Education › OAU Management Suspends Vice-president And Social Director Of Student Union by hardeybowaley(op): 10:10am On Sep 09, 2017

The Vice Chancellor of the University just confirmed the indefinite suspension of the Vice President and Director of Socials of our Union over the altercation that occurred between the duo. The VC confirmed this in a telephone conversation but we are still waiting for their letters.

We want to assure the generality of Great Ife students that negotiation over their immediate reinstatement has commenced as the work of restoring peace in the Union continues.

We understand that Great Ife students are not happy with the current state of things but we shall get it right soonest. We encourage all the parties involved in the current imbroglio to think beyond now and be ready to make peace with each other.
