions and savings for ivf if it comes to that. My wife has been down and she is always sad anytime she sees her period this past 6 months but I have been encouraging her.
I am now thinking of suggesting the fertility clinic option to her with the aim of going the ivf route if after another 6 months with the hospital nothing changes.
I just want to speak to experienced people if I am making the right choice and what can you advise/suggest.
By the way, my own sperm analysis returns good with total motility more than 70% and sperm count above average.
Thanks for your time. |

Bobomaigida: Please always check their website for current updates, as at today they have closed their offices indefinitely. No need to travel and meet their offices closed. Thank you. So it means I should raise a web form explaining why I cant meet up with the 30 day deadline for biometrics right ? |

Sholzyy: Good morning all
I want your help on how to upload my documents correctly.
1. The passport section- do I attach all my passport biodata pages together before uploading (I have visas on them all)
2. Invitation letter section: Should I attach all inviters documents with the letter before uploading? I.e ID, Employement letter , data page, etc
3. Proof of Financial section: Should I attached my statement of accounts, reference letters together with letter of explanation of my accounts? Or just my statement of accounts and reference letters?
4. Client section: Should all other documents like my employment documents, letter of explanation of my accounts, letter of explanations on my previous visa denials, property, marriage certificate etc be attached together and uploaded there?
Una thank you o🙏🏽 I just applied for a visitor Visa too and will be doing biometrics next week. I did it myself and paid 185cad but the interface I got was quite different from yours. Infact I didn't have to fill any IMM form unlike what you have there. Why was mine different ? I am worried. |

Please what time should be best to come over on any of these three dates. Please save a soul as dates are 7/8/9. Thanks Hello brother, do you mean vfs called you ?
