You are wrong.

Download the The National Anthems Act 2024 to see the offences and penalties under it.
Please can someone come and arrest me? I sang the NA as a paramilitary in training and interestingly I know both the old and the new NA (at least their first stanza each) but have vowed to never sing them again given the situation Nigeria has foisted on us. It will be exciting to be arraigned in court for refusing to sing (I will stand if required) and let's see how the law will be interpreted.

I presently work for a corporate entity.

Nigerians have a poor sense of humor and will never recognize sarcasm when one stares them right in the face.

Make una try dey loosen up small.

Take life a little less too serious.
Nigeria and its circumstances and situation does not encourage sarcasm, at least not now.

Okay thanks for the enlightenment, I suspect so too , but I am sadden that we are quick to replace our ancestral heritage with people who took us as slaves own ...and technically still enslaving us ...
Honestly there is still no justification or defence for deliberately and consciously playing second fiddle. No reason whatsoever justifies removing our ancestral traits for those of the men who came with cunning and treachery to kill, main and take our forebears away in chains. Same people that stole our carvings and artifacts and use them in making money at various galleries from visitors to their homelands yet back here we see those works of art as evil. I am ashamed of my own people

Just pray that the receiver should be a person with a good heart......

Someone did the same thing to my banny last month, but she was kind enough to send the money back to the sender after she was called.

Fortunately, the sender happened to be a neighbor of mine whom my banny do not know...

So,op, just pray.....Cuz no be everybody get evil heart.
I had a similar experience recently. The sum was 50K. I was made to fill an indemnity form while my account officer kept reaching out to the unintended beneficiary. In the meantime, a lien was placed on the 50K so he/she couldn't even have used it. Eventually the sum was returned to me after about 1 month or so. It is typically more difficult if it is interbank. Mine was intrabank so it wasn't that stressful. My suggestion to OP is to formally inform his bank and if he is not getting traction, involve CBN and perhaps FCCPC. With lots of heat, the recipient will budge. In anycase he won't even spend the money as a lien will be placed on it if reported immediately
Politics › Re: Another Court Orders Emir Sanusi’s Eviction, State High Court Stops Enforcement by hardbody: 3:29pm On May 29, 2024
francisobiabo:
It's obvious without mentions that the State High Court has and enjoys original jurisdiction on chieftaincy and traditional related affairs.
Often times, jurisdictional drags are ways to delay and to water down the import of any case what so ever.
Again, we need not to be schooled on why the Fed High Court entertain this case at hand.
The rift or scuttle that brought in the Fed High Court is the place or role of Kano State House of Assembly. Mind you, the Fed High Court entertains issues involving the Executive and the House of Assemblies at State levels,,, ( sorry I did not make available the Constitutional provisions).
Hence the role played by the Fed High Court as necessitated by the situation in hand.
Be this as it may, I think our judiciary and courts need to be call to order. Two coordinate Courts must never go into drag on the same issue such as this.
You have addressed my issues in part and we are on all fours on what has transpired. They should just stop embarrassing my profession and as ministers in the temple of justice, we should stop making justice available to the highest bidder. We have become a laughing stock to even inconsequential entities.

The Courts (Fed & State) are of COORDINATE JURISDICTION, as it, Politics is what is been played here.
I see nothing serious save Tinubu, trying to use Kano state to distract people's focus and attention from his woeful performance in the last one year....
I am very well aware that they are of coordinate jurisdiction however which of these two courts have original exclusive jurisdiction to entertain matters of kingship and emirship, etc and is it true that there has been a judgment/ruling by one of those courts before now and if yes, was the decision appealed or overtaken by effluxion of time? Why are we then having a litany of conflicting decisions between both courts?

At a time such as this, I am ashamed of my legal profession. This is sad. Jurisdiction shouldn't be such a difficult issue to address between the Federal High Court and the state High Court. Where did these lawyers learn their own lawhuh

It started with Kwakwanso (when he was APC governor of Kano). The original heir to the throne was not even Emir Lamido Sanusi or Emir Aminu Bayero to begin with. The original heat was Sanusi Bayero, elder brother of Emir Aminu Bayero 👇

Mercisharelove:
Hello all, my family and I witnessed a scene from the window around 1:30 am to 2:45 am today and I have decided to share so that we all keep guard.

Someone intentionally left a baby, wrapped in a white cloth right in front of our gate. The baby cried for over 30 minutes, and it stopped crying. A guy in black, hiding behind our wall, crawled to hit the baby again to cry. When they realized no one was coming out to check on the baby, he crawled to carry it off the road and in a few minutes, a taxi came and they went away.

We called the contact number of our neighbour, we asked if he had seen anything of that sort around his house and he informed us that, it's a new strategy of armed robbers and that his elder brother was robbed last week using the same method.
Let's all be guarded.
Pls, inform your friends and family, Thank you.
May God continue to guard and protect us all.
The silhouette of that man doesn't look like he is a Nigerian or in a Nigerian environment.

The former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka this morning called it a highway to no-where. APC supporters won't see reason as to why that should be so. That guy explained in granular details how a better alternative could have been to enlarge the roads we already have and add additional portions at a cheaper cost and achieve a more effective result in a more efficient manner.
