EDO STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, CHRIS EZIKE TURNS EDO PEOPLE TO ATM MACHINE (1):
The Coordinator General, Edo Civil Society Organisation, Comrade Omobude Agho responded to distress cries from Edo people who were raided at ASOTIME area, Ihama Street, GRA by the Monitoring Team directly under the Commissioner of Police.
There are over 200 persons arrested yesterday night over flimsy accusation of prostitution and cult related matters, majority of these persons went out to unwind after the day hustle.
It will also interest you to know that the State CID cells were filled up and some of the suspects taken to Area Command and Adesuwa Police Station for detention. The highlight of it all is that the suspects have been asked to secure their bail with as high as N50, 000.
The Questions we want Edo people to ask the CP are:
1. Is there curfew in Edo state?
2. Does he have the mandate to kill night life in Benin?
3. Is bail no longer free?
4. How can over 200 people be involved in prostitution and cult related issues in ASOTIME?
5. Is he not aware that a cult summit was held in Benin few years ago where the police was represented?
Our eyes are fixed on the Edo state Commissioner of Police based on his way and manner he is policing the state, just few days ago, he delved into a civil case detaining a woman for almost 7 days until we intervened.
CHRIS EZIKE MAY HAVE TO LEAVE EDO STATE FOR US, WE ARE NOT HIS ATM MACHINE.
WE WILL NO LONGER TAKE ANY OF THIS!
EZIKE MUST GO MASSIVE PROTEST LOADING..................................
