Zbk001: After mine earlier message that u suggest I send email the dept; I sent am email to the dept through the academic coordinator of the dept ( MAccFin) ... and received reply and because of the nature of the course (professional course) , I was directed to have mine transcript assess by CPA to determine my eligibility (Just like am ICAN body in Nigeria)...
I tink this is the hallmark for mine eligibility to apply for the desired program... good, goodluck huh, will like to hear positive result |

Ayotola2020: Hello all,
At last I got my PPR today after 5 months and 3 weeks , almost 6 months and 26 days after bvl The waiting was excruciating.
Special thanks to the rear gem on this platform @makano. He is truly competent in visa processing. I almost gave up but he gave me some advices yesterday on how to mail IRCC which I followed through and my PPR came within 24 hrs
Infact my application was part of those he posted yesterday with bvl and no PPR for 26 days.
This is my timeline:
Application date: 10th Nov,2021
Biometrics: 12th Nov,2021
Medical request: 15th March, 2022
BVL: 24th March,2022
PPR: 20th April, 2022
Like I said earlier, special thanks to Makano. I am a silent member on this group but I got a lot of information here that helped me. Makano kept reassuring me when I was down.He is vast in the visa processing and also very compassionate. God bless you greatly sir.
God bless everyone here taking their time to share their timelines. I would be an ingrate not to share mine.
For all other waiting, it shall all end in praise congratulations |

Zbk001: I have thought about it, just curious because of the Neco, I have also check information about the school and they provided info about the minimum requirement of Mid- B, English proficiency test, and others: but no information about High school result check the department you want to go to, look for one of the lecturer’s or admission officer’s email and send an email ask if they accept neco result and also let them be specific about their cgpa requirement, so u no go waste your application fee, you can always ask them any question huh, different schools with different requirements, I personally used WAEC |

Chyigb: Good morning I'm new to nairaland & just joined the forum.
Please I'd appreciate response from people with similar experience, I got refused on my 1st application(Study permit) with my kids in Sept 2021(insufficient funds). I reapplied alone 31st Jan 2022 & got Medical request from IRCC on the 16th of March and it was updated to passed on the 29th of March and no word from them since then. It's making me anxious & wondering what could be responsible for the delay as I noticed that most people get response a week or 2 after medical is sorted.
Thank you Hello, I’m also in your shoe, waiting for ppr after medical request since March too, I hope we hear soon from them, I’m to resume by May |

ANGELAREE: No body answered this It’s urgent please when he/she finds an institution, check the admission requirements, it differs for each school, but the major thing is the under graduate transcript, some may accept unofficial copy while some official copy...just look for institutions and check their requirements on their website. I hope this is of help |

Scott99tish: Kindly ignore any grammatical error as I cannot proofread anything with this joy in me… Lol
See below timeline of my application: First Application Submitted April 30th, 2021 I found Nairaland first week of August then I got to know about Upfront medical
Upfront medical August 4th, 2021 Delay came on August 16, 2021 Reason: Personal Assets and Financial Status.
I paid Half tuition fee with 10million in my account as Self-Sponsored. I was wondering HOW and WHY refusal again… But after dropping my delay on nairaland, I got some responses then I knew where my problem was even before I got GCMS note. So I started tackling and typing… Lump sum. I never stated anything finance in my SOP, talk-less of mentioning the lump sum I had 4 days before submission. Well, a lesson.
I ordered GCMS note and the result was actually correct. Lump sum. What I did different; 1. I paid Full tuition fee 2. I explained all the lump sum I had in my LOE, even when they won’t be in my new statement of account because I had to wait till December for submission to avoid stories again. 3. I gave sources of all lump sum I had then with documents to back them up. Some equipment I owned, I brought up their receipts and their rental agreement which gave me lump sums.
Secret: Don’t rush any submission. Try to get it right.
I ensured I don’t have ANY new lump at allll. I wrote my beautiful LOE and SOP, to me beautiful, lol.
Thank God I asked Makano to review for me. Then He blasted me ehn. I was like, It took me 14days to come up with all this and this guy was just putting lines lines lines. Well, I relaxed because He knows better. We kept going back and forth but He para that I don’t want to learn that He charge for what he’s doing for me free, Sorry I had to say all this Makano, it’s just funny to talk about them now.
I pleaded with him that I will pay what ever fee, because I like how he’s getting angry at me because I needed to get it right. I sha paid the discount He gave me because He saw how dedicated I was.
Finally We got something meaningful that I confirmed my initial beautiful LOE/SOP was rubbish.
He’s good… He like a brother, always checking Up on me via mail… General Makano
Re-applied 7th of December, 2021… Action movie started. 7th of Feb, 2022 being my birthday, Eligibility started. 29th of March, 2022 Original Passport Request.
Thank you guys for all and I will remain here to pass more knowledge acquired here. @Makano, Teemenzo, KellyKk, Osemigho, Technix, Buchito1, Ketima, Jollytravels that will and must travel… Many more that I cannot remember for now… You guys have been awesome…

Donkunxex: I have done the medicals, did mine on 10th but qlife hasn’t sent my results to ircc, didn’t know qlife takes long to send results, I for don use IOM..Thanks
Thanks. I coincidentally got a medical request on thesame day I booked for a session on iom’s website (hours after booking) . I was given 22nd of March initially so I mailed iom explaining to them why I need to get my booked session moved. So they worked something out and gave me 9th of March. If you’re using iom, just send them a mail if you have gotten a request they will respond in two or three working days. I don’t know much about Q life though. But if you have the medical request they will work something out. If you’re doing upfront, I am not so sure. |

Teemenzo: Vaccine collection everywhere is free. QLIFE could add that to their policy as they have increased their fee for medicals so please misleading information shouldn't be shared. Till today, Covid Vaccine collection is free at all collection centers. There are centers that have been collated by NCDC which you can see online Thank you. aren’t we saying thesame thing? I said they added extra fee at qlife but it’s actually free at primary health care centers, please read well |

itsmolep: This is totally false. The vaccine is Free!!!!!!!!! when last did you go for medicals? I had mine last week at qlife and people without vaccine was asked to pay extra around 50 something thousand instead of the usual #46,500, so don’t say what u aren’t sure of, and u can see where I said normal healthcare is free |
