EKONGKING: More private players are thrown under the bus with no end at sight . If petrol sold at 550 naira and with lesser demand and still queues are returned ,we are in deep shit .
Buhari has really destroyed Nigeria .
Southern Nigerian politicians follow World Bank and IMF guidelines ,while Northern politicians follow the old soviet guidelines of shutting down borders and other communist ideas etc .
The correct path way is to follow fellow developing Asian countries like India, Indonesia ,Thailand, Vietnam and their development model to at least get to their level .China is too far ahead to even mention in Nigerian context .
India has the biggest refinery in the world and one small city in western India (population of 400,000) has more than refining capacity than Metro Houston which is the worlds energy capital .While India imports 80 percent of crude to process .
But you hardly hear it . The western Media dont want you to hear about it as they want to continue western hegemony or so called rules based orders . They tried with China during their Rise in 2000s and as China is under single party rule and strict censorship ,that game didnot work out .
Africans exposed to western media and their narrative believe them .
The reason for this long post is Nigerian politicians and economists should stop ass licking western or soviet model of development and start focusing on ASIAN model . The whole world economy is shifting gradually to Asia .
We need to learn lessons from China ,India ,Indonesia, Vietnam etc and remix the ASIAN MODEL to African settings for better prosperity . You forgot Singapore too |

I still suspect yinka odumakin's death till tomorrow. Coupled with the fact that he even died in a government hospital at the height of Covid.
His wife since 2015 had withdrew from politics and faced her farm squarely and their radio station,Petals FM in Ibadan. I unfollowed the wife 2016 or thereabout because I was surprised with her silence during the early days of the Buhari administration. People who wanted fire to come down on the GEJ administration now looking the other way during Buhari
But Uncle Yinka was still throwing at all cylinders till he passed away as the National Publicity secretary of Afenifere.
May his soul continue to rest in peace |

Finally someone is saying it the way I have been saying all these while
Between the Igbo and Yoruba,There is no other tribe in Nigeria that has intertribal marriage between both of them. They are in the SW doing well and doing good with nobody threatening them.
They date themselves, fvcck themselves, marry, haven't had any case of riot between them ever. They do businesses and they are their greatest customers. Yoruba and Igbo.
Do we have Igbos who don't like Yoruba's Capital YES
Do we have Yoruba's who don't like Igbo's s. Capital Yes
But are they that pronounced as such? NO.
Offline we are all friends but online you think they have ever had a genocide against each other
The foundation of all of these is Tinubu himself. Who discovered that the Igbo in Lagos for example always want to vote for the opposition which is the PDP that is why he decided to play ethnic politics.
From statements of the Oba of Lagos saying he will throw Igbo people into the lagoon if they don't vote for the APC. Or anybody will tell me they don't have any right to vote for a candidate of their choice?
The average Igbo Man and Yoruba are friends but politicians are the one causing this heavy ethnic rife and hate |

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has disclosed that late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, began vomiting and developed goosebumps after he was injected three times by a nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, on September 12, 2023.
The Lagos CP disclosed this at a press briefing on Friday at the state Command headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos.
Owohunwa was giving preliminary reports of investigation conducted by the police team to unravel the circumstance that led to the death of Mohbad.
“As of today, a total of 26 witnesses have been interviewed,” the CP said.
He said those interrogated include Mohbad’s father, mother, sisters, brother, wife and manager among several others.
The CP said Mohbad was brought in dead to the hospital, and he was certified dead by doctors on duty on September 12.
According to the CP, the nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, who was invited by Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq aka Spending, to inject the singer at his residence, administered three injections believed to have led to the chain of reactions that eventually led to the singer’s death.
“Mohbad began vomiting and developed goosebumps after the injections,” Owohunwa said. https://punchng.com/breaking-mohbad-vomited-developed-goosebumps-after-three-injections-cp/?amp

Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by happney65: 2:00pm On Oct 05, 2023 |
IjeBos: This is a misunderstanding of all this. Yes, you are right that Trump as speaker will cause havoc for the country. But in terms of an election, it will help Biden. Right now Biden is the incumbent, so Trump can "run" as the "outsider". The minute he takes a speakership role, he'll be equally responsible for legislating. And then Biden can compare and contrast leadership styles. Trump lost in 2020 because he was chaos incarnate; watch the chaos that ensues as Speaker, like shutting down the government. In terms of what's good for the country, the Dems would hate it, but in terms of pure politics, it's a Godsend for Dems.
Also, Republicans won the house in the midterms by flipping Dem held seats and through extreme Republican Gerrymandering. The courts have reversed some of that gerrymandering. Such that, based on the seats the Republicans won in 2022, going into 2024 just based on the court ordered district changes, they would lose the House. Now add the fact that they will now be competing for those seats in a General Election? They'll most likely lose the flipped seats as well. Why you ask? There is a greater turnout in General Elections where people are voting for President. And those people that turnout, generally just vote for the same Party as their Presidential pick(a lot of people don't spend the time to research each candidate). So, flipped House seats in Dem districts in a state like NY will most likely look different in 2024 with a greater turnout given Biden and Trump will be on the ticket. And ask yourself, do you think Trump is going to fare well in a state like NY? But if there is chaos. A long government shutdown. Biden's plans being shredded in the house. It will affect the economy. And the voters always look at their pockets. If things go wrong, they won't blame the house. They won't blame Trump, they will blame the presidency that is why if the nominate Trump or any of the crazy Maga loonies it will be extremely extremely bad for Biden Maybe you should look at it from that angle too |

PDPGuy: When you consider Trump’s popularity amongst Republican voters, the House GOP may have no choice but to amend their rules to accommodate a Trump Speakership Thank you. That was what I was saying all these while. You and I know how popular Trump is among the republicans and if their primary were to be held today he would win hands down. So if they nominate him as speaker you think he might not be made speaker? That was why I was saying leaving McCarthy there is better. A Trump speakership or any of those crazy loonies will be so hard for Biden he will regret the day he was born.. The case will be like that of Nigeria replacing GEJ with Buhari We wait and see |
