Capt. JH Miller:
What's this one saying?
If u dont understand let me break it up for u>>> i guess its too late for toefl registration means its not advisable to register for toefl now because it takes up to 3months before you get your result..........
secondly online registration for spring 2014 ends september 13th >>>>> i guess this is lucid enough, the online UAS spring registration ends on 13th of sept 2013.............. so in summary: my statement implies any toefl registration for bases of UAS spring app is worthless...... hope u get the gist now sad sad sad sad sad grin grin grin grin

the best advice i would give is that you go through the PNP and work your way through since as u said ''I'm a Professional Accountant and IT Certify
my Wife is a Professional Fashion Designer (Fabric Artist with Academic Qualification)'' ...........but first scrutinize this link and you will be fine http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/index.asp ..........in case any other questions kindly drop 'em here so other NL gurus can tackle it. godG: Oga, I'm beginning to doubt you too! Saw ur post on the "Traveling to Canada" thread, "Finland Visa" and now here. Only you! U now strike me as a desperate and confused guy. Where is your sincerity of purpose when you are being nebulous? If u can't be specific here, people will regard you as unserious. Olajesu and Imperiouxx are nice blunt guys smiley
im not nebulous buh only trying every possible best to be plain. yes i have been to canada thread and the likes because i also have flares for them despite my presence here, and that does not in any way makes me a confused guy.... i know Olajesu and Imperiouxx are nice blunt guys even you. thanks a million. wink

sweet-aquifer:
ok....mrs african chick, i must confess i like your blog and the amiable manner with which you express your views.....
That said, i will like your candid opinion on this issue. How much will you advice an intending african to have in stock(in dollars) before before going to the us or canada for a two years masters program. Lastly, for an average american university, how much would probably be the cost for tuition for a masters program..
hmmmmm this depends solely on ur intending course, ur university of choice and ur lifestyle(spending habits)... though im not in d US or CANADA of sought buh i atleast knw some few things i can share,, wink

1. Masters degree at universities in US would range from $8000- $15000 p.a(anybody can quote me wrong)
2. In terms of living expenses, i would advice you own an amount ranging from $6000- $10000(depends on you)
3. Masters degree at universities in CANADA would range from CAD6000 - CAD13000 0r more( highly depending on your sch, course and UG cgpa for purpose of subsidy grin)
4. In terms of living expenses, meennnhhhh it varies in canny oooo like i knw its cheaper in alberta compared to ontario and some other province... just be sure to have enough and put the mind-set of 'work n live' behind u so as to scale thru.
....................................................................................just my 2 cents wink
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by Harmony222(m): 7:54am On Sep 15, 2013
OlaJesu18: Okay I don't really get you, are you saying you want to come into US with a B1 Visit Visa then change to a student when you get here? I'm sorry but I don't think that's ever possible. The school needs you to have an F1 or J1 to study.
I doubt if you are a genuine university student anyway.
just try and understand me here............. yes i intend going with a B1 then eventually change my status to an F1 visa within my B1 validity period as i have read from their website... and u dont need to doubt my studentship just because i posted something unfamiliar to you on this thread....

richard4ssky: Ok thanks i need answer to my question cause my cgpa is 2:64, and also when can i apply for adminsion
let me start first by telling you that finnish universities charge tuition fee for some masters program and it ranges from EUR8000-12000 ......... this should give you an insight of what you are going for and check for their requirements

richard4ssky: dear nairaland,

Please i want to find out if adminsion is going on now in finland for a master degree program, and do they accept some one with a 2.2 degree and if yes what are the document i need for adminsion..... And i also hop i don't need to write tofel......
lol u dey run from toefl?

what i can say on this is that i know most of their Masters program dont require toefl but be sure ur cgpa is above3.0/5.0 or equals......

i will leave the floor now for more experience ppl like ''batteryempty'' et al to tidy up ur issue. my 2cents wink wink

godG: I'm sure your belief that there is some1 there who can sponsor you contributed to your not-so-encouraging CGPA( please pardon me) Really, this is a gr8 chance for u. However, you need not disregard your current academic pursuit. Sh**t happens. Bro, a bird at hand is worth more than ten in d bush. Ma le eku meji lekan na. Please, put in ur best in ur current studies and also talk to the woman on the possibility of being invited. Why not chill and finish ur BSC (even if na pass u go carry comot, it is worth it.) See, face ur studies as if you have got no hope in life; talking from experience. Apparently, you cannot be admitted to most schools again this year. That one year won't kill you. However, if you are thinking that the woman could change her mind, tell her to send u an invitation and start afresh when you get there. My point is lucid enough: don't disregard your status now; should the woman disappoint u, that is all you have got. +Pray, Hope and don't worry. Blessed is the man who put not his trust in man. Pray for God's favour. #My 2kobo lasan ni o, I could be wrong. **cycles away
thanks alot for your contribution..... i really appreciate ur words.
i will try and do as u have said ''Pray, Hope and don't worry''.

OlaJesu18: My best advice is for you to finish in Nigeria before venturing into coming to the States. I mean you've got only a year left in your university education so why rush and those VO's might have problem with a 300 level who wants to transfer. Just get good CGPA and apply for graduate school stuff. A word is enough for .......
thanks for your swift reply.........buh what about the option for going through visit visa route would i be granted cos i thought laying the fact that am a 300level student would serve as a strong tie between me and my country which might convince the VO, then after getting it by God grace i would apply for a change of status(am just saying) to be eligible to start a new program there(am not satisfied with my current gpa am not sure i will graduate with a 3.0/5.0, i know what am saying)...... please i need strong advice cos my head is way too scattered now that i cant think straight.. please dont mind my confusing issue. God bless

That it gives one d opportunity to have a permanent resident stay in canada. that it has age limits of max of 27yrs old. And u will have to send affidavit with ur documents with 3 notary public stamps and signature on each affidavit
This is very true..................but my research is still on to know the exaact thingy...... my sisters friend called ogorchukwu got the opportunity to travel to canada with her family the year 2007, now they are all citizens of CA....... buh the thing is that its not lottery kind of buh something like it as she refuses to reveal the secret....... nobody wan cast am.

For me I always say the first prep. towards applying to a Finnish UAS is to write a language test, TOEFL or IELTS, make sure u have an O'level certificate or its equivalent too. Honestly, all dis requirements can be found on any of the USA's website

You can as well PM me for more rapport as I don't come here often.
