You probably got him wrong, that's definitely annual emolument. 55k per annum or 5.5k per month sounds more like it. Btw why are you interested in how much he earns?
ok... Cos it sounded too good to be true

It's stated on the immigration website that to avoid delays medicals could be done before visa lodgement, the medicals lapse for a year if I'm not wrong.
Did mine today couple of hours ago @ Dr Fatayi Williams clinic, pretty cool and fast, easy afterwards referred to St Nicholas 10mins behind the streets for X-ray, took less than 10mins... I'll suggest it be done if January or February is the applicants prospective date.
pls wats d cost of it?

YWLC bro, Still on medical ish which is to take 8 weeks, my school is Canberra University (CU). Why start over, would advise you go for msc in your new area of interest, if i were you i will be looking into petroleum engineering or occupational health and safety related course.. no hazzles
i chose to start afresh because of the demeaning nature of my university (i hated d sch frm day one), a new start will enlarge my horizon n increase my exposure on handling acada work in a more matured manner. Bou this app tingy, how do i go bou it cos am a bit confused on the steps to take. My sponsor is an australian citizen.

there is no cause for fear. u still have enough time, COE issuance is
quick and SVP usually takes about 2wks if u go for medicals before applying.
bro is it adviceable to go for medicals before applying? Thought COs in pretoria will make the decision first

I wouldn't know if you can apply there because I met Jemila @ the consulate in VI. She got admission when she traveled to see her Sister(a catholic Nun) in Italy with a visitor's VISA.
She had to follow the process of legalizing, translating etc and also applied for VISA.
She got the student VISA anyway.
If you're in Italy presently, I think you can ask people around you or the school you intend you do your graduate study.
Best wishes!!!

means she( Jemila) came back to nigeria to apply for the student visa or how? @pelumiv, if thats possible yes then i hv to do d DOV as u hv said, n also d aim is student visa nt tourist visa... thanks for all input, btw* m stl in nigeria.

@pelumiv can answer some of your questions
Living expenses varies e.g As a stu in pavia, you won't spend more than €13/yr on transportation.
If you cook by yourself, you won't spend more than €
35. Also if you're unable to get accommodation on campus, you can get shared apartment @ €200/month.
A friend in Milan pays €400/month.
There are jobs buh when you see your work load, you won't think of the job buh the primary aim of traveling which is "study".
It is very possible to apply for M.Sc while on visit but remember you have to legalize your documents and you need to apply for another class of VISA because Stu VISA(class) is different from visitor.
I hope this piece is helpful.

means i can apply for a student visa while in italy on visitors visa? i hv to read through previous post again to get acquainted with legalization processing.... btw, thanks for your input.. others with contrary view can comment also, pls.

Nice thread here, great questions n replies, have been following like a ghost n been able to digest abt 80pct of it. Before i ask my bit i would like to bring to the notice of all prospective candidate;
going abroad is surely a good thing mostly when its on a study basis buh we often fail to weigh out stumbling blocks one may encounter in process, having read through i came to realise none has cared to inquire of the living expenses, like what is the monthly living budget for student, are students allowed to work like in other countries and if they do what is the allowed time, what is the italian average wage, these questions i believe when answered vividly can give a more narrowed view of what to prepare n expect.
Now my question is, if one is invited for visit by a distant relation who is an italian citizen. is it possibe for that person to apply for masters study when he gets there? Got thes uni on list n they all have english medium wit ielts required.... Politecnico di milano, politecnico di torino and politecnico di bologna.. 3300euro tuition each (dunno of any reduction yet).

bossladyMo: Regional sponsored (provisional) visa

*Adds 10pts
*Must live, work and study in regional area of the sponsoring state
*Not a pr visa, but provides pathway to pr
*PR can be gotten after living in regional area for 2yrs, and working full time for1yr in any occupation
*Not entitled to medicare or centrelink benefits, until PR is gotten
*Valid for 4yrs
*It is a grey-area visa i.e it is not a temporary visa per se, but not a permanent visa either.

Ma please can you send me the materials u used in preparing for the ielts lemme start my own preparation nw so I can still have a shot at 8..... My addy is 'harrisonjnrehimwenma@gmail.com'.

Before i ask my questions i must highly commend Aunty Jenny, redreact, cconcept and co for their invaluable support in educating the minds of the people, God bless you all.
My own side of the story; for some time now i have been searching for the diamond spot, a place to study n work easily with PR in focus, have gone through US thread, canny, germany, finland, even uk thread to find a spot. Thank God i didnt wander for too long, although im graduating with bsc ind chemistry by october dis yr and plaanning to go thru TAFE route in aussie to get a PR. Av found dip of software dev and adv dip of network security, each is 2yrs n 21k AUD as tuition. I want to know lyk hw much one can earn as a student in such field (IT) and what is the probability of job security and also what other requirement is needed apart frm tafe cert when applying for PR. Both courses are in southern australia (regency park).
Pls i await comments and contributions. Thanks

dammygoody: Joan caught Miguel and Thomas together,as usual, she immediately reported to Daniel who immediately called the MBI to search the house;but alas!they found no one, they escaped.Thomas is now hiding up and down.
Katherina treated Daniel to a great dinner in remembrance of the day they first met eachother(the day Sir Williams brought Daniel to work for him).
As for Madam Margaret, she was poisoned in the prison and later developed an heart attack;but she survived.
Thomas was ready to surrender himself to the police following his mum's advice, but Miguel heard of it,and hatched a plan.
Miguel kidnapped Katherina on her way to the Police station where she was supposed to meet her brother, in order to use her against Thomas and Daniel(the both of them love that Kate so much).Later,Emily decided to go and meet Miguel and use that as a bait to catch him.BUT Thomas kidnapped her before she got there and also hatched the plan of using it against the chief monster-Miguel.

Daniel was so so angry and took a very rash decision-he sneaked out all by himself though armed.
Our friend,Nathan did not even get into the picture today.
............BUT............
Next time: As part of Miguel's monstrous plan,Daniel,Thomas and himself met at one place and I think there was cross-fire between them(you know they are sworn enemies now).Well sha,Daniel was shot,I think Kate also and I think they both died(looking at the picture they showed--They wanted to touch each other but their hands failed them.I just pray they didn't die,I might break my television if they did die.
............and the story continues........
Edited:Gosh!I didn't know you've updated Shimasparkle,thanks anyway.
.

Hmmmm they should better be alive o if not the whole story is useless cos I want to see my kate and daniel get married in peace in the end..........hmmm "perfect love" (sigh)

Education / How To Correct My Age On WAEC Result by Harmony222(m): 2:14am On Nov 22, 2013
Hello fellow nairalanders, i have a serious issue i would like anybody to contribute on.
A friend of mine just discovered her original waec result which was sent to her in Italy has an error in the date of birth, instead of 1993 it was written 1990. She is supposed to use the result in applying for undergraduate admission next year January but with this current error she can no longer do that to avoid rejection. Is there any way i could help her to redress the mistake on her result? if there is, how can i go about it,what are the steps involved, the cost involved and other necessary thing i need to do. Please this calls for urgent attention (all views are well appreciated). Thanks

simplemyk: When Ghanaian university lecturers went on strike for two years, everyone condemned them. Now they are enjoying fruit of their action.what happens, Nigerians has turned to them for proper education. Why can we allow ASUU achieve their purpose in Nigeria instead condemning n calling them names. Good education and good public learning facility never comes easy. If u don't shake government, they wont provide.
