Nairaland / General / Re: Nairaland Or Facebook: Where Do You Spend More Time? by Harus(m): 11:57am On May 08, 2010
Face book is just for fun while NAIRALAND is for both fun & man power development.

At this stage, I dnt need fun or friends now coz I'd got funs & friends when I was still dependent.
So I'm now spending most of my time on NAIRALAND for manpower development.
God bless the owner (SEUN).

Crime / Re: What Drives Someone To Suicide? by Harus(m): 6:20pm On May 20, 2008
@ ALL POSTERS

There are some points been posted by some of u that may tempt someone out there to commit suicide because his/her problems is exactly the same as the one in the post and some posts may discourage someone who intend to commit suicide.

For instance, some people may consider posts that says " LIFE IS SWEET; GOD HAS SOLUTION FOR ALL PROBLEMS" and begin to hope that God will definitely show them the way (GOOD) while others may consider posts that says " SUICIDE IS WORTH DOING SOMETIMES because , " and consequently commit suicide (WRONG).
Some may even ask "WHEN WOULD GOD FREE HIM/HER FROM THIS SUFFERING? WHAT WOULD PEOPLE SAY OF ME? e.t.c"

Out of 100%, 70% may conclude wrongly.
I agree that suicide is a taboo in Africa but those that commit it may not think about that.

@ NAIRALAND ADMINISTRATOR
I humbly request for removal of this topic please.
I look 4ward to ur consideration.

I'm ignorant, so not interested in the stock/shares stuff but as I read posts on this thread, I quickly conclude, without doubt, that the stock/shares is the fast lane of making cool money  smiley

Its like I'v started regreting my stupidity for not buying shares for the past years  cry

Education / Re: Can She Change Her Faculty After 100 Level by Harus(m): 8:01pm On Jan 27, 2008
She should do anything possible to change it now.
It might be difficult or impossible later, so now and now.
Changing from one faculty to another is a little bit difficult & discourage by mgt but there is a certain point she must obtain in 100level b/4 she will b allowed to change. Also, different institutions/faculties av diferent requirements 4 change, like engineering in futminna is minimum of 4point but i dont know abt her school's.

If they refuse, discourage her and let her re-apply.
Its better one took time to get d best he/she wanted than to get d worse in no time.
Think abt it, its only an advise.

Education / Re: Someone Pls Help On Futminna 2007/2008 Admission by Harus(m): 6:59pm On Jan 27, 2008
I was in futminna last week. All that was happening was registration and registration.
I dont think there will b another list as d school was complaining of "too much admitted students" in marketable courses.
Infact, even if there is going to be another list, expect nothing but non-marketable courses like fisheries, education, e.t.c.

"please i want someone to enlight me whether futminna used to conduct their post ume and post de together on the same day"

Ofcourse yes! but 2007/08 has been conducted.
It will interest u to hear that 'Post UME/DE' is cancelled this year. I heard it in Radio Nigeria News and others read it in papers.
