Birth certificate and passport was out within 3 weeks.
However, there is an expedited option for passport which will make the make to be out within 5 working days.

For hospital registration, its alot easier if you are already in Canada. Getting a doctor from Nigeria is pretty difficult but not impossible.

In my wife's case, when she got to Canada she had to google and called a couple of hospitals, made contacts before she got a gynea but it wasn't difficult.

Hello, could you guide how you were able to get the ontario birth registration done, obtain birth certificate and process passport in three weeks. Also, on the ETD from the embassy, did you have to travel to Ottawa or you mail the documents to the embassy and how long did it take to get the ETC. I am in Brampton, ON but plan to return to Nigeria within the shortest possible time after birth.

It was done on the 6th of this month..I didn't visit alagbon. I had to pay an officer to help with it..

How do I confirm the genuity please. I have seen another new type which is the new type I heard. Please does this 2 types of PCC suffice?

Just not sure if IRCC has now defaulted to this recent type.

Better to do the new electronic one that can be easily verified on police portal to avoid stories that touch. I once got the old one before IRCC requested for an update PCC. I had to cough out 40k and once done, you can verify at possap. IRCC will even require that you enter those details which are not on the old one

Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa are the most usel*** and incompetent people I can think off at the moment…wicked and terrible. I applied drivers license extract, paid $100 money order, sent my original documents/license. These people lost my license and didn’t contact or respond. They won’t even reply to emails or answer their phones for months.

I had to apply for a license reissue from naija and applied for Drivers license extract from FRSC naija. Finally i did my G1 yesterday, passed and got waived to proceed for G road test.

May 2021 - Information request from IRCC asking if I am still interested in Canada.

June 2021 - Notified of marriage

July 2021 - Spouse Application documents requested by IRCC

Oct 2021 - New born. Started Passport processing immediately

Nov 2021 Spouse medicals and BIL

Dec 2021 - Notified IRCC and submitted Passport

June 2022 - Remedicals for me

How did you know its 12 candidates interviewed? I understand the interviews started at 8am with average of 30mins per candidate. I also understand it did not end until 6pm. Some also had theirs the next day. Going by that logic, there shud be at least 20 candidates.
