Good day mamas. It's my first time here. My LO is 6 weeks old today. She developed rashes (pimple-like) on her face at about 3 weeks old. The rashes seems to be getting worse, and her facial skin now appears dry and scaly. I have been to the paed, he said it will go on its own that i shouldn't apply anything but i'm very concerned. I have been using MSM for over a year and although I love MSM for the internal health benefits plus softening of new growth, however, it had no impact in lessening the shedding and breakage. I tried a bunch of things, henna, cassia, black tea rinses, garlic conditioners and although I saw some reduced shedding, none of these stopped the shedding completely until I incorporated silica in my diet by drinking bamboo tea. As stated above, bamboo has high levels of silica. I started drinking bamboo leaf tea approx 30 days ago and the result was immediate. Over time, I noticed that my hair felt stronger, less fragile and prone to breakage and the shedding has completely stopped. My wash day has seen significant decrease in breakage when detangling. My hair was going to be four years in January, it was all the way to my armpit but a lot if it weren't equal and from studies; four years hair journey! I should have hair at least reaching my bra strap.

I got annoyed and chopped it off all way a little above my chin ( now am rocking the Bob style). My question is how do I maintain hair length and also try to keep most of it at equal length?
