[s] OdudwaR: Most of you just throw the word “interests” around without necessarily understanding the meaning.
Nigeria as a country is a strategic country in West and Central Africa. An all out war in Nigeria would have a far reaching effect and could destabilise two regions with refugee crisis. And to avoid that, the man gave an honest assessment based on British Intelligence and experiences in other places including within the borders of the U.K. with IRA.
I think the problem with a lot of you is that you can’t see beyond your nostrils and you think everything has to be political and the big white boogieman can never tell the truth. Meanwhile, you don’t even need this man to tell you that Nigeria’s insecurity can’t be fixed militarily due to the complexities involved. All you need is a brain and two eyes; it’s just sad that most of you cretins have both but can’t use them. [/s] This is not the answer to the question I asked you. Kindly answer or shut up |

[s] MikeBetty: understand first before you comment. It simply mean that the solution to nigeria problem is not only military fight alone. It is multidimensional. Dont expect Britain, UK to tell you to dialogue, to grant armnesty, to rehablitate, use carrot and stick aproach, and be responsible and tackle those things that causes uprising before it will start. [/s] You are trying to feed me your own view of the man's message. But you forget that we all have our views and to me, there is a fine print in the message he passed. And if you did not see it, I am sorry for you |

How will you react? Bros I am an African, and I grew up with the idea that running errands for my elders was a sign of respect. So it's a cultural norm in African society which I support 100%. And if my child does not emulate such, it is a sign he is rebellious and if he is disciplined in the process, so be it |

Coronabirus: Why should North allow that when it is obvious Azikwe denied North secession before independence and Ironsi dissolved regional govt and put in place Unitary system. Nobody can play with our intelligence, we are not fools to be played like football. You can't forced & imposed on us what we didn't like and after 60yrs you now want reverse your selfishness. Some group of people before Independence predicted that they're educationally advantaged and expected to dominate everything that is why they imposed Unitary system on us. North woke up and invested heavily on foreign scholarships and the trend still continues and now they're afraid that in the next few years we'll take over the dream they couldn't actualized; this is the secret of current outrages, propaganda, ethno-religious tension campaigns. In thin & thick, we must finish Lugard contract by fire-by-force! You are just deceiving yourself. Are you aware that the clamour for secessionist is growing stronger by the day? Just of recent 52 northern groups have vouched for the Biafras to go. So what are you saying...? Your region is known to sent this country in reverse due to Illiteracy and terrorism. So why would you want to keep us in the bondage you chose for yourself? I thank God that the likes of Sunday Igboho are pushing for the breakup of this nonsense |

[s] OdudwaR: What an unintelligent and uneducated reply. Not shocked since I don’t expect to read anything intelligent that can stimulate the brain on here. I have only been on the forum for a few days and it might be the worst decision I have ever made due to the amount of cretins on here.
The man is basically saying the complexities of Nigeria’s different layers of insecurity problem is beyond what the military can solve, else, it would complicate things. Nigeria is currently fighting 3 wars: ideological (religious), ethnic and territorial integrity wars. So pray tell, how the military can fix this? The military would just keep complicating things until the center can no longer hold and there’s an all out war.
The only solution is to call for a ethnic conference to discuss Nigeria’s while fighting just the winnable ideological war against ISWAP with foreign help.
They would get your resources regardless. He’s just being honest with you since most of you just have brain but can’t really use it. [/s]You talking like one who cannot read the fine print in his message. Has the UK or the West done anything without seeking their interest first? Let me ask you a question : other than refugees wanting migrate to the UK(due to unrest in the Sub-Saharan region) , what other threat does the insecurity of Nigeria pose to the UK government and its economy? |

puremaker7: which fact? What you just displayed over there was a pure hatred over your main target, has Tinubu ever ruled Nigeria? Jonathan was a president, he had the power then. What about your reps and senators currently in the House? I know you love and support Tinubu, but you need to set aside sentiment and see the bigger picture here. The likes of Tinubu are partly responsible for the planned restrictions on restructuring and for us to deny this will be hypocritical.

Bottom line is if you are good in your work, you will see some one who will pay you well based on your wealth of experience . But don't juts start today with little knowledge to writing SEO, free plagiarism content, good command of English and be demanding for 5 naira per word.
Start from somewhere, understand the game, build your portfolio and win the heart of those you write for.
Can I tell you a secret? No reasonable blogger will let go of someone who writes and meet their expectation,he will be ready to double the pay. So how does one improve his/her writing? |

DubaiLandLord1: Have southern lawmakers asked for it in the NA and it was rejected by Northern lawmakers?
When GEJ became the president of Nigeria, he said, "There is nothing wrong with the Nigerian constitution and there is nothing to talk about". I might not get the exact words, but is almost something like that. He said it during a press release and I watch him say it on Channels news or NTA news.
I won't blame Northerners for this, every politicians dey enjoy Nigeria with the way it's been run presently. That's why GEJ a man from the South South geopolitical zone didn't do anything about restructuring till he found out the 2015 election won't be in his favor. Is GEJ the only one culpable? What about the likes of Obasanjo and Tinubu who were very controversial regarding the issue of restructuring...? Or is it that you did not see their own faults. Stop this childish tribalistic sentiment. The deed has been done, and as it stands now, everyone is filing for a divorce ; the marriage has ended.
