I'm yet to hear from them since 18th April and they haven't responded to my mails either. My travel date has passed and I hope it won't affect my application. Also I visited the hospital during my last stay which I stated in my application. I paid all my bills so I wonder if that's the delay?
Pls I need a response

Sorry @saiprojects about the refusal. I am sure there is more to it than just her bank statement. Can you post and the refusal letter? There are gurus on this forum to help out on your next application. Never give up, if you really want your mother-in-law to visit.

my own is 1month and 15days today, please what could be the problem or is there anything I can do? am going for a seminar with is dated 23rd but want to leave on 21th which I filled in my form. am tired of this whole thing, like its turning of waste of money.

It takes about 2days or less to pick your passport though. the call was weird too cause I haven't heard abt that

Infact I have no idea, It took lots of emails being sent from us as the sponsors and caling and chasing etc until I sent another email on Monday before they called today... Very stressful but we'll go on friday as requested, just not sure why they call on wednesday asking to pick up on friday, very weird...

Go to the centre on friday as stated. The questionnaire is a mere survey which you can fill if you want. However, how come your application took 2months

We applied for a UK visa for My Mother in law and after waiting 2 months, my sister inlaw got a call( as my mother inlaw is over 65years so she's the next of kin) that it is ready for pick up and to pick it up on friday, she got the call today (wednesday); hmm i'm really curious as to what that means.. My mother in law also got an email few hours after the call that we should please fill out a questionnaire to rate their service...Anyone got any experience please?

Thank you for your response. The issue is I haven't gotten a mail stating a decision has been made on the application. 18th April till now is a long time and I applied at ikeja too

Please where did u apply from abuja or lagos? Was it a priority service? Cause I applied on 18th April and I haven't heard from them

Thanks for the great work u all are doing here. I applied for a renewal of my UK visa on the 25th April and I got it today. Was actually a lil sceptical of getting the 2yrs visa cos I had issues at POE (Heathrow) the last time I travelled, but God has been faithful and thanks to you all.

Nothing yet and I did mine since 18th April at Ikeja. It has never taken this long.

Am having same issue with you guys here' I had my biometric on 4th may @ ikeja' paid for priority and got same not straight forward mail 10th May. M really really bothered. And it seems this Sheffield immigration people are having issues on tier4 student applications.
But have you guys received anything from them yet?

I submitted on 18th April and I just got a mail that my application is delayed because it's nt straightforward ( the normal automated message). Hope I don't or won't have issues?

What date did u submit ur application? a friend submitted her application on April 10th at Ikeja and she just got a mail today that a decision has been made.

am not surprised. it was hyped to the high heavens before it's release. same as the way trip to Jamaica was hyped and everyone who later saw it was disappointed because the movie did not meet their expectations.

when it comes to Nollywood movies, the only hype I believe is the one from the audience who have seen it.

The wedding party is overhyped abeg. I watched it. Nice picture, Good camera angles but some characters were too dramatic. Sola sobowale was too dramatic abeg. The movie was just good not excellent. My opinion.

It's amazing how quick we are to judge others. The bible is replete with people God used despite their failings and faults. We fail everyday and yet we pray and expect God to hear us and he does but we mete out a different judgment for others.

The bible says a servant falls and is accountable to his master and his master is able to pull him up.

It's better to be quiet than speak when we don't understand some things

I was just issued a 6 months Visa today. I appreciate all your kind contributions. I was so anxious though because I didn't comply with many stuffs stated in this forum e.g making sure my salary reflects in my account and so on

I believe the most important thing is the grace of God.

So many things on the internet says when there is REF on subject and all that... But to be honest to me I dont believe but they could be right who am i to say there theory is wrong ; just my opinion.

Thanks for your response bro. I have read such comments too that when u have a ref no u have been issued a visa. I have such reference. However I trust God. I might go to their office on tues tho
