Benin City has always been an administrative headquarters of multi ethnic entities. Be it multiethnic Bini empire, Midwest, Bendel and now multiethnic Edo state.

I have always suspected that Igbo people had links to modern day Edo States.

I believe i mentioned dat here, wen refering to Ebira language being similar in sound to Igbo and wondered if Igbo split into two group with one coming from the west of Kogi and Edo to settle in Delta North and the other coming from the East to settle in present day Umueri.

Evidently, Enugu people celebrate igodo festival and the founder of Ndiigbo is called Eri.

I recently discovered that the first ever King of Benin was Igodo and his son/sucessor was Ere.

Apparently, back then in Edo, the Kingdom of Idu was multi-ethnic with various group producing the King.

Yet again, the word Idu is central to Kingship in Alaigbo.

A title is not complete without the word Idu, such as Idu Ezeudo etc...

Also, the present day Bini were refered to as Igodomigodo people. The word bini and Edo or Ado were introduced recently.

I further notice a great number of dem feel comfortable wearing our Isi Agu cultural attire.

Very interesting history.

Truth be told both Nigeria and abroad, lecturers have favorite students and many of dem sleep with their student and give dem generous grade.

Nigeria own is not special or exceptional.

It happens everywhere.

However, wat needs to end, is lecturers marking their students exam papers.

If they dont like u na wahala, becos they will give u bad grade no matter how well u did in that exam.

If u like write all the correct answer, they will slash your mark down.

Exam papers should be sent to other University.

This is her own story, my brother.

Everybody story is unique and dat is life.

Many died that day, and dey said she was the lucky one.

Yeah, she is lucky to have her sight, ears, taste, nose, hands and legs.

Even sef, she might still be able to hold her own children through surrogate.

I think, the purpose God spared her(her mission) is not complete without reproduction.

Let somebody else carry the baby for her, she has suffered enough. U can imagine, pains became a way of life for her. Surgery upon surgery after the pains from the initial crash.

She has the genetic make up of the pictures i posted despite her surface burns.

So nexttime, u look at people and make rash judgement try to restrain yourself becos we are all mortal surperficial beings that are destructible.

Wen dat happens, u need to find ways to remind yourself of who exactly that person is and show compassion, love and care, which is wat they need not shit talk.

The important part is her injuries have healed.

The rest is cosmetic. sucha as hair and make-up to hide the scars visible face but her body is fine.

You are funny. Who is really losing politically in Nigeria? No, it's not the Yorubas. It is the Igbos. You have allowed your self-centeredness and inability to form alliances rob you of the place that could have been yours in the affairs of things. When Nigerians are contending any social ill all you do is to call out the ethnic group of the persons involved, and stay aloof because it's not your people that is directly concerned. If now it's an Igbo man that is at the center of the storm, you start screaming that no one loves you, that you are being victimized and marginalized... Self-centeredness. Incurable hedonism.

And do you really think an Igbo man will emerge in 2023, or 2027, or 2030... You see, how gloomy the picture is for you. I really don't blame those who say Igbos will never again rule this country, not until you learn how to join hands in building it.

I know the next thing is to pour in abuses. Go on.

BIZME A TYPICAL AFONJA.

INSTEAD OF SEEING THE BIGGER PICTURE OR THINK ABOUT WAT IS BEST FOR NIGERIA.

Nigerian music star, Sound Sultan whose real name is Olanrewaju Fasasi shared a post on his social media page about the new rule he just mapped out for his family.

According to Plateau State born, he just realized while he was fulfilling the big dream of bringing his kids a “aje butters” who speak fluent English, he’s fallen short of upholding his duties in passing down the culture through the language of his mother tongue – Yoruba.

In view of that, the music star, who is married to his wife, Chichi Morah now Farida Fasasi for 10 years said henceforth, the lingua franca in his home will be Yoruba, no more English.

He wrote;

“I JUST REALISED WHILE I WAS FULFILLING THIS BIG DREAM OF BRINGING MY KIDS UP AS AJE BUTTERS WHO SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH, I HAVE FALLEN SHORT OF UPHOLDING MY DUTIES IN PASSING DOWN THE CULTURE THROUGH THE LANGUAGE OF YORUBA… yoruba is now the lingua franca in my house.”

U should have married a Yoruba woman.

A son of the soil, would have done such, to show his commitment to his culture and people.

I married my Igbo sister, would not have it any other way, as a very proud Igbo man.

U go carry Chioma dey call am Farida.

Now, no more English, it is Yoruba.

Even the house Chioma came from, it is not like that they speak Igbo all through without English. Otherwise, u for no marry am, becos of communication barrier.
