Most of those schools educated people from all over Nigeria without prejudice to their origin.
Very true. At No. 36 on the list stands Aggrey Memorial College. Beyond being my school of tutelage, many a genius and men of iron passed through that school from various parts of this formerly great corntree

Hmmm..... I thought I was the only one! ... I have very close friends and relatives there ... always trying to convince me to visit... but for the same reasons I wouldn't!... can't recall seeing a photo of a bright and sunny day... like always overcast ... gloomy ... snowing or raining!... and the people seems to have no joy in their life! ... seems depressing to me! I'm not one bit surprised by what is mentioned in this post!
Lol. This my last trip in May this year has been the only time I saw daylight and brightness that extended into night. All my other trips I have always flown into dark gloomy weather which sort of continues all day round. Funny country indeed.

Do you know how many Nigerians travel regularly to the UK and come back without staying there, what are you talking about get a visa first. Before this current japa trend Jandon(London) was just a Lagos extension that people go and come back in days.
My last trip about two weeks ago was the longest I have stayed because I did not travel alone and it was personally sponsored. We spent 6 days and left on the 7th. Typically when my office funds my trip, I have never stayed beyond 3 days (even though my MD will be encouraging me to spend a little bit more time)

Travelling is not exactly a biggie and I can understand if anyone has a kind of negative feeling about the UK. My experience has taught me that they are some of the most unfriendly people you could ever meet (except perhaps you move further to like Birmingham, Manchester, etc). I recall trying to ask a few guys at Chancery lane where I could convert some dollars to pounds ( I had exhausted what I changed at Travelex when I touched down), the guys just dismissed me and at the same moment went their different ways. I learnt to always be self sufficient and never ask anyone for direction. I learnt the train routes by force and had sometimes ended up in the opposite direction of where I intended. Always ensuring my oyster card is loaded above 50pounds on the regular to avoid stories. London Sha no be am at all.

A fire destroyed a building that housed a church in Rumuosi yesterday, leaving residents in shock. Instead of calling the fire service, two women stood outside praying intensely for the fire to stop. shocked

The women, who were seen with their hands raised and their faces soaked in tears, are believed to be members of the church. They continue to pray and chant, hoping for a miraculous intervention to save their place of worship.

Some admire the women's faith, while others believe practical action was needed alongside prayers. The cause of the fire is still unknown.

We don't need to wait until 3 years more to see the failure staring at us Anya Anya.

They say na from the smell of fart, you go know how the real poopoo go be.
Nigerians are going through pains, deep pains right now.
May God continue to punish everyone that foisted this government on us and also those that are still supporting this government even at this point.
It's not about tribe and religion or party, it's about competence. Even if a goat is competent or deemed competent, we as a people should have voted for it and not support a man who obviously has come to steal, kill and destroy Nigeria. Cluelessness of the highest order

You guys are protesting for the wrong things

What we need is for labour to protest about what the Senators and members of government earn as allowances

It is the redistribution of that money that will enable government pay whatever workers want as minimum wage

Otherwise, they will keep claiming they can't afford the minimum wage and playing the workers ojoro.

Unfortunately, our labour leaders lack sincerity of purpose.
