We are still busy on here blowing big big grammar while they are busy penetrating our lands. The war FFK wrote about which you people are expecting in the future has long started. We have been long surrounded. There's no bush in the South that they have not colonized. Grazing Reserves Bill is just an attempt to put an official stamp to an illegality that has been going on for decades and officially, bring out federal government funds to fund it. There are arms buried in several forest across the south by these Fulani herdsmen. Nobody checks them, no one stops or question them. They are above the law. The grazing reserves bill is just an attempt to appear civilized in the eyes of the world and deceive some gullible low thinkers from the south. There's no single day the Fulani herdsmen don't attack a village in this country. All of them shaking hands and smiling with Tinubu, Amaechi, Rochas are part and parcel of this plan. They will eat with you, smile and shake hands in the day, plan against you at night. EL-Rufai is sampling government control of religion in a diverse society at Kaduna. Once he's able to implement it they will spread it across the north. Like play, like play that was how Boko Haram started and now we can't contain it. The average Fulani person does not have sense of belonging or peace of mind until he enslaves and started lording it over you. It is natural to them so, they don't see anything wrong with it. Anyone hoping, working or praying for a peaceful one Nigeria should look round the world and point out one single place, nation etc where the Fulanis are living at peace with their neighbors that are not Fulani? It is pathetic that the psych of our people, especially, leaders and that of the Fulanis are not the same. Our people look at immediate gains and plan; Fulanis look at 100 years and plan. Our leaders look at selfish interest; Fulanis look at collective interest. Their main focus today is the middle belt and south-East. Gradually, they are encroaching into South-West. They are very systematic and wise in their approach. Their greatest ability is the fact that we keep on looking down on them as illiterates, uneducated cattle rearers. They are the most crafty people in the world. They understand politics locally and internationally far more than us. The war started long ago. We are already surrounded. They just decided to be doing the ethnic cleansing gradually in order not to attract the attention of the world. |

The Indigenous People of Biafra has said that the Federal Governments wants to divert the attention of the United Nations from the ongoing trial of their leader and the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu with pretence to release him to the British government. IPOB spokesmen Mr. Emma Nmeze and Dr. Clifford Chukwuemeka Iroanya in a press statement said the plot was to avoid the impending humiliation in the ongoing court trial of bogus allegation of treasonable felony leveled against its leader. According to the statement, the latest in their deception and diatribe is that President Muhammadu Buhari and his media aides‘“grotesque interpretation“of an alleged letter written by IPOB lawyers to the British government concerning their citizen, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The IPOB through its lawyer had on March 24, 2016 allegedly written a letter to the British Government via its High Commissioner in Nigeria. According to the statement, the central theme of that letter was to bring the attention of the British government to the acts going on in the court which include the disobedience of court orders by Federal Government and its agents, the lack of confidence in both the Nigerian judicial system and the trial Judge (Hon Justice John Tsoho), and alleged executive interference evidenced by the President’s prejudiced utterances. The statement also add that “because of the educational and intellectual limitations of President Buhari and his media henchmen, it is disheartening though not surprising that Buhari and his lying group posited that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was begging the British Government to set him free from the illegal detention imposed by Federal Government.“ “Buhari is desperate to wash his hands off the case and is looking for a way out hence the glee with which they spun the news about the letter to the British High Commission. Buhari’s plan is to hide under this misinterpreted letter and release Nnamdi Kanu to British Government and then avoid facing the court of law. The statement said the Federal Government should come to the court to prove their bogus treasonable felony charge against our leader and Buhari must stop scavenging for soft landing.” source: www.newtelegraphonline.com/fg-plans-release-kanu-british-government-ipob/ |

Thinking about this topic, I’ve been wondering who the focus of this post should be – girls or guys or both. In almost every tertiary institution in Nigeria, you find ‘undergraduate couples’ living as husbands and wives. You find a lot of these misguided people in virtually all schools. It’s so bad that, often times, they are duly recognised and acknowledged as couples by lodge neighbours, classmates and even leaders of various students associations. . Little wonder there is such an award as “The best couple of the year award” shamelessly and thoughtlessly received by students..Like I said earlier, I really don’t know the particular gender to address but let me just keep typing. The rate at which girls live with their boyfriends in their various off campus hostels is painfully alarming. . Most times, these young girls are very beautiful, with bright and promising future. They cohabit with boys who are their fellow students as roommates. The lugubrious part of it is that the silly girl would always introduce the small boy as her fiancé..Our society is really sick courtesy of those that live in it. These girls collect either hostel fees or house rents from unsuspecting (and sometimes, struggling)parents and end up in the house of a boy. You struggled possibly for several years to gain admission. Then you suddenly became a prayer warrior posting and shouting ‘Amen’ at the slighted provocation. You fasted. You had one prayer point filled with promises of your loyalty and devotion to God if only He would answer your prayer. Now that He has fulfilled His part by answering and granting you admission, don’t you think He is expecting you to fulfill your own part, to keep whatever promises you made to Him??. . Many of you just got admission and once you settle down (especially from your second year) , crazy thoughts will begin to creep into your minds. Yes by then, the heat of the rush would have been over; If God didn’t capture you (possibly through the various campus fellowships), boys would have caught you. In my school we even have an unrecognized, unregistered but well offered course (Moz101. moz, being the short form 4 Mozambique hall, were fresh female students are accommodated). . For the guys its a course that shouldn't be carried over. Soon, they would persuade you to move in with them. Of course, they’d give you one thousand reasons to make you give in to their prodding.. Before you agree to move in and live with a boy on campus, consider the reason why you are in school in the first place. What image would you be creating about yourself? Can this boy marry you in case you get pregnant for him as is always the case, or will you resort to series of abortions like many other girls before you? What advice will you give your children in future concerning this kind of things? After school, what next? Will the relationship really lead you anywhere?. . This post is finally addressing the female folks. I didn’t plan it that way. Maybe it’s because they are the worst hit by the grave consequences of illicit sexual relationships. They are the ones that turn out to be the sore losers in the end. They call it school life but they don’t realize how idiotic they have been till it’s too late. You are not in school to get married. Part of the reasons why you are in school IS NOT to get the husband-and-wife experience, to see what it feels like for the boy to provide the money for food and for the girl to go to the market for food stuffs and cook. That’s pure misplacement of purpose! One guy told me that he was practically learning how tobe a caring and romantic husband. Such shameless! Then you hear the girl say, “We are not doing anything, we are just roommates”. Yet she commits countless abortions before graduation..Yes, your admission has given you unlimited freedom. Yes, your parents are not there to tell you what to do or what not to do. There is even no blood relation around, so there's no fear of someone reporting you. But what about giving your womanhood respect and protecting your dignity? . What about living in such a way as to have a positive story to tell the next generation (including your children) without your conscience pricking you? What Goes Around Will Definately Come Around.... Y not exercise a moment of thorough thinking.... . Thanks |

Self determination is as legitimate as the human rights of an individual. Self determination in my eyes is a way of expressing total freedom and independence, this to me includes the freedom of a nation to express itself through its indigenous culture, traditions, language, and maybe religious beliefs. 'Biafra' is a name that appears on a number of European maps before the formation of colonial contraptions like Nigeria in the late 19th and early 20th century. Europeans used this name to identify areas of Africa that produced certain products, and eventually slaves from specific ethnic groups. This is an exonyms meaning 'Bight of Biafra' is not a name used by the indigenous people that it was in reference to. Till today nobody knows the true meaning of 'Biafra', it's possible that it was a misnomer by the Portuguese who confused the area with the Biafar or Biafada people of Guinea Bissau. The question is whether the name of 'Biafra' is relevant to the people who have been described as situated on the Bight of Biafra and does it have meaning to these people? Can it be accurately explained to someone who may call themselves a 'Biafran'? Attempts have been made to link 'Biafra' back to the Igbo language, but the fact is even Biafra is pronounced 'Biafura' in the Igbo language and other Biafran languages because the consonants in Igbo do not join, like in the case of the 'fr' in 'Biafra'. The words Biafra is as colonial and foreign to the people as the word 'Nigeria' or 'Port Harcourt' or the twisted spellings of many Biafran towns such as 'Onitsha'. We need to evaluate this name, maybe this isn't the most pressing issue now, but the name of a people is very important. Every great nation can trace its name back to a language and explain its name and why it matches the psyche of the people. The worst thing of Biafra isn't just that it may be a colonial name, but we are unable to further trace back the meaning to a specific language in verifiable terms. Please, if anybody sees this, what do you think? Thank you. |
