I don't know if you watch a video where Atiku admitted that the 16 bn dollars that they spent on power was a waste. I saved the video in case you might want to watch it. A certain category of core northerners have anyways think they own Nigeria. They are the ones with the born to rule mentality. They want to be in power always. They see and feel the south as a conquered territory they should always rule over.

They did the same thing to Obasanjo. In 2023, they introduced sharia and brought out Buhari as northern candidate. OBJ simply rigged them out in the south.

They did same to Jonathan. They escalated the terrorism that started under Yar’adua. Jonathan wasn’t really smart politically. He responded by failing to keep the agreement he had with the power brokers that supported him in 2011. He further alienated Obasanjo who paved the way for his presidency and completely neglected the south west. So, it was easy to booth him out in 2015.


The same born to rule elements in the north have gathered against Tinubu as usual. They just can’t stomach the idea of being ruled by a southerner. They are looking towards a willing partner in Peter Obi to help them boot out the incumbent Southern president. Unlike Jonathan, Tinubu is also a master of the game. Just like Obasanjo in 2003, he will play it very rough and dirty with them. Nigeria doesn’t belong to the north and we shall make that statement very clear to them in 2027.

See all these are stories. I'm not denying the fact that the North doesn't want power to leave and some of what you said is factual.

However this time around,that can't work. When it came.to the turn of the south,you and I knew it wasn't even the turn of the SW. However it has happened,that's politics. But why didn't we get a competent southerner and not a Tinubu who isn't competent one bit and only play tribal politics

See, Tinubu is not Obasanjo. Tinubu will even struggle to win the SW in 2027. If things continue this way, Believe me,there will be a huge voter apathy even in the SW.

Obasanjo was able to galvanized the entire South and the middle Belt to win a second term. I mean Buhari started his 12Million votes under the then ANPP in 2003. But Obasanjo did well. The Economy grew. People started having more money in their pockets. It was a period of "Gbemu" remember Obasanjo took minimum wage from 700naira to 3000 and before he left it was 7500 which civil servants started calling "gbosa"

Civil servants started living well and even the general populace with the introduction of GSM and the banking sector reforms.

Ṣee,If Tinubu had done well,by now the entire South will be behind him. But Man is as incompetent as Buhari and even worst than him. I should be happy that a fellow yoruba Man is in power but our pockets are getting lean and people are much more poorer. Noo,Haba.

And that is why since 99, Obasanjo is still the best we got. Doesn't play tribal politics unlike Tinubu. Baba is an all rounder. The only thing we can accuse Obasanjo of is election rigging. Apart from that, Tinubu or others after him cannot lace his shoes

So my advise for Tinubu is this,make the economy better,if it is,there will be better talking points and not propaganda
