This was a PDP versus an APC Federal government. So what is now stopping over 12 years of the APC at the federal and at the state for it not to have been done..

The president does not decide what official acts are. The Constitution of the United States of America does, and it clearly states when a president shall leave office.

But the constitution was clear on the transfer of power which Trump told his supporters to go and "Stop the steal" Isn't it? Did they not? Did Trump not try to stop it?

If Pence had been killed that night by the mob,do you think the peaceful transfer of power would happen?

But as raumdeuter suggested, I would think that Judge Chutkin (of the DC District Court) would likely find that Trump, asking a Secret Service agent to assassinate a rival candidate for president, would fall under “unofficial acts”.

And if he says "Killing a political opponent is the best for America and saying he is a threat to America and can be classified under official acts"

E.G, A Trump that didn't want to leave power or asked his supporters to invade the Capitol.
