Look guy....I'm a Ghanaian but born in Nigeria ......just left GH about a week ago......my brother Ghana hard pass Sudan the economy is messed up and the cost of living is expensive compared to Nigeria ....utility bills went up to like 25% I use 10cedis from 6 pm to 7am the next morning which is almost 9k.....water bill nko.....transportation a liter of fuel is 3cedis 90p....that's like 300 naira ....look take it from me I've being in GH for 7 years Ghana is more messed up than Nigeria presently........the only thing you'll enjoy in Ghana is cheap call and data rates that's all any other thing nah zero

I used to comment as rubyz but lost my phone so haven't been here for a while. It's a BFP o, after so many fearful doctors report, HSG, fibroids, adhesions; failed ovulation induction with tracking, so many medications God has liberated me from TTC of 3yrs.

When the Lord turned around the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

WIDD
I sincerely cannot place my hands on anything special I did, wasn't taking folic acid. I didn't even follow my cycle, until I started feeling abdominal cramps.

I took dostinex for a month in July.

I and dh took antibiotics for yeast infections last month.

We shared books to children going back to school at the beginning of September.

3 days midnight prayers and generally I relaxed more. Went out, had fun with dh.

I was booked for a laparoscopy, was waiting for AF b4 I do it. After 2 days of not seeing AF I did the test yday and it's a BFP.

Mamas help me thank this God who showed up when I was weak, unexpectant and tired. Instead of laparoscopy, am going for antenatal and will bring forth safely by His grace. Praise God

Lord I pray for my TTC sisters, please show up on their behalf, bypass every protocol for their sake and fill their homes with joy. Flood this place with BFPs, I pray thee o Lord in Jesus name amen.

God is great.
I just woke up about 20 mins ago to the shouts of our neighbor, asking us to come downstairs out of our house, as our house was on fire. (@2:13am)
I don't know I managed to hear the shouts from my sleep.
I quickly waked dh, and my household, we rushed downstairs.
Lo and behold, our change over/meter was engulfed with fire. This is a house we just packed Into about 1 week ago.
Dh quickly went to the car, got the fire extinguisher, and put out the fire.
What if the fire engulfed the exit door (as the change over is situated at our front pouch) or spread out to the ceiling.
Funny, I have been having this feeling of dread or trepidation for the past 3 days. Anytime I felt like that, I will just pray, plead the blood of Jesus, or just do the sign of the cross, yet the feeling continued.
Guess, this was the battle God was fighting for me spiritually.
Pls join me thank Master Jesus, for saving I and my family from a fire outbreak.

Also, as a woman, our instincts is like our compass. Do not take it for granted.
Whenever you feel somehow, pray about it. Even if you can't explain what you feel. The God that understands what ever ilthat may be going on at that particular moment, will fight for you.

Gud Mor. A job well done for all ur effort in dis platform. May God in his infinite mercy reward you. Pls my own case seems different. I usually have a very, I mean very painful menstural pain for years, so I was diagonised of fibroid which I went for the operation last year. After the operation den I demanded to see war was removed from the doctor. Den my hubby had to explain to Wats really happening dt my whole has bin affected. Dt the fibroid has taken over my womb. Have done series of hormonal profile test which result shows am ok. Pls Wat do u think I can take to shrink dat fibroid so dt I can conceive. Cos AV taken diff tins all to no avail. Wld appreciate if my request can be granted. Thk u.

Yes mama...also google up "myomectomy-what to do before and after surgery". You need to know things to take along. Toileteries n the likes..
like prepare to take along slacks, very loose gown and not pants so that you can be free down there. . Then food. You cant eat for like 2 days so..just let your dh get pap or flakes - I became conscious of things to eat because fibroids do regrow so I got foods high in fibre (I took along kelloggs all Bran). Your doctor will tell you when to eat.though. something soft. All the best.

Thank you mama...Hmmm...Okay...I was thinking south shore womens clinic before but when we got there their fee was killing! I cannot come and kill dh oo

I had been seeing this gynae for awhile and he is a consultant for private hospitals
So, he suggested a place around Lekki to us.

Tests taken before the surgery;
HSG, Sonogram, blood tests - genotype, blood matching/compatibility(dh gave blood),' rhesus, etc. (this depends on the docs like what they feel the individual needs).

An Epidural anesthetic was done. I felt nothing! No pain, no sensation from my chest down. It was an eerie feeling. The Anesthesiologist must have been an Angel.. He told me how he did general practice for over 12 years and going back for another 8 years for anesthetics.He certainly knew his onions..He was so professional yet warm at the same time..He held my hand allthrough and kept doing his job while wispering into my ear of how his wife had fibroid and how they removed it and now she is a mom of 4 great kids..That really kept my hope alive!

The hospital is a small place but they sure knew what they were doing with the help of God ofcourse..a total of 5 doctors were on me and they were so cool and funny. They even had my dh tell them how we met..Lol..and then they would ask me, madam is that true? And I would have to talk. - Actually it didnt feel like a surgery ..felt like they were just examining my body while I laid down because the whole atmosphere was peaceful, warm and friendly. The incision was horizontal and very thin line that's healing nicely.

On the cost o- maybe each person would differ but I would say budget around 600k. Like I said earlier, the place is small but the team on me knew what they were doing. The hospital is "Family Care Medical Centre" (Its an NGO - I'm sure some of us have heared of them before)

NOTE: the lead surgeon is a Consultant there hence he is not a residential doc.But I'm sure they can arrange that. I feel so comfortable with the man ehn..I mean first time I saw him, he took one look at me and knew I needed surgery..and He is so funny..He makes you look at your problem as a small ish...the other gynae (Dr. Hugo Davvy) is the perfect gynae a woman could possibly have..He listens! Even to every of my crazy thoughts - all the online reaserch I did he listened and didnt think I was crazy.. And thats what counts.

I would advise that we read up online and have ample idea about what we want to do so that we can ask informed questions..it helps when you have read ahead about it..It helps you to better understand what the doctors are saying.

Message:

First thing first, so the saying goes. As a believer in Christ, when you come before God’s presence, the most important person is not you but Him. Also, unlike most of us believe, at God’s Throne of Grace, the most important thing is not you request, but rather the worship you offer to Him. If you fail to get this right, and you fail to adjust your approach and attitude to reflect this truth, you will always have issues with God. Do you know that every time you approach God’s presence, it is like facing a test? Believe it or not, when you come before God, there are two crucial people at the meeting: God and you. One of these two must take pre-eminence. Similarly, God has a need and you also have a need; one of these two needs; one of these two needs must be more important.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”                                                                                                                                               Matthew 6:33

This scripture tells us about a divine order that must be followed. It also talks about God’s need and man’s need. It tells us that God has already provided for all man’s needs. In other words, God already has all you would need at any time in your life. For you to receive them, all that He requires from you is to simply meet His needs. Give Him what He wants. Put Him first and your needs last. Give Him quality thanks, praise and worship. When you follow Heaven’s protocol, you will easily receive a favorable answer to your requests. God expects you to come before His presence with thanksgiving, praise and worship, leaving your request as the last thing. Do you know that one way to know how important something really is to you is to measure the amount of time you give to it? When you pray for one hour and you use 50 minutes of the time presenting your request, you are telling God that you and your request are more important than him and Hos desires. How do you think this makes God feel? In any case, He has already expressed His thoughts about this in 1 Samuel 2:30, where He said:

 

“for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”

Also, what you focus on becomes magnified. If you focus on your problems, they will be enlarged. But if you focus on God and what He wants, He will be magnified to the extent that your problems will fade into insignificance. By the time you eventually remember them, you would discover that they have been swallowed up by His Almightiness, leaving you with the answer to your prayers.

I have gotten my BFP, God is awesome. I confirmed it on Tuesday but waited before announcing because my DH wasn't around but he came back yesterday and we didn't sleep because of excitement and we stayed up to appreciate this wonderful gift God has bestowed upon us. Please my sabi mama's help me appreciate this God because he is too good to us.

From the 11th of May drugs that I used, i saw most of them here on tv thread and I decided to just to them to help my body prepared.

The HSG was done to check my Fallopian tubes if they were blocked or opened and to the Glory of God the result came out good * tubes were opened*
*** it is advisable to go for HSG after surgery ***

I was given *Ferrous , folic acid, ibuprofen, paracetamol and Amoxicillin clavulanic and some were for 5days while the longest I took the drugs was 14days after the surgery.
I was told to always clean the wound with spirit twice a day.

From the 11th of May was it your doctor that those medications for yourself and hubby?
Why did you go for the HSG in June ?
After ur operation what medications whereally you given?

1ST WIDD

First and foremost, i give God all the glory, honour and adoration cos it can only be by his grace and power alone.

Back to the things i have being doing before my BFP.

I bought pregnacare, solotone, ovaCare, B6, vitamin E, multivitamin tablets, folic acid, vit Bcomplex and Ferrous just to prepare my body, i also bought Wellman conception and Immunace for DH to take and he only took it for one month and stop. I started taking my own on the 11th of May this year.

On the 5th of June i went to the hospital to see a new gyaen and she prescribe drugs for me which includes OVABOOST, DHEA (to improve my egg quality) and BROMOCREPTINE (for high prolactin) to take for 3 months.

I did HSG on the 14th to check if my tubes and as God would have it, it was open, but i couldn't see the Dr again reason being that she travelled out . I went to their Ikeja breach to see the Dr that did the myomectomy for me and when he check my HSG result, he said it was okay but that i have to wait for my Gyaen to come back and continue. that was how the waiting continued ooooooooo.
while i was waiting for my gyaen to come back, i came across Dazzel86 post where she said she took m2tone before getting her bfp, omo my mind told me to try it out and see if it will work moreover their is no harm in trying out new things. I decided to buy it and i started taking it religiously and nothing happened that month for me, but AF came out that month without me noticing because i didn’t have any pains or sign that it was coming self, but i still continued taking it.

What i did in the month of Aug/ Sept.

* I took YOYO bitters during AF.

*Af showed for the month of august, a day after Af i took banana and baking soda recipe (2banana, 2raw eggs, 1peak milk,1teaspoon BICARBONATE OF SODA) Blend all together smoothly with a blender n drink all on an empty stomach after your period.

* I remembered chatting with mummykytr concerning how to increase ewcm and veejay wetness and she said i should use baking soda, which made me to look for our able mama fvine post on how to increase ewcm, which made me to do Baking Soda Finger (during ovulation period and when i want the place to be very wet) and Lemon in warm water first thing in the morning. (my colleague that saw me taking it said that I should stop taking lemon according to her it is not good for ttc)

* Itissettled3, posted that anyone that is interested in going for Holy ghost service (Friday 1st Sept) should PM her, which i did and that was my first time of going for Holy Ghost service and it was specially for ttc couple.

*From RCCG camp i decided to go to MFM (Saturday 2nd Sept) for Power Most Change Hands and truly power really changed hands in my life all thanks God. itissettled3 thank you for dropping me off at MFM gate that day, my God will bless you richly for me.

* On Wednesday 6th of Sept i went to the MFM close to my area in the evening for Manna water service and i bought pack of bottled water and the GO prayed on it, when i got home i told DH that this is the water that we will be drinking from today. (the last bottle @home finish on Monday 18th because we don't even take it all the time)

* I continued with my olive oil that was bless on 1st and 2nd of this month. i kept on robbing it on my stomach and praying at the same time.



PLEASE I FORGOT TO ADD SPERM LEAKAGE
Everyday i and dh bd sperm will just pour out and it will even be on the bed, not once not twice but everyday.
We only did dog*gy style ones.
I never believed that some will still be inside.
