We had an argument few weeks ago and she was crying as usual, she was still pregnant then. But I noticed that she won't let me touch her before marriage which I think she was just trying to maintain her standard. She kept quiet and gave me incognito mode for a whole month only for her to return back this time around to resume her attitude of demanding. My last born brother however has been living with me and does all those works for me and doesn't give me stress at all. Instead, she's insisting that when we get married she doesn't want him around in my house. I also noticed that she's doesn't want people around me. She wants herself alone to handle anyone she finds in my life like my family members, friends etc. I tested her one day by asking her for 1k to pay for sth urgent and she quickly knocked it off and diverted topic. I lost my job since last year August and has been doing tailoring job to survive and she's very much aware. Now, I notice that anytime she comes to my house, she comes with lists of demands she writes on paper I must do for her. Sometimes I might work late into the night just to meet my financial target and that's exactly when she wants to see me. And if I take longer time that night to see her, she gets angry and when I still see her that night, it's always fresh sets of demands.

My mind has been telling me a lot of things. But am confused whether it's just me thinking out of point or something else or am blind. I have made commitments towards settling down with her and have even seen her people. I don't know what to do especially on the fact that my people have given me ultimatum that I must marry a woman this year.

I'm a first time maize farmer, and my maize farm is finally ready for Harvesting. Someone brought in some market women to harvest and buy today.

The rate at which this women purchased is so ridiculous that if I continue selling like this, I won't make what I spent on the project back, not to talk of profit.

It was actually painful because I didn't discuss price with them before they started harvesting, as I assumed the person who brought them already did the discussion, only for this women to come up with a ridiculous rate after harvesting. They claim there's now excess maize in the market.

Another buyer someone called for me offer even worse prices.

It appears they have a maize seller association, where they fix their buying prices.

I'm currently considering harvesting and taking to the market myself, because I'm sure I should be able to sell at X2 of their buying prices (their buying prices is currently between 40 - 55 Naira per Maize on Average, and I think I should be able to sell at 100 - 120 Naira per Maize at the market)

I can't leave the maize to dry because of the rate of rainfall we're currently experiencing.

Any Clue from experienced farmers?

I have this thing disturbing me and I just want your honest opinion. I work in a place currently that my female colleagues are something else.
What I mean is that they discuss and make sexual jokes and say saucy and obscene things when they come around me,both married and unmarried.

One of them was bold enough to ask me if I had ever had sex or have a girlfriend, she was so keen on that. The married ones also come around me and try to get me like give them money,asking me if I have a girlfriend and has 'knacked' before, they say all manner of sexual stuff around me waiting for my reply which I don't reply in that same vein,I either scold them or leave their midst,but to me that isn't the first time I am having women talk so boldly about sex around me.

I remember one showing me even sex positions on her phone and asking which one do I like and have I done, and this lady can hardly let me be,though engaged to another man who is outside the country, this was in my former workplace.

In my service year as I corper,I have to intentionally lock my door from allowing my female neighbours and Corpers come into my room because I have two in my compound then discuss about sex brazenly and asking me if I had ever had it.

I don't know women could be so bold this way,I am still surprised that there are women who can make such randy jokes and have no qualms, I used to think that it is men that does it more,but from my experience I can say that most women are. I don't feel comfortable when I hear women make such jokes or say such things around me and to me I see such women as loose.

Please how can I handle these persons in my workplace without sounding abrasive or holier than thou.

sometimes I wonder how we reason in Africa, this country you mentioned manufacture these planes, it's like the getting a new vehicle from innoson, payment plan can be stretched, I don't see that happening here. Presidential plane is important no doubt, but it's not necessary at this point. That money can be used to solve a whole lot of problem that is brewing in the country.
