Travel / Re: It Is Impossible To Save $30 (₦9,540) Daily In Canada by Hadampson(m): 12:18pm On Dec 02, 2022

Bro, I don’t have problem with those traveling because at the end of the day, we all are migrants but what I don’t like is the currency conversion and comparison.

One thing I noticed about Nigerians abroad is that once they get there, they put down all egos are hustle crazily something they hardly do here.
You see people putting in 15-18 hours into working / doing double shit jobs or combining it with schooling. These are things they will hardly do here at home.
They push themselves to the LIMIT. I mean it is damn Crazy.
The person here going to school in the morning by 8 and coming back 2/4pm and then start chasing women around or watching ball or wasting the rest time in church all of a sudden will go to US or Canada and in the next 6 months won’t even have time for a woman not to talk of relationship.
Pushing himself to the limit.
My uncle is in Dubai complaining that he drives between 16-18 hours per day. Damnnnnnnnn
18 hours per day on the road yet when he was driving for FC Ebede in nigeria, he will only drive for 6 hours and the rest time at home or sitting in his wife shop.
Another funny thing is the way they live like a miser.
A person claiming he can’t stay in a face me I slap you in nigeria all of a sudden doesn’t see anything bad in staying in a small studio in abroad or sharing an apartment or bunk sef.
All of a sudden, a woman can now hustle and co-finance and sharing bills abroad while she is also putting in crazy time in working.
A woman that won’t work here citing she is taking care of babies or not her duty to spend on the family suddenly is hustling despite having kids and sharing bills.
Any man who works 8 to 2/5pm in nigeria after that picks a bike and go hustle extra in nigeria till 10pm while his wife hustle crazily from 8 to 5pm too in nigeria and while doing all this are staying in a face you I slap you apartment will save heavily also here.

@ Treadway ….. this is my reply to my mention.

You make a whole lot of sense

Another thing I notice is that Nigerians usually change once they reach abroad. A Nigerian can throw dirts anywhere in Nigeria but they won't dare try that in the western countries. I think it's because of the system put in place over there to achieve a sanity lifestyle.

Nigeria doesn't need morality, what we need is a good system cos with good system in place, you won't misbehave when you already know the outcome.

Please OP thanks for your time in this thread please I would love to relocate to Gambia and live please tell me more about the security over there in the city is there anything like armed robbery, pick pocket Thiefs, kidnapping if so please which city in Gambia is more safer to live in and how much is the apartment over there lastly please would love to know about their police are they friendly hope the don't haras Nigerians like the do here in Nigeria the stop and search embracement or illegal house invading I would love to know more about this thanks.

From what I have seen so far on their page on facebook, they seem friendly and accommodating to people provided you are not even shady business.

Gambia is a one city country in Africa. Banjul is the only city you can stay and make money. I doubt if their other cities provide all the basic amenities that an average Nigerian crave for.

Na their category full this section bruh. Always here to discourage people from traveling out. I don't know what they gain from doing that. I call it crab mentality. If i can't leave, then no one must leave.

Travel / Re: Notice To Those Who Wish To Live In Japan by Hadampson(m): 7:31am On Sep 05, 2022

I am curious,

Have you been to Japan? If yes, how long did you stay there? What level of education did you attain? Which school; national, private or public? What did you study? When learning Japanese, did you learn via physical or online classes?

P.S. I was a postgraduate student at an Imperial University.

I saw your earlier reply to Peacefull, you are right about folks who want to japa to know what to expect when going to a new country. Japan could be a stepping stone to say the US or Australia esp if the person has a scholarship. On the other hand, there are many Nigerians in Japan, in fact, the highest of Africans (most are Igbos). They are doing well and work in top firms. The issue is that some Nigerians believe when they japa, they can continue to behave as they did in Nigeria or expect things to be the same. That is entirely untrue. The same holds when an Akwa Ibomite relocates to Sokoto, things cannot be the same, especially if the person is a female. Adaption is an important feature of humans, people should learn to adapt.

I see now.

The issue is mostly from oyibos (weebos as they tend behave like one) who instead of going to the university and learn an actual course (relevant one o) go to language schools. Language schools offer one skill, which is how to speak and write Japanese. The problem is that speaking and writing Japanese is what everyone does. It is like a Nigerian going to learn German in Germany yet complains about the scarcity of professional jobs. The question is: other than how to speak German to actual Germans, what value-added skill does the person has? Regarding software jobs, there are many jobs. Again, the problem is that some people are misinformed and do not know leetcode. No Japanese firm will go through the hassle of procuring the COE for someone who cannot leetcode when there are many grads from Tokyo Tech, Todai, Kyodai, Keio etc., it makes no business sense. How does going to a language school help a software firm? If the person learnt leetcode up to 1500 questions, apply to Raukten or Mercari or Sony, no knowledge of Japanese will not affect the person. In fact, the firm will gladly pay for Japanese classes for such people. Ask Indians who work in those firms how they did it. It is strictly leetcode. One sign of Kanji, dem no sabi. But to expect Hitachi or Nomura to employ a foreigner because the person can speak Japanese is unrealistic.

Additionally, this is the reason I warn our people not to follow oyibos in everything they do. A Brit will move to Japan to do language classes, find a job that pays 250K yen per month can always move back to the UK or marry one Japanese woman who likes white men even when the white man no get money, obtains a spousal visa and begins to rant on Japan Today comment section. But as a Nigerian or black African, go to a university (preferably the top ten and only national universities as private ones are expensive), study a good course, preferably STEM (no go study Japanese history o. You don't/can't know Japanese history more than them. Even Chinese who make up almost half of foreign students don't study that kind of course. Mostly well-fed oyibos do so), LEARN the language like your life depends on it, the aptitude tests, network across your professors, fellow students and everyone who is interested and open to network.

Your quotes are always on point boss. You are one of the few knowledgeable Nigerians on this forum that i look up to. Thank you for this sir.

Can't you guys learn a better skill and go remote? Researching about many of this countries and reading foreigners experiences in Japan on 4chan would make you realize you can't really expect most of them to give you more returns than what their average citizens already make unless you are into importation or business.

Been eyeing the German language but man, na die. Still if I'm going to end up there, I'll definitely learn the language to blend in, maybe get some local experience then go fully remote, work with American companies etc.

That way you can make more while living almost anywhere, that is if tax doesn't eat up most of your income.

German is one of the easiest language to learn for an English speaker. Just devote time and see how it goes.

Prost.

How exactly is she a pedophile?!! Are men also pedophiles for being attracted to ladies over 15 years their junior?!!

Was Ojukwu's relationship with Bianca also pedophilia?!!

Is Ned Nwoko a pedophile?!!

Every man or woman above 18 is an adult, and can choose to date older people! Simple!

Many of you Nigerians continue to amaze me with your low levels of common reasoning.

Their level of reasoning is one of the reasons why this country is retrogressing

The problem is that most are just broke guys who have nothing to offer you. Just to have s.ex while you keep treating infection/aborting.

Most?
That's not true. Just say some.
Not every guy in their early twenties are broke.

No place like home bro!

Why Nigeria is hard is because you can't make it easily. 10m a month? What are you looking for outside?

Home is where you feel at home and not necessarily somewhere you are born in.

You don't know what your saying bro. Even a million per month, you won't dream of traveling abroad where you don't feel free, racist everywhere, tax, no freedom of speech etc.

Do you have freedom of speech in Nigeria
And who said we don't pay tax in Nigeria?

Nowhere is perfect but I prefer Germany to this country.
