virud: Try this .. Invite her to your place ...or make sure she comes around ...for may be 3 days ... Here is the real deal .... When she knocks at your door ,don't answer immediately, and when you do ,ask her if she wants to break down your door... carry a straight face straight to your room...when she begins to disturb you...ask her to leave you alone. Ask her to get dressed that you both are going out. Take her to a fine restaurant. Complain at everything she will there - Her sitting position, how she walks, if she talks while eating, if she stares at another guy,anything... just complain ... Take her home ..continue like this for another three days.... you may add one or two scenes to fine tune it..but the theme shouldn't be altered that much ...
If she is still der by the third day, really really upset her ...make her get super angry ..if she starts her madness... draw her close ,give her a hug (of her life) and show her the ring and pop the question... choose a public place for this last scene! Good luck !
NB: You're responsible for your actions ,any loss of property or money or life or whatsoever in the course of this act is entirely your problem. e no concern me if you eventually loose your friend. this is the dumbest post I have seen today |

I have being having discussion s with tens of pple here and no issue but ur useless uncultured self will place his first argument and be using sensitive words.. stiupid fool.. oponu aiyerada... You are just an example of the yoruba hypocrites I was talking about on the thread before you came to show usa ppractical example . Ode.. you clame u are a cultured yoruba person but use insultive and sentitive word.. bloody dumb hypocrite.. u have luck I don't have time this morning, would have shown u how stupid you are to the core.. nonsense african he-goat with slave mentality. . Everyone educated and intelligent person understood my point on this thread that respect should be reciprocal. Only a african foool like you would not comprehend that easily.. even if u can, ur slave like mentality will never allow u to demand respect from everyone person all because of some useless aspect of a culture some people founded, of which God even condemns. When u grow sense, u can argue with people outside ur enclosed and enslaved world. Dont come and be disgracing urself in public... oponu jatijati |

Awoofawo: I agree with you. From western point of view, greeting is privilge but from africa, it is a tradition, the building blocks of a stable and peaceful society.
You can't seperate yourself from your environment code of conduct without upset the social harmony. I can greet u mocking u.. see this guy, u never see anything. Greeting does not and never equates respect, it can just come willingly as a result of respect.. I might be rude to u and yet greet u. I might respect u and not greet u at a point. . It's better y'all know what respect is and stop abusing this precious word in English Language. |

Awoofawo: Awon agba ma wipe ile lati ko eso rode! One can't see that you didn't have any home training in you to take out.....
I doubt that your claim of being Yoruba!
No matter one level of education, one must never jettison one cultural heritage, no matter how crude outsiders may see it or appear to you. Your culture is your identity, it is what made you unique from others around you.
You are seriously devoid of home training and lack understand of social important that respect plays in preserving the peaceful co-existence in a dynamic society. its good to be respectful but not deluded and stupidd Greeting is not respect sef. I can greet u and rude 2 u always |

gatiano: I am in a bad mood, so i didn't greet my dad, or an elder, The simple question i would ask myself is "Am I a baby or kid?" that cries because mummy did not leave me some cocacola? I would greet my parents despite the mood because of our close connection and as per a regular thing but not everyone out there.. You can call my attention and ask why I am in a bad mood Instead of thinking am rude because I didn't greet u once |

gatiano: Should you see Your dad, uncle or aunty or elder family friend and you expect him to greet you first? Should you see your Father's friend, and you throw forward your hand first for an handshake? if I don't see him first and he sees me first.. I expect himto greet me or ssimply say how are u.. Handshake is a good way to greet.. If I am your boss in the corporate world and you need to do a presentation to me for the company, you wouldn't throw a handshake because you are older than me? Well I won't sack you because am a nice person.. If you throw the handshake, then u are an hypocrite.. so u see the situation of the yoruba culture? |
