seunfly: Nothing is too big to fail in this world.
Empires rise and fall, that is the cyclic tenor of history. There is a famous Chinese expression that says, "30 years to the East and 30 years to the West" meaning nothing is forever. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die"....The Byrds sang in Turn, Turn, Turn--Pete Seeger's song.
I have seen the fall of the Soviet Union, the end of Apartheid, the fantastic growth in world wealth, the doubling, halving, doubling and halving of oil prices, the advance of elections everywhere, a clown become president of the US and the rise of China and I’m only a little old.
The biggest bank has been swallowed by the smallest, where is IBM today, Sega and Nintendo are nowhere to be seen again, Toshiba, Sunny, Sanyo, kenwood are dead and buried, AGFA is the king of photograph 30 years ago, common tecno is better than it today.
I repeat, nothing last forever, everything in life is a circle. Yoruba proverb says "10 kings, 10 kingdom and 10 generations" " 10 kids can't play together for 10 years" it simply means something can't rule for ever, only God can, everything has it own time but God is time. that's inspiring |

zionmde: My humble advice if it is virtual continue going to the betting centre with empty pocket, a pen and a book for every game, forecast as usual but this time u won't place the bet because u don't have money keep count of how.much u lost, subtract the amount u won from it. now the balance is how much u could have lost that day if u were with money. keep doing dat every time u are tempted to play.u will watch urself leave betting gradually
For live games bet with u phone, save the bet but don't play it. Keep track of how much u could have lost if u bet
Anybody who tells u that he always win is a scammer Ask urself why bet9ja is very rich today of course they built their wealth on ur losses That's a good therapy |

A cadaver is a dead human body that is used by physicians and other scientists to study anatomy, identify disease sites, determine causes of death, and provide tissue to repair a defect in a living human being. Students in medical school study and dissect cadavers as a part of their education. Others who study cadavers include archaeologists and artists. |

In Kano, everything is cheap, only problem is the city is very big and large if going long distance you need double or triple trip. There's space for everyone. If you speak Hausa it can be an advantage. It's a conservative state only if you know your ways, If you are a non native Sabongari area is where you can comfortably recide, you will think you are in the East. Kano should be competing with Lagos but the level of development is not up to a big city standard, and it an ancient city but modern surroundings. In Jos everything is relatively cheap except human life from both side (so called Muslim and so called Christian) , the areas are well linked to one another even though crises has carved out boundaries for both sides, city centre is occupied by all the major 3 tribes but Hausas have some slight edge while the outer city is dominated by the natives, most natives do is civil service work, while other tribes are into commercials, good weather, average life style, problem only is crises can spring up anytime, but if u know the environment well no wahala.
Zaria, Ibadan, Niger, Bauchi, Oshogbo, Lagos, Katsina Oyo did not stay much longer to know how things works there. |

spiralwedge: Thanks. You have really motivated me. Will open my ears and shine my eyes very well when I am there.
Resener13, sherylbakky, I don't like Ibadan. Unless maybe I try suburbs.
Drmikeadams, heard Uyo is VERY expensive. Can only go that far if I'm assured of an income generating business or engagement.
Aleora, Fonzie2u, been to Akure twice on official visits and didn't get to move out on my own. I loved it. I still remember we stayed in an hotel in Alagbaka and the second time in Òke-Jebu. 2 lovely serene places. But I really don't know much about the city. I remember we passed a busy place/market and we were told it's called Ọjà Ọba. What are the entrepreneural prospects and accommodation rates? Room/self contained for a start or a mini flat?
Aleora, can I whatsapp on your biz line?
Izuogu1, I will have to visit Enugu first. The closest I've been was Asaba, though I love Asaba but it's too dry commercially. Looks like a civil servants city.
Haryoureendey4, thanks but from what I read and heard on the media and people, Kano can be very volatile. I was told it always appear peaceful but when violence sparks it is usually unannounced. Kano and any where else in the core North are No No please. In all North there are always location/region where non native s are concentrated with less external influence. for example in kano sabongari / no man's land you go think you are in the South plus it larger than some capitals in some states in everything. |
