Phantom Dust was a huge surprise announcement back at E3 2014, but since then the project has seen nothing but trouble. This eventually led to the cancellation of the complete remake of the cult classic title, but a remaster was promised to arrive some time this year. Fans waited in anticipation, but no firm release date has been announced, but according to Phil Spencer Phantom Dust’s Xbox One release will come before E3 2017.

Namco Founder Masaya Nakamura Has Passed Away
Namco is one of gaming’s oldest and still most prominent companies, which merged with Bandai over a decade ago to now become Bandai Namco Entertainment. The company was founded by Masaya Nakamura back in 1955 as Nakamura Manufacturing and has found much success over the years, but sadly we have to report that Mr. Nakamura has passed away.
There is no question that Nakamura was a pioneer in the industry and the landscape of gaming likely wouldn’t be what is today if not for him. Namco has brought us too many classics to count over the decades, including Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga, and more recent series like Soulcalibur, and so many more.

Xbox One Could Still Get Keyboard And Mouse Support

Last week, Square Enix announced that Deus Ex developer Eidos Montreal was working on a new Avengers game with Tomb Raider studio Crystal Dynamics. Some wondered what that might mean for the future of Deus Ex. The series is now reportedly "on hiatus," with Eidos working on a new Guardians of the Galaxy title. This is all according to Eurogamer's sources.
The untitled Guardians of the Galaxy game is reportedly "in the early stages of production," according to Eurogamer.

Fallout 4 gets PS4 Pro support and PC high resolution

Update 1.9 comes out next week for PC, PlayStation 4 and
Xbox One. On PS4 it adds support for the PS4 Pro, which
means it gets enhanced lighting and graphics features
including a native 1440p resolution, enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs, and enhanced godray effects.

Also next week, Bethesda will release a high-resolution
texture pack for the PC version of Fallout 4. "Consider this

Nintendo Releases New Switch UI Details

The Nintendo UK has also release some additional
specifications about the device, but of course doesn’t include much from a technical aspect. The 6.2-inch capacitive touch screen runs in 1280×720 (720p) resolution, while the Switch can output a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 (1080p) at 60 frames per second in TV mode.
