Don't play with the Russian bear
Russia is not Nigeria that you British messed up by scheming power to the Fulanis who make up only 6% of the populationcheesy

Politics › Re: IPOB Is Worse Than Criminal Herdsmen - Gumi by Guyman02:
Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB makes money for Nairaland, Yorubas actually needed someone like Nnamdi Kanu, that's why they are doing everything to promote Sunday Igboho.
cheesy
Politics › Re: IPOB Is Worse Than Criminal Herdsmen - Gumi by Guyman02:
Do you know that Fulanis are only 6% of Nigerian population and they hold more than 50% of political appointments at Federal level.

They are the Emirs of the Hausa and Nupe tribes who are 35% of Nigeria population and Emir of a major Yoruba garrison city of Ilorin?

The only group that the Fulanis have little respect in Nigeria are the Igbos, even Sardauna was so scared that he said he would rather employ an expatriate than an Igbo who will become boss over his people.
Many tribes in Nigeria have realised that they have not been overrun because of the sacrifices of the stubborn Igbos and are now afraid that if the Igbos leave Nigeria they would be more vulnerable.

Why do we have the sudden clamour by Fulani elders that Buhari should allow Igbos to leave Nigeria? Because it's very obvious that they can never succeed in their plans as long as Igbos are part of Nigeria.

Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB made so much noise about RUGA that Nigerians realised the scheme by the Buhari led Fulani cabal to use it to resettle his cousins from other countries.

Even Seun Osewa makes plenty money from traffic on Nairaland daily just by posting stories about Nnamdi Kanu which usually gets to page 20.
Believe me that guy MNK is an enigma whether you like or hate him, a guy who persuaded the entire South East to shutdown on 31 May and there was maximum compliance even the FG with all its might can't achieve that, even before I finished typing this we are already on page 4 here cheesy

Buhari called them "DOT" but instead of getting angry they saw it as a business opportunity to make money by printing and selling thousands of T-shirts with the theme dot, even some non Igbos are buying their Dot T-shirts and a serving Senator has to even model it as pictured below in Biafra colours grin

Nnamdi Azikwe did the same and even much more than buhari when he was ruling. He nepotism was A1..
Nnamdi Azikiwe did not hold executive powers, Tafawa Balewa was responsible for appointing the cabinet, Azikiwe was more of a ceremonial President, this is why History needs to be taught in schools.

In reality I would have preferred that Yoruba Nation flag be hoisted not as a secessionist move but as a pointer to the Yoruba entrepreneural and creative spirit which we have seen achieved greatly in the diaspora.

My dear, I'm sure you must have seen posts about some of us regretting the act. That era of foolishness is gone because we are almost helpless now
It was an unfortunate and regrettable era and many people in Benue/Plateau still can't believe that they fought and killed their close neighbours on behalf of Fulanis angered by the killings of prominent northern politicians in what was fraudulently called "Igbo coup".
It shows the level that Fulanis can go with Taqqiya, it was manipulation that will never happen again.
Major Gideon Orkar was so pissed off by the civil war deception of the Tivs that he announced the excision of Fulani dominated states from Nigeria.

Tiv warriors ended the Jihad if Uthman Dan Fodio and it seems they have never been forgiven

The reason I support the Igbos with my whole heart is because I have been living with them and I know them very much. I married from them. Forget all those bragging things, it only happens on social media.
Successful Igbos are the most humble. The one thing I love about the igbos is that they don't like being intimidated or subdued or cheated. Forget it, they always have way to voice their dissatisfaction even after being silent for a while. They're the only stubborn tribe that is speaking for the rest of us.

For we Idomas, we are closer to them than the hausas/Tiv and would prefer to be in same country with them if Nigeria eventually breaks up
You are right, Idomas are very close relatives to the Igbos, the British tried to destroy that relationship by putting Idomas in the northern protectorate and alienating Idomas from their close Igbo neighbours and focusing on building a fake alliance with the Fulani in Sokoto.
The culture of Idoma and Igbo is basically the same, they even bear same surnames with Igbos in Enugu state and their first daughters called Ada have a lot of influence in their fathers house and have the same market days calendar.

If not for the British map and attempted indotrination by Fulani rulers in the North Idomas would be competing with Igbos in terms of business acumen like it was before the colonial masters arrived

" taking the bullets for all of us" is a nice use of imagery.
That RUGA rejection meant that the IPOB message had been nationally received.
That's why Buhari is focused on destroying them, meeting Nicodemusly with South South to block their access to the sea and putting them in an encycled dot. Kudos to the Igbos for taking the bullet to save minorities in Nigeria from domination.

Fulanis are only 6% of Nigerian population and they hold more than 50% of political appointments at federal level.

It's strange that the Police is not even investigating the mass murders by Bororo Fulani in the South West but will arrest and detain people who helped them to do their job and free the key suspect because nobody wants to be in the bad book of Fulani quota system superiors.
This is the after effects of nepotism

Hypocrisy is several groups in the 'core North' threatening Igbos daily and FG pretends it's not aware but one statement from Nnamdi Kanu in far away London and the president is reminding them about what their people went through during the civil war and threatening to repeat same.
Instead of calling them northern youths, we should rather call them Bororo Fulani youths

Unknown gunmen are led by security agents of the Federal government and most Nigerians think the same
Education › Re: NEKEDE Polytechic students were asked to Define Unknown Gun-Men by Guyman02:
Unknown gunmen are either political thugs or security agents sent to destroy facilities and kill citizens with the aim of giving Federal Govt the needed excuse to kill more citizens in an area under the guise of dealing with secessionists "in the language they understand" in places where they want to takeover the land to build Grazing areas that will later metamorphose into Emirates in future for the invaders from Futa Jalon or help politicians to destroy their opponents.

When ESN Commander Ikonso and some of his men werd killed in an attack by security agents in the South East we saw the Police and Army jubilating and parading their mutilated bodies including those of some innocent Igbos who had AK-47 placed on their bodies.

This week alone we have heard that several bandits and killer herdsmen have been killed and it keeps making FP here by biased Mods without pictures, rather we see old unrelated pictures used to back the deception called News reports.

A policeman killed several people in Enugu and till now we don't even know his name but today alone we have seen several Igbos paraded in Army uniforms wearing secret cult beret but still classified as ESN with their full names, nicknames, village of origin etc

Show us the picture with the ONE EYE in full focus or shove this story to the waste bin angry

“The President’s body language, high level of justice, unfair treatment to some sections of this country and lack of equity for all and marginalization are responsible for current tension in parts of the country, especially in south-east and south-west”.

According to the APC Chieftain, “We all know why there is tension in parts of the country but nobody wants to say the truth. Mr. President should change his body language because there is anger over certain actions and pronouncements by the President
The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth coming from a top party member cool

Anyone that Peter Obi recommends has his chances boosted by 50%.
That guy transformed Anambra state to having the best affordable public education system till date and overtaking South West in a few years in terms of mass performance in WAEC and NECO, as a result of which they are imposed with the highest cutoff marks in JAMB and admissions criteria.
Another thing I noticed when I visited that state is that they have the best and most extensive rural road network in Nigeria and the bad roads are mostly Federal roads like Onitsha to Enugu expressway

Politics › Re: Grazing Routes: FG Driving Nigeria To Anarchy - Gani Adams by Guyman02:
I pity Gani Adams, he warned Yorubas about Buhari but they were just too carried away by rhetorics from Tinubu and some accused him of collecting pipeline protection contract from GEJ and was thus working for his own personal interest, today the same people are expecting him to do magic and save Yorubaland from Futa Jalon invasion.
That's the mark of a true General (Aare Ona Kakanfo) who didn't want to make the same mistake as his predecessor Afonja (who sort for help from Alimi in his conflict with Alaafin but who ended up murdering him to become Emir of Ilorin) by spotting danger far ahead.

Unfortunately he still faces internal resistance from the likes of the one man but vocal group MURIC and the Ganja loving Emir of 'Iwostan' republic and others

Politics › Re: Zaria Residents Sacrifice 2 Rams While Praying Against Incessant Kidnapping by Guyman02:
People who were supposed to defend them were redeployed to the South East by Buhari to engage ESN which was formed to resist killer herdsmen, instead of sacrificing rams they should acquire AK 47 to defend themselves.

Another reality is that the people sacrificing rams here are Hausas communities while the bandits attacking them are from the ruling Fulani tribe who conquered them, one day the Hausas will open eyes and demand for freedom but for now they can't as Fulanis are fully in control of the security apparatus in Nigeria.

In the past these are the people who would go out and riot attacking Igbos and southerners but it seems they are wiser now, no more Fulani induced rioting by Hausas
