Please I have a very sensitive question and please would be glad if I could get clarification

I know of a fact that your study permit or student visa allows you to being your wife along now this my questions

Am I to alloy for her separately or a single application from my end covers for both of us

Secondly if a single application covers both of us would her passport, medicals and biometric be asked of too

Thirdly if am to apply separately how am I to go about it

It looks sweet and interesting when you see pple take their wife along but it definitely comes with a very high cost.

If you want to apply with your wife, her application will depend on yours or vice verse depending on who the primary applicant is.

Secondly, both of you will submit passport(paper route), biometrics, and medical depending on what the dependant apply for.

If primary is studies, then medical is needed.
If primary is work, medical needed
if primary is visit, no medical.

As it is above for primary, so is the same for accompanying dependant. Or as the case maybe.

Like I said earlier on, it’s so sweet to have your spouse follow you as the accompanying dependant but my dear, the application build up is tasking.

Your choice but it’s achievable anyway.

But how did you later go about your Medicals? I remember your case vividly.

When your delay is because of academic progression issues, is it advisable to apply for a new program related to your first degree program or just try to explain why you have decided to change career even though you have no work experience. Secondly I'm thinking if you change the program to one more aligned with your first degree, won't a VO be wondering why the change of program within months and feel you do not have genuine intentions for study?

If you want to change your program; Good.
If you want to explain the reason for choosing a program without work experience; Not bad.

The basic thing is conviction.

There are people with academic progression but wasn’t given because after academic progression some other things count. Like a guy used to say here that if it doesn’t convince you as an applicant then it can’t make sense in the eyes of a trained VO.

Changing program in a matter of months or days doesn’t affect in anyway because all new applications are always treated differently. All they want is Conviction.

Like I said sometimes ago, there was an applicant that got PR and TRV same week.

All new applications are treated differently with a new application fee.

It’s very possible but the status of such person really matter because they will do background check on your sponsor as well.

I think there is a guy on this thread called frank; in one of his post he highlighted all the refusal reasons and how to tackle them.

If you see the gcms notes, you can really ascertain what the VO want since personal assets and financial status comes together.
It could be either of the two or both. That’s why the gcms is good but since you want to gamble, work on the two aspect convincingly and I believe it will work out well.

So you can include it in your next application.

There maybe other things in the gcms note that we couldn’t see right now.

If you do without seeing the notes, then thats a gamble.

But if you really want to gamble, then let me advice you.

Make sure your SOA final balance covers your total tuition, you living expenses, flight itenery and a very good sufficient balance left.

If you don’t have any dependants, good for you.

But if you have, make provisions for all of them and explain it in your SOP.

Bros, on this same thread, I saw someone who applied and had just purpose of visit. He applied again with gcms with the other things he did the 1st time and got purpose of visit and some other refusal.

Yet we have some that reapplied and got it straight.

The ball is in your court, work on your SOA and explain what you did differently in the new application and I believe you should get it.

All will surely be fine.

I just got a denial email, guys. The reason they gave was based on travel history and based on personal asset and financial status. I'm self sponsored and I have over 8m in my account which covers both tuition and living expenses for PGC. I also have landed properties which I furnished them with the survey plans. Not sure what went wrong. I'm about to order GCMS notes and reapply asap because I'm supposed to resume by Sep. Do you guys think I would be able to meet up? Kai, I was very optimistic eh! Notwitstanding, I'll reapply.

Travel history is not the issue.

That 8m is too small for self sponsor.

After tuition and living expenses, fight and the rest. what will you have left in that 8m?

If you have a family that depends on you, what is your plan for them aside the 8m.

If you can’t increase that money in your account convincingly, try to look for a co sponsor.

I did talk about sociology being the study of the development, structure, and functioning of human society. And Human resource management deals with issues related to employees such as hiring, training, development, compensation, motivation, communication, and administration. I linked them up in my sop in terms of their relationships. Are you suggesting I reapply for a different program of study?

To the bolded words above, No and Yes.

NO if you can fully convince the VO.

YES if you can provide academic progression, relevance to the country and the Agro business.

Nevertheless, order for your file to see what the issue is.

But in the interim, start compiling your next application and tackle the current refusal reasons.

And pls remember that all fresh applications are seen in a new way.

1. Yes there is. did Bsc Sociology with 3.95cgpa and going for pg Human Resource Management. I talked about how they are related in my Sophomore.
2. I am currently not working and didn't mention anything about work.
3. No I didn't submit my soa, just my mum's.

5. I didn't, I only talked about being my Parents next of kin and after completing my post grad studies I intend to go for masters then come home to take care of my family agro business.
The course is an 8months Pgd.

As far as am concern, am when you request your file, the bolded words above is the main reason for refusal, hence purpose of visit.

To tackle that issue, your SOP must be very tight.

Talk about the Sociology, talk about the HRM. Talk about how they relate together, what are the benefits you will get in it. What will your country benefit in you. What role will the HRM play in the Agro business.

Pls note; study permit is not difficult.
The little secret is go to IRCC website, look at what they want, then check all the reason for refusal and make sure you tackle it one after the other convincingly in your application and in your SOP build up.

After that, turn to your creator to have mercy on your application.

A successful application starts from the course you get from your school and not the grade.

Make sure you get the right course that will complement all the application coming up.

My final advice for you,

Do whatever you so wish but once you get the letter from IRCC, put it together with your passport data page and send it to them (Qlife) via mail. Put up whatever write up you want in it.

I know of someone who did the above and got appointment 2days later.

Qlife gave you that date because you haven’t sent your Medical Bio Data form to them.

If they see it, you might do the test within the next few days. And as for IOM, I told you they won’t answer you until after 21st.

The problem I have with Qlife is wen I got my medical request examination, I called Qlife on 12th April and told dem it is not an upfront medicals repeatedly like I was hammering on the thing yet the human being answering me was giving me May 2nd. Okay I waited till May 2nd got the clinic dy said submit your passport plus passport photo. Write your passport number behind...we all did but they still didn't ask if we were upfront or on request...what am trying to say is Qlife treats everybody as upfront...till this moment my account is still saying medical yet to be updated...make tomorrow reach 1st..i will call them..

when you send them mail, they see the form and know your category, with that they will give you a date and they will know which category you fall.

So on that day they don’t ask again, they ask for your name, check their list and answer you.

It there academic progression?
Does your current job tally with previous study or do you have enough experience on your current job to progress for the current course of study?
Did you submit your SOA? Even after paying full tuition?
Are you a fresh graduate? Maybe that’s why you didn’t submit your SOA.
Did you link your Job, Your landed property, Your MUM being your Sponsor and the benefit of the course in your SOP?

Nevertheless, order for your file and see their view about it.

Congrats, your medical request will drop before tomorrow morning. Once it drops call Qlife clinic. They are the only one who can give you favorable date for now else IOM Lagos will answer you until after 21st of May.

Tell Qlife that it’s not upfront medical but a request for medical examination.

I told her the same thing but she said she doesn't want to start wasting money on English language test in attempt to achieve the points required, and then start waiting in pool for months. Though she said that her friend studying PhD in Canada advised her that coming through study permit is the best way to migrate because many people with the EE Visa still find it difficult to secure a professional well paid jobs due to the lack of a Canadian qualification. The guy told her that employers value job applicants with Canadian certificate more and pay them high.

To an extent, you are very right but then EE looks good because you pay less in tuition and comes with some benefits as well as in health and the rest.

There is job in Canada and at the same time there is no job. They value their certificates more in job hunting but that doesn’t mean pple without their certificates don’t get job.

I know of someone who had his masters in Canada but after school, he didn’t apply to some jobs with his masters but then he has varsly experienced and he applied with Nigerian BSC and still got job offers.

If her mind goes with studies then let her calm down plan properly with what she’s gonna submit to the embassy and make sure it tally’s with IRCC requirements and I believe she will get it. That’s if she believes.

Nothing is difficult about Study permit, If you do it right with God’s guidance.

To those who have sign of High blood pressure or can’t cope with pressure, be careful when reading on this thread after SUBMISSION of your application. Just trust in GOD no matter how the application you submitted may look. At least we had a testimony of such last week.

To those who can’t hold back on questions asked hear rather than reply in a way that my sound or look rude to others, pls let’s becareful. Instead just ignore the question and move on. Countless times have I typed a response and wiped it back again. You can’t say the psychological position the person maybe.

Someone on a managerial level with these new generation banks do you know how much they earn? Depending on department you can earn well above one million .
People in treasury dept hardly even touch salaries talk more of loans. In the banking industry please note there are levels and not everyone earns peanut as you think

Impossibility doesn’t always have its way with me provided you do the needful and trust God in all you do.

On this thread in 2016, I saw someone who got both TRV and PR.

If you have all they need for the study visa be it 2nd masters or PhD, you can achieve it.

From my end, gather all the knowledge you need here and apply for your TRV and go to the EE route as well and try it out.

Remember, all applications may be connected but they are always treated differently based on what you submit to them.

My problem here is, the house address have been using in all my certificate and Sop is ogun states why all my fathers properties are in oyo state, i really hope this is not a problem.

Your sponsorship aspect looks good.

Although little things count but then that’s not the priority of the VO as regards your address.
