@Hadampson, I just want to correct your misconception about student loans. Don't say in Germany that such do not exist, because it does. If you are in Germany then you should have heard about BAfög, which is a kind of soft loan given to Germans who do not have wealthy parents and want to study. The loan is only accessible if your parents are low earners and you have to pay back once you start working. So student loans do exist in Germany, it may not be as high as what is obtainable in Canada or the USA, but a loan is always a loan. Punkt.
