There are quite a few Africans playing in local clubs and small teams. I don’t know much about football but I see these Igbo boys here who have big dreams of playing in a big German club. Germans are VERY passionate about football and most matches end up in fights, so there’s a lot of racism in that area as well. Get ready to be called names on field.
I'm less bothered about racism as long as it doesn't involve represive violence smiley

I’ve never been to Bochum. Dortmund is where you find all the Owerri boys. It’s like Imo state people had meeting and decided to send their brothers to Dortmund. It’s a really beautiful city and I love it. Calm, they love football, lots of Turks there as well. The black people there are business oriented, they have businesses back home in Nigeria where they send things to.

I wouldn’t say there’s a “best” city to live in West Germany. The west is a great place to live in and most of the cities have similarities in behavior. I’d definitely recommend Cologne, Dortmund, Bonn and if you want to see posh Germans that are clean, good looking, nice, rich and happy, go to Dusseldorf. Dusseldorf is also where you can apply for Canadian and UK visa. Duisburg is okay but it can be boring.
I love Dortmund because of the emboldened cool I guess there is no boring moment in the city like Duisburg.

How easy is it for a black African to enter their main team?

Lol.. Even though I'm an optimist, I don't think my journey to Germany is going to be anytime soon cos of covid-19, financial situation etc

@2nd bolded, I'm sure you're talking about Neuschwanstein wink

I think the castle was the real-life inspiration for the castle in the Disney classic, Cinderella

Lamecod:
I want to advice everyone that is interested in travelling out of Nigeria ,to start thinking out of the box ,most of the embassies in Nigeria are overwhemed with high numbers of applicants ,coupled with a large numbers of fraudulent applicants ,has also made it difficult for them to sometimes be objective in doing their job.

I had alot of experiences with some embassies in Nigeria from Poland to USA,Canada,UK,Mexico ,Italy and South Africa. Most of the time applications for visa was denied without any concreate reasons, but its their country and one as to respect that , the most painful was Mexican visa which was denied because the counsular was not able to contact the university i wanted to attend a Spanish language course, with making any delibrate effort.

If you are fed up with visa denial and wasting money, i would advice you to think of moving out of Nigeria to a less popular country which is visa free or on arrival outside the African continent legally as a student or work visa ,then from there you can apply for a country that is closer in standard to the country you intend to travel to ,if you get the visa go and come back,do not abuse the visa rule it always back fire ,you can now apply for your destined countries based on your preference , use the HDI (countries list of Human development index ) to guide you on where to start from .
You will be so suprised how some countries have empty embassies and how friendly you could be treated if you have the right documents .

In my case i applied for schengen visa from an euroasia country and got it .the process was so easy and what stuck me was the limited docuemntation needed ,because i'm a student ,instead of asking for millions in my bank account ,they simply ask how many days you intend to spend ,if 5 day then you are required to have only 80 euro per day for living expenses ,thats all and letter from your school and 6 months valid legal permit and an hotel and flight resevations.

kindly note most top countries like CANADA and USA both have a very high visa denial rate for Nigerian over 70percent in 2019 ,if in doubt google is your friend ,think outside the box and reduce your chances of wasting your hard earned money .
Spot on *claps*

I intend to start from one Africa country and move to my dream country from there.

Not really in political aspect. Their language and culture are quite similar.

Lovely choices.

@bolded Kenya Critics claim that it's a one city country. That there's nothing much outside of Nairobi. Same can be argued of Botswana.

@Botswana I found the comparison with SA intriguing. Could you please explain what you meant there.
Likewise Botswana is not a one city country smiley

As for the second part, I didn't compare Botswana with South Africa. The country has language and lifestyle similar to South Africa.

Honestly it's funny how people think any country is better than Nigeria. At least if you want to travel outside your country make sure it's a country that is better maybe not great bt at least better than your country economically! If i should tell my parents of all country in the world i am choosing India the kind slap i go chop go reset my brain fast fast grin
India medical school is great no doubt bt after studying what next? Descent jobs are extremely hard to get trust me.
The country is better than Nigeria economically but there are many factors to consider apart from economy. India is not different from Nigeria.

It's better to just stay in Nigeria. I can't move from one shithole to another shithole grin

Someone said something about having a blocked amount of 10000 euros and category B visa.
Most institutions in Germany are tuition free but to enjoy it, you need to show that you are capable of taking care of your living expenses. That's where blocked amount of €10,236 comes in.

Before you are given visa, you need to open to open a block account and fund it with the substantial amount of money.

Due to influx of international students, German government decided to categorize students based on their German level, certificate etc so they created two categories namely A & B

Category A is for students with German Language certificate, German taught masters, first class bsc, PHD program and Scholarship.

Category B is for people with 2.2,"second class lower" and others

These category A & B are for those who have gotten admission. After admission, the next step is to apply for student visa. I hope you find it helpful

Prost

India

I'd rather stay in Nigeria

No doubt, India is good in medicine, chemistry etc but I can't stay in a country that have poor standard of living. Apart from that, most Indians hate African people.

Kenya, the giant of East Africa. Forget what you think you know about Kenya from the lion King. It is so much more than a safari destination or elephant graveyards. Kenya is one of the best place to live in Africa because it’s not only ecologically diverse, but also home to thriving world cities, like Nairobi cool
Although it's overcrowded but life is good in Kenya. The boss, @Pavore9 can relate tongue

Botswana the best country in Africa for me. The country is like a conservative part of South Africa but the downside is that they don't encourage migrants from what I heard but my experience with them online is different from what I heard about them. Only a way to find out, after covid-19, I'm going to explore the country.

Ivory coast this country is the best francophone country in Africa and it's home to African paris known as Abidjan EMEKUSBOY9 can relate wink cheesy

Senegal, 2nd best francophone country in Africa. Terenga the tradition of hospitality might contributed to it tongue
Recently this country has developed one of the world's most affordable coronavirus testing kits and also, building a new $2 billion city diamnadio to help reduce the population in Dakar. If you are looking for progressive countries in Africa, then Senegal should be on your list wink
