Pr0ton: @ HARDUBUY.. You had better interpret Matt 5:17 with understanding and stop fooling yourself.. The law Jesus was talking about there was not the law of commandments. He was talking about what the law, prophets and psalm said concerning Him and which He needed to fulfil (His coming, sufferings&death) Deut 18:15 for example. After His resurrection He reminded His disciples about his fulfiling the law, prophets and psalms, check Luke 24:44.
And as for the laws the s.illy OP stated here, Rom 10:4 clearly declares that Christ has ended them and d only way to please God is your Faith in him, check Gal 3:24-26, Php 3:9.
The other rules stated by Paul in the NT is to control Christians live and never a must to be obeyed. They are just for our benefits. Paul himself stated in 1Cor 10:23 that everything is permissible. So who are you to question God's grace and will. Who are you to mock His unconditional love.

It is because of some people that do not really understand the bible that you are making such statements, these laws are called Mosaic Laws, that is the laws God gave to Moses to govern the Israelites, then later the bible made us know that Moses was a tutor leading to Christ and Christ is the tutor leading us to God. God used the Isrealites as his own special property because of Abraham, even he said to them that it not because they have something special that He has chosen them but because of the promise He made to Abraham. When Moses was alive the Christ has not yet arrived but later the Christ arrived and they rejected him and he rejected them also and instituted what is called a new covenant or agreement with his followers, this time everybody from all corners of the earth are allowed to be members, it is no longer limited to the Jews, with new rules, regulations and requirements, ie you no longer have to sacrifice an animal for atonement, all these dressing rules became a matter of conscience, that is why apostle Paul admonished us to dress MODESTLY,( there is no particular guideline in dressing modestly, it differs widely from place to place).

Hence, there is no compulsion in Islam. What i'm trying to say is that, u don't judge islam by the actions of muslims but rather by the teachings and tenents of the Nobel Quran. (although the teachings and etiquette of islam is suppose to reflect on muslims...bt u knw humans can be somehow...i mean africans). This, the christains don't know & will not listen but prefer to rely on media propaganda. As for the sudanese woman's case, its just sheer hatred frm the sudanese govt, which holds no legal/religious backing...hence, they couldn't have killed her even if she was a muslim that converted. Afterall, some muslims convert in other places around the world and we dont hear of any apostasy.(a sign that her case was unislamic and the 1st we've heard of).
