cutelekush01: Yes I did but that was on Saturday. Did biometric on Wednesday. Haven’t gotten the refund sef because I saw something like 30 working days or so. My friends that did biometric on the 6th didn’t request for a refund. And they got their visas already. So I left mine too. You can always request for a refund later |

Guys…. Priority visa is still available for those that didn’t ask for a refund…… my friend and 12 other people just got their visa today after an email was sent to them for pickup at VAC.
They did their biometric on Monday and Tuesday last week.
I’m hopeful mine will be ready this week as well… |

Congratulations... Please help out with a tutor for IELTS. Dealkid: PPRRRRRRRRR FINALLYYYYYYY.
Praise God for making this possible. It's been 12months and a week.
ITA- Sept, 2019 AOR - Oct, 2019 Visa office - AVO First ghost update - May,2020 Second ghost update - Oct,2020 PPR - 22nd Oct, 2020
IELTS The struggle was real. Especially in the writing section until I stumbled on a post by Wasseynewest. He helped break it down. He linked me up to another tutor, Pretty who helped with the reading section. After all the practice and 4 attempts, I finally maxed out.
ECA. I used IQAS for my LLB and got equivalent of masters. Lawyers please use IQAS to get maximum points. The timeline for IQAS though longer than WES wasn't so bad in 2018. You still get more points.
ITA After I maxed Ielts, the scores went up and never came down. Back then it was in the 438-442's. Kai!! It wasn't funny coupled with birthday fast approaching. Oh well, I got PNP nomination and my score skyrocketed to the thousands. Finally I was able to get ITA in Sept, 2019.
AOR I had become a Nairaland Professor because I joined in part 3. I read every single page, starting with page 1. Guys page 1 of all the parts is the key. I made a lot of notes. I knew what to do to gather the necessary documents even before AOR to ensure I submitted everything correctly. I even emailed some seniors then. Newmum was very helpful. She was the NOC mama then and she helped look through mine. Oh well, I finally submitted in Oct,2019.
POST AOR I refused to let them rest o. A month after I raised first cse and was told my file had been moved to AVO. I panicked but what could I do. I had been told to just relax since AVO was a nightmare and still is. I didn't relax o. I sent a CSE every month just so my file could be in their faces all the time. I wrote to MP's to help check on my file. Some were helpful and some said I had to be resident before they could help. Funny people. As God would have it, I stumbled on an MP that was great and kept following up. I also requested gcsm notes in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and April. Lolllll. I know what you are thinking but guys Accra is crazy and I wasn't going to take any chance with them. I don't know if it paid off but in May all was passed and then the Covid wait. S I L E N C E
Last week people started getting ghost update and said they had sent "ready to travel " email to Accra. I kukuma joined the wagon on Wednesday. Behold my ghost sort me on Mon 19th, Oct. It birthed PPR on the 22nd.
I give God all the glory for how far I have come. I'm still shocked but it ended in resounding praise.
Newmum Thank you. Wasseynewest Thank you.

Anyways, Incase you need the BCS materials including past question and answers. Pls send a mail to me
However, I don’t know if you can register for the exam without registering with the approved centre. Also you need to attend those online classes for better understanding. Try to pay up now so you can meet up with the classes |

Don’t criticize Josh121: If people think of how much the spend on materials do you think anyone will share ? I am not interested in the program but you sound like the money is the only reason you will not share the materials . No doubt you have the right to share and not to share but dont be too money conscious |

I’m also just a novice like you. Lol I don’t have any background in IT I’m using Compunet Asa2019: Hi, I’m new here so I hope I’m replying this message the right way. I’m about to pay for the BCS course and I wanted to know if you studied on your own or used compunet? If you used them how helpful were the WhatsApp classes and do you have a background in IT . I don’t have a background in IT and I don’t want to waste money so I want to be sure it’s doable and the compunet WhatsApp classes are helpful. Do you also have reading materials I can look through? Thank you. |

Anybody please hadigun: Good morning. Pls I’m new here. I’m about applying for EE. Can my NYSC serve as 1 year of Experience for me. Though I have 2 years of work experience. I want to make it 3 years so I can have a CRS point of 475.
Note: I don’t hv my nysc posting letter anymore. What document can I use instead?
Also About WES... I’m trying to evaluate my MSC. Will I have to evaluate my WAEC also with it or it would be MSC alone? |

Thank you so much. I'm hoping Obehi44: Well, I am not a guru, but if going by this tread, that BVL is not a good sign. Nevertheless, I don't want you to loose hope, this could be the changing point of such assumptions. Now is the time to intensify in your prayers and if you like go to Church and start praying, God can make an exception. Haven't said all of that, since you asked what you did right or wrong, first I think you should have sent that SOP to someone to help vet it. 2ndly, Uncle as sponsor isn't really a tight one though people still get approval with it. 3rdly, 1.7m in your personal acct seems low this days as I had 1.8m and was refused base on financial status. Mind you I don't pray such for you. Rather I pray your app should come out positive IJN. Lastly, those properties in different states you mentioned should have been in your name because they may say "Personal assets " That's my view, not God's decision. My mind is telling me that you will be special. |

I had a 2:2 GPA. Hence, I can’t go for a direct Masters program. Also my proposed course is an upgrade of my undergraduate course, because it focuses more on GIS JustMellow: How did your state your intentions of doing a 2yrs Diploma after a 4yrs UG program in same (similar) field? did you give convincing reasons or show a career progression/self development in such choice (Why a Diploma and not a Masters or PGC/D)? - Hence "Purpose of Visit" refusal reason amongst others.
Until the refusal letter comes, you won't be able to know the complete ticked generic reason.
Wishing you all the best! |

Morning guys, I’m so sad right now. I received my BVL this morning and I know what it means already. My school resumes by Sept this year. I don’t know whether to defer my admission or reapply for my visa. Please someone should advise.
Documents submitted for my Initial application:
All CIC forms Admission letter First semester school fees receipt (8200CAD) SOP (Wrote this myself) Letter or recommendation from employer Study leave approval letter School transcript My CV Passport data page Birth certificate Personal account (1.7m) (I didn’t add my salary account) 1st Sponsor’s letter (My sponsor is my Uncle, not my surname) Sponsors CAC document Sponsors data page Sponsors SOA (15m balance) 2nd Sponsor’s letter (My sponsor is my family friend, not my surname) Sponsors CAC document Sponsors data page Sponsors SOA (4m balance) Parent’s landed document and survey plan (Lagos and Oyo state)
My undergraduate course was Urban and regional planning, finished serving in 2017, got a job immediately in a Top real estate company in Lagos as their Urban Planner.
My proposed course of study is Urban and regional planning GIS (Diploma 2 years) at MOHAWK COLLEGE because they are the only one offering the course. And because I intend to further my knowledge in that area or land development, I had to look for the school offering the course.
Now with this document. Is there anything left behind? What didn’t i do right. Please I need suggestions guys. Right now I’m devastated
Please help... All gurus in the house should pls comment on this post
Thank you |
