Hello guys. Pls I have a question. So take for instance, my sch fees and maintance fees total is 22,800. I have had 20,000 in my account waiting for 28 days to mature. But I want to pay 3000 pounds from my other account as part of school fees. And I intend to still leave the 20, 000 pounds in my main account that I will use for POF. Do you think that will fly or I'm I suppose to have had all the 22,800 in the main account since the start,then pay from there??

Congratulations, I am still waiting for mine, biometrics since 4th of June (Standard). I don't know what the delay means anymore.

I have a friend with correct names on all her documents except her WAEC result. On her WAEC result, her first name is written as "Tolu" instead of "Tolulope".

Can she do an affidavit to back this up as WAEC can not change the name on her certificate?

I applied for my visa on the 1st of june (Standard application) and biometrics was done on the 4th of june, it has passed 15 working days and I am yet to recieve and mail from TLS or UKVI, please what could this mean? It is now 25days since my application was submitted, I tracked it and it is still showing received by DMC. I am about going mad here, please help @justwise @optimally

This is an excerpt of the mail:

If you made your Student visa / Tier 4 visa application outside of the UK (you applied for entry clearance):

1. Your CAS is ‘Used’ because a Visa Officer has received your application and will now consider it.

2. The Visa Officer should make a decision on your application within UKVI’s advertised processing times: https://www.gov.uk/visa-processing-times. Please note that these times do not include weekends or public holidays. If you have paid for and used the Priority Visa Service you should receive a decision within the local advertised time for that service.

3. If the Home Office (UKVI) grants your application please read the information at the link below, which explains how your visa will be issued and how to check its details: https://www.ukcisa.org.uk/Information--Advice/Visas-and-Immigration/Making-a-Tier-4-General-application-outside-the-UK. Click ‘When your visa is issued’.

4. Please note that you must provide us with colour scans or photographs of the personal details page and the entry vignette in your passport, and both sides of your BRP card, when you have collected it from the Post Office. The University is required by law to obtain copies of these documents in order to enrol you. Please email them to ..........

5. If you have already started your course and applied for an extension to your visa from outside of the UK, you must provide us with colour scans or photographs of both sides of your BRP card. Failure to do this within a reasonable period may result in your enrolment on the course being blocked.

6. If the Home Office refuses your application, it will provide you with a ‘Refusal Notice’. As soon as you receive this notice, you should urgently seek advice from the university’...... You must also provide us with a copy of every page of your ‘Refusal Notice’.

7. An International Student Adviser at the Student Advice Service will contact you to offer you advice on the Home Office’s refusal.

8.You should note that you can only use a CAS once. If you are advised to make another Student visa application, you cannot use the same CAS again but will need a new CAS number.

We did Biometric on the same day 7th June, today makes it 13 working days. There was a public holiday last week Monday. I believe we will get feedback next week

This is the longest 3 weeks of my life. I did biometrics for standard application on 7th of June but haven’t received collection mail from TLS till now & couldn’t track application on TLS website too. Anyone been in my shoes?

Please, for those that got unconditional offer from their university using student's copy transcript, did you get your visa using same student's copy transcript?

Also, those that already got msc in Nigeria and got another msc offer in the UK. For visa application, was it stated in your cas to also upload your msc degree or transcripts? Or just your bsc degree and transcripts only?

The guy told them o, they said the rep is trusted and has been handling their students' application for many years.
They are just bent on either he uses the rep or they withdraw cas and refund. I'm really disappointed in University of South Wales. I don't know who leaves oanda rate and uses "N650" as the benchmark.

But before I advise him to do anything, I want him to have another offer first.

Hello house, I was offered admission for msc at Northumbria university Newcastle and I have made deposit but the school have not send my CAS letter yet , I emailed them and they said they have not started sending CAs to countries that are not in the green list, I want to know if anyone here is experiencing the same thing and if other schools in the UK have started sending CAs to Nigerian students or is this the way Northumbria normally do and if yes when do they start sending CAs, pls I need answers
