ayomideking:Many countries offer scholarships to international students including Saudi Arabia. You only need to search Google search "scholarship position" and click the first link. Subscribe to the website to receive scholarships update daily. |
2braithe:Looking for scholarships is your best bet bro And also you need to improve your financial status cos you need money to leave Nigeria |
tamdun:Later they will be acting like a victim of hatred yet all they know is to spread hatred |
2Lynx:There are some masters courses that are taught in English language. He can search on DAAD to see some of these courses and apply for them With his masters degree and NEBOSH certificate, it would be better for him to apply for express entry. His CRS score is going to be high side by my calculation |
Richdee1:Yes, you're right bro but it will be hard getting into a PhD program if he did not do his masters in Germany |
asiwajusirkay:Thank you so much for this information sir. |
daintyprincess:With business intelligence and analysis, you are good to go sis. The world is tilting towards IT side so any course that has a pinch of IT in it is a good one. While you are at it, check LinkedIn learning application to learn about softwares used in BI As for handwork, hair dressing sells well in abroad Prost |
adejoro1988:Sweden is a perfect example To the best of my knowledge, most PhD courses that are research based (STEM) are usually funded by the institution (tuition free) with monthly payment. The monthly payment depends on the field but it should be enough for accommodation and other things For basic knowledge on how to apply, visit their official website Also, i would advise you apply to some USA institutions cos i learnt that PhD students in the USA with few exceptions receive tuition fellowship and living stipend. In the USA, it is like a form of apprenticeship or employment cos PhD usually have to serve as a teaching assistant or research assistant |
NiklauseFred:I'm present now Jamaica is one of the countries i hope to visit.. I love Jamaican patois and their thick accent ![]() |
Ikwerelastborn:My tribe is not cursed. You are the cursed one here sir. How could you use an individual to judge a whole tribe |
Brawlscartel:I doubt it considering the bad reputation we have as Nigerians in diaspora ![]() And i think there's quota for each country. Nigerians must have exhausted it. |
uthlaw:€5000+ for blocked account Ticket fee depends on the airline you apply for |
uthlaw:Language is not a barrier. They speak German there but you can learn it, can't you? Any IT skills is okay. Just build yourself to an expert level and apply for job in Germany through the job websites. |
Richdee1:You are on point brother ![]() @Uthlaw, look into Germany job seeker Visa if you don't want to go through study route to your dream country. The job seeker visa is a long-term residency permit which allows you to stay in the country for six (6) months and look for a job. If at the end of the six (6) months you have found a place of employment, you will be given the German work visa or a German work permit and you will be allowed to work and live there |
Yashica:Oh, i will share any GA for the above-mentioned courses if i come across one ![]() GodsGabby: jizzyjordan: Richdee1: JohnQueen:Since majority choose trails of green (TOG) i think we have a new title for our official thread. Niklausefred, please do the needful |

Graduate Research Assistantships at Mississippi State University, Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering cc: Yashica
|
Yashica:You're highly welcome |
@Yashica You need to write English test to boast your chances of landing a graduate assistantship position Application is easy. There are the links for courses offered for masters and Phd. So, click on your desired department/course, read through, check for your graduate advisor, send a mail to them expressing that you’d love to do a program (Introduction, your first degree, why the institution, your research interests, anything you deem necessary to add) Your department might offer graduate assistantship funding. So you’ll add in your mail, that IF graduate assistantships are offered in your department, you’d love one. Your advisor might ask for a zoom interview or something. Further application continues from there. |
Yashica:Nothing is impossible. You just need to make research before applying for admission in any university of your chosen country. Be upfront by contacting professors (2 or 3) who you like to work in their research groups and maintain a professional relationship with them that will endear you to them and find a way to informally seek to work for them and if they agree, even mention their names in your Statement of Purpose and why you would like to work for them. Be upfront as the relationship develops to ask for sponsorship from them (Research or Graduate Assistantships). Talk to the Department about funding available. While you are preparing, develop skills that might be of help and make it possible for the school to grant you Assistantships and waive tuition fees and even pay you monthly stipend until you finish your program Graduate assistantships requires lot of efforts but it is totally worth it at the end ![]()
