TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by H2oo(m): 2:51pm On Sep 02, 2018
Congrats S4Cannyland, your story is very similar to mine in all respects (spouse's business, time and city of landing) except for your timeline which is slightly different.

May the land favor us all.

S4cannyland:
Hi all,

Been following from the sidelines. Thanks to all that has been contributing to the thread. I plan to write my experience too soon.

So PPR has fallen on us and we plan to land November.
I need all the help I can get as per coping with weather, foodstuff to carry etc. We'll be landing with our kids and I'm trying to make the move as seamless as possible for them

Thanks

If you are in Lagos, go to the ICAN library in Ebute-metta. 2009 should be very easy to get.
I'm grateful.

Sorry I am just seeing this.

When did you qualify and which year did you finish from OOU?

PM me (I hope I will be able to reply the PM) let's see if you can use what I have.
Thanks a lot for your response. I qualified in 2009, same year I graduated. Thanks to God, I eventually got the syllabus from an old friend. I'm only looking for the ICAN professional syllabus. I'd have sent u a pm but I dont know why its disabled on my account. I'd open another one and try to contact you. Thanks a million.

Pavore9: Hmm....it is painful seeing people exploiting others! l can imagine some graduate jobseekers having to request transport fare from family and friends just to attend this fraud of an opportunity. Being mean is not business acumen bt a moral disabilty!
They should be made to face the full wrath of the law. I wish the government could really do something abt this. I once had to travel from far away to gbagada lagos for one of these stupid scam 'job openings'. Don't be deceived. If you can't verify the address of Ɣ☺ΰя interviewer, its not even safe to attend, talkless of being scammed.

titoetal: There's no big difference between 'Made in/Assembled in'. This is just the first step that will lead to sourcing the components parts locally.
The ripple effect of this policy if well managed will be of great benefit to all.

God Bless Nigeria.
That's the point! Whether made or assembled, the point is......cars are being rolled out of Nigerian plants. I believe its a step in the right direction. Gradually, we can address the issue.
