Trollronaldo:You fool can never be Portuguese, you can only be a black third class monkey who's married to a Latino bitch of a wife. |
Lol! Like Portugal? What a strange language they speak over there. And you're a black man moving to an orphan nation. You can never be Portuguese, no matter how many years you spend there. LMAO! |
mercysamuelson:Peace in the States, is not a matter of the state you reside in, instead it's a matter of the City you reside in. All the big cities are quite unsafe, most especially Chicago, Baltimore and New York (your opinion may be different). If you want peace, just try any small city or town, avoid the big cities. |

These States look alike, and share almost the same culture, you can drive from one of them to the other without realizing that you're in another State. They're 20 out of 50 kids. They lived with their Dad who's divorced, their Mom stays in far away Europe. I give my ranking as thus : 1. Washington and Oregon 2. Minnesota and Wisconsin 3. Virginia and West Virginia 4. New York and New Jersey 5. Pennsylvania and Ohio 6. Illinois and Indiana (Forget about Chicago) 7. Kansas and Missouri 8. North Carolina and South Carolina 9. Maryland and Delaware 10. Arizona and New Mexico The remaining 30 states are Single kids. You're free to add your own twin states, based on your experiences. |
Nothing to wail about. US learns from it mistakes, that's why it's the most advanced nation on earth. |

Most of those insults are scripted. Now, the both actors are sharing the money. |

Because they know that Okoro will take advantage of it, and try to 'develop' Oman. |
Can a Nigerian American, who was born and raised in the US, and has a Nigerian first name or last name for instance, a name such as 'Johnson Adeleke' be assigned as a Visa Interview Officer in Nigeria? What would that result to, don't you think it will lead to more Nigerians getting Visa from him, or don't you think he could be an ass licking patriot of the United States, and decide to deny more Nigerians visa? Nairalanders, please feel free to debate this. |

0monnak0da:I'm a full blooded Yoruba, and I have the right to acknowledge my people. You can stay off my post if you're nuts at it. |
Even his cap has "Chinasa" written on it. Meanwhile, every politician had always campaigned with his Surname. For instance, "Trump 2022" "Shettima" "Biden" "Reagan" "Carter" "Sanwo-Olu" etc He's a fucking Okoro, a very deceptive one this time around. |
This is a pure Okoro. A full blooded one! |
TradingGod:I'm a Yoruba, but I had to write from a neutral point of view. |
White people have the largest Economy in the world - Yoruba have Lagos, the largest regional Economy in Africa. Ogun is the most industrialized state in Nigeria. White people are accommodating, their countries are very diverse, as they accept different nationalities to become one of them- Yoruba are accommodating, they accept people of different ethnicities into their land, for instance, Lagos is the home of many diverse people, who live there, work their, get appointments and call it their home. White people are the cynosure of all eyes- Yoruba are envied by many ethnicities in Nigeria and the world over. White people are liberals - Yoruba are liberals, they accept other people's view. Whether Muslim or Christian or traditional worshippers. In a Yoruba family, the father can be a Muslim whilst the mother a christian and the children Muslim and Christians, yet they will exist in peace. Yoruba are like white people. |
Where are those people who never believe the truths? Congratulations to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come May 29, 2023. |
His is a Sierra Leona from his father and Igbo from his mother. He is not a Yoruba by any inch! |
Deporting shameless igbos, not 'Nigerians'. |
samwash:Thanks for this! |
1. Learn the language: Don't move to a country thinking your English will do it for you, of course, it will be of advantage to you, but certain doors will remain close as long as you don't speak the lingual franca. 2. Stay positive: Always remain positive whilst bearing it in mind that the country is not a utopia. Focus on the major purpose that took you there. Don't get distracted because Emeka has built a house in his village, or Bayo has bought a Lexus, and now lives in Ikoyi. Rather, be positive and always bear it in mind that you migrated for a purpose which you must achieve. 3. Embrace the country: Learn to be at home in the country and take it as a second home, or even your homeland. Be free, explore it, learn about it, and get yourself acclimatised to it. 4. Have a plan B: Don't expect all what you planned back in Nigeria to come into reality. If you planned to be a doctor, also make a plan B to become a caregiver, if the Medical opportunity fails you. If you planned to live in a big block in Chicago, also make a plan B to live in a farm house in Iowa. This way, you wouldn't be caught up between disappointment and failed plans. 5. Look beyond the border of your own community: Don't just be into the Nigerian community alone, instead integrate into other communities in the country. Try joining the Chinese, Indian, Ghanaian etc. This will create more opportunities for you, and before you know it, you will have known China without visiting China, Known India without visiting India etc 6. Take risk: Don't be afraid of taking risks, I'm not asking you to disgrace Nigeria by indulging into crimes. That's crime, and shall never be included in my list. Instead, what I mean is that you shouldn't be afraid of going into business that will change your life positively. Don't be afraid of buying properties and selling them. Don't be afraid of buying cars and sending them to Nigeria to be sold. Don't be afraid of working and studying (if the system permits it). 7. Be involved in volunteering: Learn to volunteer, in a way that is within your capacity. It may be in a community service like cleaning the city, raising funds for kids with diseases, teaching English to immigrants etc 8. Get a mentorship: Get a mentorship from an Organization or trusted person, also be involved in Mentoring people. 9. Be involved in networking: Learn to build networks, in Nigeria it's called connection. Learn to have friends from the school, the places of worship, the grocery store, the law enforcement, the medical center etc. All of these will go a long way in helping you. 10. Avoid crime: Avoid crime! |
Parachoko:The trees are protected by environmental laws. The benches are not. Wisdom! |
what does moving abroad profits you?
How has being in Nigeria affected you?
What will be your loss upon moving abroad?
