Justice delayed is justice denied, the defendant should not be put at the mercy of the judge going on private vacation when there are several judges being payed by the government under the federal high court. Not presenting the accused to court under the guise of logistics when DSS office is directly opposite the same Court is shameful for us as a nation. Now we can see why thousands of ordinary citizens are languishing in jail's because of logistics and judges not been available to hear their cases with series of adjournments. Even the process of bringing him to Nigeria from Kenya by extraordinary rendition is shameful for our acclaimed status as 'giant of Africa', why was it so difficult to lobby a smaller country like Kenya to sign extradition treaty with Nigeria and hand him over? I am looking at this issue beyond Nnamdi Kanu but as it relates to the ordinary Nigerian on the streets including us reading this. MANNABBQGRILS: Dead On Arrival.
Meanwhile.......
Stop being a nuisance on this forum, allow reasonable people to comment including those who can criticize MNK and Igboho constructively Many people don't read comments because of people like you who fill up the whole FP with repeated trash of colours, pictures, bold scripts etc |

Naijaibo: My wise ibo brothers, please let us not allow ipob and Kanu make us an enemy of the whole Nigeria. Kanu is a man, he is not above the law. Zuma an ex president, far powerful than Kanu is in jail, despite the protest. Let Kanu face his case, he ordered his boys to kill anyone not with ipob. Kanu is a murderer. Kanu have targeted ibo billionaires that are not funding or supporting him, he sent his boys to kill that man that was burnt alive, we know these things. Kanu should pay with his life, if government free Kanu, they will be no peace. Shame on ohaneze for supporting a killer, you all are cowards and have failed, we, Ibos are now a laughing stock, and some fools online will keep talking nonsense. Kanu ESN and ipob killed many Ibos. I live in the East, I know Ibos that have been killed by ipob for failing to support them. If we want biafra, not through Kanu, he is a mad animal. Sorry you didn't make any sense |

She killed the goose that was laying the golden eggs. It's a pity that she had a troubled childhood as the parents are separated and her father was not aware that she lived a double life at home and away. The law will take it's course except if the Ataga family doesn't want to pursue the matter but even at that the state will prosecute her.
Unfortunately, she is not from Northern Nigeria where murderers are spared and freed if they kill and term it as killing an infidel, the state will not pursue the matter like we saw in the murder of the woman in Kano and the Redeemed Pastor in Kubwa Abuja that even her fellow Pastor who is the Vice President could not even be bold enough to prosecute her killers. |

Politics › Re: $430 Million Enugu-Cameroon Highway To Be Ready Before End Of 2021- AfDB by Guyman02: 8:21am On Jun 25, 2021 |
PeaceJoyLove: Nairaland needs to find a way to get intellectual comments on front page as it is showing that most comments there are from people who know nothing.
First, AfDB is bank of Africa, so Nigeria is not responsible for financing it. It is a goodnews. I do not agree with Buhari, but on the issue of fixing Adesina as the president of the Bank.....this is the dividend. And Cameroun is benefiting from it too. Of course, instead of Ibos to be happy that it connects Enugu, read comments above. If AfDB had chosen Calabar to Bakassi to Cameroon what would they have done? Even if its a single lane, and so what? So, you expect AfDB to go build 10 lanes there? Not a major road oooo. But a new road just to connecting the two nations. If ecommerce is boosted as predicted, then, the road can be expanded. What if the prediction is not achieved? Na wa oooo. It is good to be educated. And going to school does not guarantee sound education with the comments on the front page these days.
The one I am angry about is the railway from Kano to Niger. That one is with Nigerian money. And Buhari is doing it cos of selfish interest. They want to network with Niger just in case Nigeria breaks, and they are borrowing money which Nigerians are responsible for. And guess what? Highway for bandits and terrorists created... That project, I am partially against it. I can only pray that the next president cancels the project no matter how far this administration has gone with the project. It must not be a burden on us. Niger needs to contribute too. And if Niger doesnt, the project should be killed. Except there is something good about the project I am presently not seeing I can have a positive attitude towards it. Maybe someone can educate me here.
But this one here is a goodnews. And again Buhari pushed Ngozi Iweala as Director General of WTO. I think maybe Buhari has good luck with having good brains around him. Even in 1983 to 85, Tunde Idiagbom was the brain behind almost everything. For Buhari to have pushed Adeshina ad AfDB number one, and Iweala as WTO number 1 is huge. This is the dividend. Even Iweala is moving trades toward Nigeria seriously.
Maybe Buhari is not lucky with brains around him....Perhaps, he is gifted in appointing them. Cos Jonathan failed to land the same Ngozi Okokjo-Iweala Ngozi rhe World Bank President in 2014. I forgeotz there is Amina Muhammed, the deputy secretary general of UN too - also appointed during Buhari's time. Can I say Jonathan is not lucky with the people he appointed? Or he is just not good with appointing good brains? Hmmmmm
Now, we need to also fix power. If Nigeria can fix power, that is it. We will get huge share of businesses (production) US moves to China. And we put security in place. I swear, Americans will set up manufacturing industries here. Labor is cheap here, so there is no need to invest in robotic technology for now. This is what rich nation wants.
Guys, as tough as it is, Nigeria has a huge opportunity here. I just pray we are able to make use of it.
Corruption is our own enemy. You made no much sense with this epistle, at what time did Igbos condemn the project, you displayed your bigotry while trying to sound like a nationalist. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Unity: President Buhari Commends Ijaw Leaders by Guyman02: 7:41pm On Jun 24, 2021*. Modified: 8:13pm On Jun 24, 2021 |
These are the people that he said told him that they will deny Igbos access to the sea if there is Biafra. They have forgotten that it took a lot of sacrifice and courage by Igbos led by Late Prof Dora Akunyili (God rest her soul) to make their son President when General Danbazau and the Cabal where running the country and pretending that terminally ill Yaradua was the person giving the orders.
Igbos have been paying a huge price under Buhari who denied them sensitive appointments and projects because they supported an Ijaw Jonathan against him whom the rest of the country called clueless.
Diette Spiff as military administrator after the war was changing and bastardising the Igbo names of communities in the newly created Rivers state to complicate their identity to the point that confused elements are now tracing their tribes to Benin and Dahomey.
I hope Igbos will start learning how to allow minority tribes who have refused to wise up to sink and allow the Fulanis have them under their armpit, enough of the sacrifices with Igbo blood from backstabbing neighbours who stood aside and watched as millions of Igbo kids starved to death just across their fence.
Igbos should stand aside and allow the Fulanis who control the oil blocks continue to use the proceeds to build railways that connects their cousins in Niger Republic while the Ijaws live in squalor and environmental degradation. The average Ijaw politician won't stand for an Igbo like you did to their son Jonathan know this and know peace. |

Politics › Re: Only South West Has Properly Managed Its Diversity, Says Jonathan by Guyman02: 8:05pm On Jun 23, 2021 |
BosseJ: GEJ is spot on. He's not saying Yorubas are perfect but just that they have succeeded the best out of other regions to manage their diversity to foster relative peace, harmony, and development. Other sections of the country can study and learn their success formula. Even we in the South East admire Yorubas for religious diversity and it pains us that individuals like Akintola of MURIC are being used to destroy that harmony in Yorubaland. I think the Yorubas are about the most religious tolerant group in the world where Abrahamics and other religious groups coexist with little rancour |
