An Akwa-Ibom State indigene, identified as Mrs Okon Iniabasi, has reportedly cut off a man’s penis when he attempted to rape her. The incident happened in the Ikono Local Government Area of the state. The man, Linus Ibok, Punch reports, is her husband’s best friend. Reports say Ibok had on Saturday, accompanied his friend, Iniabasi’s husband, a petty trader to board a vehicle to Aba, Abia State to purchase items for his shop in the village. Afterwards, Ibok trailed Iniabasi to her farm where his manhood was cut off as he tried to have canal knowledge of her. As the story goes, Iniabasi was said to have disclosed that she was not surprised when she saw Ibok in her farmland, as she thought he wanted to help her since he was almost like a member of their family but the shock came when Ibok confessed his undying love for her. She reportedly rebuked him and asked him to leave the farm or she would report him to her husband. It was at that point Ibok grabbed her and attempted to rape her. Meanwhile, she allegedly let him UnCloth and on noticing that, she used her machete to cut off his manhood. After that, she ran to the village to inform others, who rushed to the farm to meet Ibok in the pool of his own blood with his manhood cut off. He was rushed to an unnamed hospital where he is reportedly receiving treatment.

SaharaReporters has learned that the official driver for the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has been brazenly impersonating a Nigerian Police Force officer by wearing a full police uniform and with the knowledge of Governor Emmanuel. This highly criminal and fraudulent act has continued with impunity for a long time, according to sources. Governor Emmanuel's driver Mr. Bassey Edet Bassey, fraudulently impersonating Nigerian police offiers Sahara Reporters Media Sources close to the Akwa Ibom State Governor told SaharaReporters that the driver, Mr. Bassey Edet Bassey, who hails from Cross Rivers State had worked with the Governor since he was a senior management staff with Zenith Bank Plc. On further checks, it was learned that his employer, Zenith Bank, usually detailed Mr. Bassey to serve the Governor whenever he visited Akwa Ibom State. Udom Emmanuel, who had served Zenith Bank Plc in different capacities at various times, including as Executive Director and General Manager, left the bank in 2013 and took an appointment as the Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government under former Governor Godswill Akpabio. While leaving the bank, he took a along with him some other staff of the bank who had worked closely with him, including his present official driver, Bassey Edet Bassey. A source close to the Governor however told SaharaReporters that the governor had asked all those wishing to work with him to resign from the bank. However, we learnt that unlike his colleagues who had also left the bank to work with the Governor, Mr. Bassey refused to formally resign and continued to receive salary and other fringe benefits from Zenith Bank. Further investigation by SaharaReporters revealed that all those who left the bank to work with the Governor had been officially recruited into the Akwa Ibom State civil service on the orders of the Governor. Based on this arrangement, the Governor's driver, Mr. Bassey, was originally posted to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government as a clerical officer. However, he continued to serve the Governor as a driver contrary to his official work schedule. As if that was not enough, SaharaReporters learnt from sources that Mr. Bassey, has been impersonating the Nigerian Police Force by wearing complete police uniform to work. One of the sources that spoke with SaharaReporters expressed dismay over the matter and wondered why the Governor should be indulging the criminality of his official driver. "We have been wondering why someone who is not a police man should be dressing as one simply because he drives the Governor but no one has been able to raise an eyebrow on the issue for fear of being victimized by the Governor. He started by using the rank of a Corporal but later promoted himself to a Sergeant.” "Some days he will put on the Mopol camouflage and even the blue beret which is only meant for officers in the Special Protection Unit, a squad that protects some VIPs. He has been doing this despite the fact that his name is on the Civilian Drivers List in the Government House. But because he is the Governor's favorite nobody dares to question him,” according to a source within the Akwa Ibom State Government House in Uyo told SaharaReporters.

Sexy Ella Mensah is a Ghanaian actress who spends most of her time in Nigeria. A mother of one, Ella came to Nigeria to shoot a film and ended up shooting five other films back-to-back. Now, she is seen more as a Nollywood actress than a Ghollywood one. To drive home this fact, the actress permanently has on her Blackberry, a personal message “Hottest Ghanaian actress in Nollywood”. Hot and wild as they come, Ella doesn’t set rigid rules for herself. As an actress, the Ghanaian beauty takes on roles many of her colleagues wouldn’t dare. Getting really romantic and sensual on set is to Ella what candy is to a child and she has even played as a lesbian, a role many wouldn’t touch. “Oh yes, I’ve played a couple of them, a lot of them. October is going to be exactly three years I’ve been in the movie industry, and I think the second movie I ever shot in Nigeria, was a lesbian movie. It’s called ‘Gone Girl’ where I played as Amanda Ebeye’s lesbian partner. I’ve played a couple of lesbian roles but funny enough, I hardly remember all the titles because most are working titles. Even in ‘Educated Housemaids’ too, I had a lesbian scene”, she told Potpourri in a chat. But it would appear her lesbian roles are stalking her as the actress confessed to Potpourri that many lesbians now harass her on Facebook with all sorts of propositions, thinking she’s one of them. “A lot on Facebook; you know when your fans watch your movie I think most of them think the character is who you are, so I get so many girls on Facebook; lesbian girls telling me how much they love me and all that, but I always send a message across that I am not a lesbian but they don’t get it because they see you acting so in movies” she said mournfully.

A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has said Nigeria is still backward because it was built on a ‘satanic’ foundation. Fani-Kayode stated this in a Facebook post titled ‘Lord Lugard’s Magic and Flora Shaw’s Spell’. The controversial ex-minister claimed that the diabolic mystery surrounding the manner with which Nigeria was created in 1914, was the reason the country was still struggling to find its feet. According to him, both Lord Fredrick Lugard, who was the first Governor-General of Nigeria; and his wife, Flora Shaw (later Flora Lugard), who gave Nigeria its name, were worshippers of Satan. Fani-Kayode said, “It is generally agreed though not commonly admitted that both Lugard and Flora Shaw were Luciferians who practised the black arts and all manner of satanic rituals. “He (Lugard) was a ‘High Priest of the Freemasons’ whilst they were both avid followers of Aleister Crowley, the leading satanist of his day and the self-styled ‘world’s most wicked man’”. “This explains a lot. It also explains why Shaw gave us the name Nigeria – a name which has questionable roots. Anyone that doubts this should consider the literal translation of Nigeria into Latin: it means ‘the area of darkness’ and there is a deep spiritual and mystical reason why she gave us that name. “It comes with a lot of baggage because not much good can come out of an area of darkness”, Fani-Kayode, who prides himself as a student of history, wrote. He pointed out that most of the African countries that were colonised by Britain had since changed their names with the exception of Sudan and Nigeria. This singular act of retaining the names given by the British colonial masters, is responsible for why both countries are still struggling, he explained. “Most of the former British colonies changed their names after independence for similar reasons but because most of our leaders in Nigeria were not aware of these matters, they refused to do so. “Lugard and Shaw were an unlikely couple who had no children. What held them together was more spiritual and mystical than anything else and Nigeria and Sudan are their joint legacy to the world. “Sadly, both countries are having major challenges today. Sudan has broken into two after a protracted and bitter civil war while Nigeria is experiencing serious regional, ethnic and religious tensions. It is clear that our nation needs a good deal of prayers. May God deliver us from Lord Lugard’s magic and his beautiful wife’s spell”, he prayed. Fani-Kayode said Nigeria was created such that the North could rule forever while the resources of the South would continually be exploited. He said it was nothing short of a miracle that Nigeria had only witnessed one civil war since it gained independence in 1960. However, he argued that the only thing that had kept Nigeria united was the oil in the Niger Delta as well as the strength, patience and collective will of the people. “This was his (Lugard’s) vision: a northern Nigeria that was essentially the ‘head of the household’ and that would remain in control of all the powers and resources of the state and a southern Nigeria that would play the role of a passive and subservient wife whose destiny it was to remain in perpetual subjugation and bondage”, the former minister said. “The truth is that the British colonialists were masters of divide and rule. The amalgamation of the southern and northern protectorates was a Greek gift which was designed to fail and to crumble at the appropriate time. Nigerians have done well to have held it together for so long and the fact that we have only experienced one civil war is miraculous”, he added.

Human faces may hold more meaning for socially outgoing individuals than for their more introverted counterparts, a new study suggests. The results show the brains of extroverts pay more attention to human faces than do introverts. In fact, introverts' brains didn't seem to distinguish between inanimate objects and human faces. The findings might partly explain why extroverts are more motivated to seek the company of others than are introverts, or why a particularly shy person might rather hang out with a good book than a group of friends. The study also adds weight to idea that underlying neural differences in people's brains contribute to their personality. "This is just one more piece of evidence to support the assertion that personality is not merely a psychology concept," said study researcher Inna Fishman, of the Salk Institute for Biological Sciences in La Jolla, Calif. "There's some broader foundation for the behavior that you see … implicating that there are neural bases for different personality types." Personality in the brain There are many ways to describe someone's character — from talkative to anxious to hardworking and organized. Psychologists have found that many traits often go together and have grouped these traits into five overarching categories — extroversion, neuroticism, agreeableness, conscientiousness and openness/intellect. Extroversion deals with the way people interact with others. Extroverts like to be around other people and generally enjoy social situations while introverts are the opposite. Previous studies have shown that people who are extroverted also tend to be more assertive, experience more positive feelings and get more out of rewards in general. However, no one had looked to see whether extroverts are more sensitive to stimuli specifically related to social situations, such as faces. To find out, Fishman and her colleagues recruited 28 participants ages 18 to 40 that ranged in personality from introverted to somewhat extroverted to very extroverted. Electrodes placed on the subjects' scalps recorded the electrical activity in their brains, a technique known as electroencephalography, or EEG. The researchers studied a particular change in the brain's electrical activity known as P300. The change, which shows up as a deflection on a person's EEG, can be elicited by certain tasks or by a change in the environment, such as when the room is very quiet and you all of a sudden hear a loud nose. The brains' reaction occurs within 300 milliseconds, before the person is aware of the change. To evoke P300, Fishman used a method known as the "oddball task" in which subjects see a series of very similar images, such as a bunch of blue cars, and then all of a sudden, a slightly different image appears, such as a red car. In the current experiment, subjects saw a series of male faces and every so often a female face appeared. They were also shown pictures of purple flowers interspersed with pictures of yellow ones. Faces or flowers? The higher subjects had scored on a test for extroversion, the greater their P300 response was to human faces. In other words, extroverts pay more attention to human faces (P300 can be seen as an indicator of human attention, or how fast their brains' noticed that something has changed.) There was no link between scores on extroversion and the P300 response to flowers. Introverts had very similar P300 responses to both human faces and to flowers. "They just didn’t place a larger weight on social stimuli than they did on any other stimuli, of which flowers are one example," Fishman said. "[This] supports the claim that introverts, or their brains, might be indifferent to people — they can take them or leave them, so to speak. The introvert's brain treats interactions with people the same way it treats encounters with other, non-human information, such as inanimate objects for example," Fishman told LiveScience. The results strongly suggest that human faces, or people in general, hold more significance for extroverts, or are more meaningful for them, Fishman said.

This has been circulating on and on and it attracts my noble attention. Funny enough that our politicians won't allow themselves to be treated in their own "good enough" hospitals but rather be flown to European modern facilities for a better and accurate check up and appropriate medical treatment. But when they die abroad they prefer to be taken home to Nigeria and laid to rest. The poor citizens with less or no privilege at all are facing the inefficiency and inadequacy of our health sector, no choice, no money unlike our leaders who are soaked in ill-gotten wealth which belongs to all but are used for their own selfish purposes. Nigeria is not a BURIAL GROUND for you people. Q.E.D.

The positions of Chief Amanze Uchegbulam, Paul Bassey and Sani Toro left a sour taste to their ambitions after they, in separate interviews warned the duo to ‘’stop embarrassing Nigeria’’. Former Abia State Governor, Dr Kalu was the first to hint of joining the fray to succeed outgoing Joseph Sepp Blatter before Odegbami, former captain of the Eagles, businessman joined the queue. Former Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation and member of CAF’s Judicial and Board of Appeals Committee, Amanze Uchegbulam said that he had nothing against Kalu and Odegbami’s entrance into the FIFA presidency race but frowned that it was being done the wrong way. Odegbami and Kalu ‘’There is nothing wrong with their ambitions but they are doing it the wrong way and embarrassing Nigeria’’, he said as a matter of fact. ‘’Nigeria has very knowledgeable people in CAF and FIFA and one expects that such people should have been consulted for a high profile position in a place they are holding positions. They did not and what we get is outsiders asking us if we knew about their ambitions. There are procedures for doing things and there are statutes to be followed. FIFA is an organised body. It is not a political party where people jump into at any time. President of CAF, Issa Hayatou is the number two man in FIFA and he is in charge of Africa. Consultation for things like these are first done underground with the knowledge of all relevant people and organisations. It is not something you jump to the Press first and the people are getting to know about your ambitions through the Press. We(Nigerians) holding positions in CAF or FIFA have been inundated with calls and the whole thing is an embarrassment. They know that we know and expect us to guide our people. But you can only help one who seeks help”, Uchegbulam said. The former first Vice President of the NFF also lashed out at their ambitions saying that it might be beyond Presidency of FIFA. ‘’It’s possible that they are in the race for ulterior motives. I say this because it is a bridge too far for them’’. He was not alone. Veteran Sports Journalist and CAF and FIFA Media Committee member, Paul Bassey was miffed when he talked about the entrance of the Nigerians into the FIFA number one position. “It is sad indeed that our people overlook us on a subject that we can be of help to guide and to direct them appropriately. ‘’Even if they don’t like our persons, they should have asked us because of our positions and knowledge. I totally agree with Uchegbulam that they are embarrassing Nigeria. Not only that, they are also trivializing the whole thing’’, Bassey, a sports columnist of high repute noted. Former House of Representatives member and former Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Association and former Sports Commissioner of Bauchi State, Alhaji Sani Ahmed Toro laughed off the ambitions of the Nigerians urging them not to ‘’ridicule this country’’. ‘’They want to test their popularity and it goes beyond that. The rules are simple. I bet you that they won’t even cross the hurdle in Nigeria. It is not even possible for Pinnick to endorse them not to talk of CAF’’, Toro said. “They will not because there are rules and guidelines they do not meet.” In addition to his submissions, Toro cited Article 24 of FIFA Statutes, Articles 12 to 14 of the Electoral Regulations for the FIFA Presidency which was specific; ‘’The eligibility of candidates for the office of FIFA Presidency shall have been proposed by a member association(Nigeria Football Federation) and present declarations of support from at least five(5) member associations ie 5 other Countries. Each member association may only present a declaration of support for one person. If a member association presents support for more than one person, all its declarations shall be become invalid When contacted, Chief Segun Odegbami whose entrance brought joy to many Nigerians in football circles wondered why Nigerians love to bring down their fellow Nigerians instead of looking positively. “Yes, I did not consult them but I have intentions of meeting up with almost all relevant persons. It is not something you can do in one day. People should not see this project as a Segun Odegbami thing. No, it is not. It is not a do or die affair but one of participating well. I am in this because I have what it takes to offer to the World and to the beautiful game of football’’, he said. Other contenders include Michel Platini, the French president of European federation UEFA, South Korean Chung Mong-joon, a former Asian vice-president of FIFA as well as the old Brazilian World Cup star Zico and former Trinidad and Tobago international David Nakhid. The South African businessman Tokyo Sexwale is also considering a bid.

The first son of the former President and head of state, President Olusegun Obasanjo finally opens can of worms about his frosty relationship with his alleged randy father. In what appears to be a messy divorce between Gbenga Obasanjo, and his estranged wife, Mojisola Olayemisi Amope, he ropped a bombshell on his father’s alleged s*xual intimacy with his wife, Moji. Gbenga not only accused his own father and Nigeria’s former president of having sex with his wife before awarding contracts to her, but also alleged that his wife’s father, Otunba Alex Onabanjo and other men slept with her. This shocking revelation is contained in an affidavit he submitted to the court in response to a messy divorce case already in court. Gbenga’s celebrated marriage to Moji, which took place at the Archbishop Vinning Memorial Church, Ikeja, in April, 2000, headed for the rocks barely four years after the lovebirds exchanged marital vows. Moji had allegedly deserted her matrimonial home on 2 December, 2004 and never returned until this messy divorce battle that is bound to ruffle many feathers.

The police in neighbouring Niger Republic have arrested a Nigerian carrying 4.6m Euros (N1.05bn) in cash. The man was arrested at the Diori Hamani Airport in Niamey, the capital of Niger, en route Dubai in the United Arab Emirate. The Nigerien police said they suspected that the man was fleeing with the money in order to avoid being caught by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has been prosecuting an anti-corruption campaign since assumption of office on May 29. They also expressed worry that there had been an upsurge in the number of Nigerians trafficking huge sums of money in cash through the neighbouring country. The police in Niger are already working on the suspicion that the money traffickers have accomplices in the country. The arrest of the Nigerian has been a big news item in the Nigerien newspapers and television stations. Curiously the authorities here on Wednesday claimed ignorance of the money seizure in the neighbouring country though the Customs officers in Niger were already kicking against repatriating the cash to Nigeria. A media report in Niger on Saturday said the National Union of Customs Officers at a press briefing “denounced the request of the Nigerian authorities” to return the seized money. The Customs official said there had been several similar seizures in Niamey from people trafficking money from Nigeria, putting the amount that had been so seized in several billions of naira. They said the seized money had been mainly in dollars, euros and pounds sterling, asking the Niger authorities to allow the Customs officials to do their job without interference. When contacted, the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said he could not speak on the development because his brief was to speak for the President. He therefore referred one of our correspondents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “I speak for the President. On this kind of issues, I will advice that you speak with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” he said. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the officials denied knowledge of the seizure in Niger Republic. The ministry’s spokesperson, Ogbole Ahmedu-Ode, said the ministry had not received official communication on the arrest of any Nigerian. “I am hearing about this incident for the first time from you, we have not received any communication on the matter from any quarters,” he said over the telephone. Calls to the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Emeka Obua, did not elicit any response. He also did not respond to text messages to his mobile telephone on the issue. The Nigerien embassy in Abuja could not be reached for comment on Wednesday as calls to the mission’s phone lines failed to connect. The spokesman for the Nigerian Customs Service, Mr Wale Adeniyi could not be reached for comments as text message and repeated calls made to his mobile line were not replied as of the time (8.30pm) of filling this report. But a senior official of the Service told one of our correspondents in confidence that the issue had yet to be brought to the attention of the agency. The official said since the matter was a diplomatic issue, there were protocols that must be adhered to before the customs could step in. The official said, “As we speak now, the matter hasn’t been drawn to our attention. This is a diplomatic matter that has to be treated with caution in order to avoid diplomatic row between both countries. “The identity of the person in question has not been established and it is the Nigerian embassy in Niger that would verify that. “After that is done, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be notified before other security agencies would be invited on the matter. “So, it is not something that the Customs will jump into and start investigating because the Customs in Niger don’t report directly to us in Nigeria.”

A man in Mexico, who always thought that bigger is better, is very disappointed as women run away from him as soon as they see his long manhood. 52-year-old Roberto Esquivel Cabrera of Saltillo, said that his manhood currently measures at 18.9 inches. According to WWWN, Cabrera complained that his manhood is so long that it hangs well below the knee. He recently requested that his manhood be recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s longest. He also filed a petition with city officials to be recognized as disabled, saying that his long manhood is keeping him from having a normal job. To satisfy the Guinness Book of Records, Cabrera underwent a medical examination and had an x-ray done of his organ. Doctors who examined Cabrera, said that he has a lot of hanging skin. Cabrera does not have a girlfriend, as women freak out as soon as they see him unclad. Doctors recommended that Cabrera undergo a reduction operation.

Ciera Ross, a mother of two, has been arrested and charged with raping a man. According to CBS Chicago, Ross and a friend were driving on the North Side of Chicago when they saw a man walking down the street in late July. Ross, 25, stopped and asked the 33-year-old man if he wanted a ride. The man took the offer, but Ross’ true intentions became evident when she pulled a gun on the man. She forced the man to go to the backseat and told him to have sex with her friend. The man pleaded for the women to stop after they made him handle the woman’s breasts and butt. Ross then ordered the man to take his clothes off and her friend began to assault him sexually. The women also took $200 and credit cards from the man. The male victim was able to escape when he saw a taxi cab and ran from the car naked. The cab driver allowed the man to use his cellphone to take a picture of Ross’ license plate. Chicago police arrested Ross on Sept. 3 and the victim identified her as the assailant. Ross has been arrested for prostitution in the past. She was charged with rape and armed robbery and held on a $75,000 bond. Her friend has yet to be charged.

I wonder what Bovi’s explanation for this one would be!!!! Well, they say all men are dogs, so maybe his wife would understand. You can clearly see the seriousness on his face as he stares directly at the woman’s behind. We patiently wait for his reaction to this ![]()

Doctors have started taking selfies next to women’s vaginas, often while she is naked and sometimes at the moment the baby is crowning. One doctor, a student obstetrician called Daniel Sanchez, has come under fire for uploading one such selfie on his Instagram page. Sanchez, from Venezuela, posted an image of himself smirking as a woman, who is naked from the waist down, gives birth. A fellow doctor appears to have his hands still in or around her vagina as the baby crowns. Sanchez, who has since set his Instagram page to private, tagged the image: ‘Lady I can deliver your baby but first let me take a selfie’. He later added: ‘bring kids into the world and reconstruct pussies’ – boasting that his team give women vaginas that are ‘brand new, like a car with zero kilometres on the clock’. Hmmm. But the joke was on him after the picture (obviously) sparked anger online with 4,000 people signing a petition calling for Sanchez to face disciplinary action. Sanchez apologised for any offence caused, but denies taking the photograph himself. He does however claim that the woman had not been disrespected because ‘you cannot see her genitals or her face’, and he also claims she gave consent. It is unclear whether the woman really did allow the photograph to be taken. This image is not the first either, with the hashtag #deliveryroom becoming increasingly popular on Instagram. Another selfie of two doctors posing next to a naked woman emerged online a while back with the woman appearing to be unconscious after undergoing a caesarean. And a nurse called Francisco Salgado reportedly uploaded a picture of an out-of-focus bloody vagina with an in focus person stitching her up alongside the tagline #thankfulhusbandstitch.

Ngozi Nwosu had a close shave with death few years ago and it took the prompt intervention of the Lagos State government to come to her rescue, footing the bills of her treatment abroad. At a point, a magazine even reported that she was suffering from the deadly HIV/AIDS disease, but today, the actress is back on her feet, doing what she loves doing, putting smile on the faces of people through acting. Ngozi, who spoke with Encomium magazine recently, said she wishes not to remember her sad experience because it was then she confirmed her true friends. According to her, “I prefer not to talk about it. It is better imagined than discussed. When things happen to you, that is when you know who your friends are. That is when you know if there is God. “That is when you know people that want you dead. That is when you know people who will stand by you. I have been able to see all that. To God be the glory, great things He has done in my life. I will continue to thank Him. It has been awesome.”

I've looked at little quadcopter drones and thought, "Gosh, if I could just shrink down to mouse size, that would be a lot of fun to ride around on." YouTube user gasturbine101 apparently looked at a drone and thought, "I could harness the power of a million drones and use them as my personal flying chariot." And he did, except it took just 54 propellers to get the job done. The Swarm is a manned superdrone, so named because it looks like a herd of little drones all strapped together to make one big flying machine. There's a seat at the center for the operator to sit and control the device. It's not a drone, it's a superdrone. Video screenshot by Amanda Kooser/CNET The take-off weight for the Swarm with a person on board was about 326 pounds (148 kilograms). A video of the Swarm in flight shows it getting off the ground by quite a few feet, enough to make the camera operator shout, "Be careful It hovers and bounces back down for temporary landings. It looks at least mildly terrifying, though the pilot is wearing a helmet. The Swarm can run for about 10 minutes on its battery packs, which appear to be distributed around the machine along with the propellers. Gasturbine101 posted an initial test-flight video, without the rider, about two months ago. In that video, the drone was controlled from a distance. Now the controls are on board. The finished superdrone video with air jockey was posted August 29. This is a good time to issue all the usual warnings that accompany gawking at an unusual and potentially dangerous DIY project. Don't try this at home. You would probably need to check with your governmental aviation regulations organization anyway. Plus, there's that whole possibility of falling out of the sky. That wouldn't be much fun at all. https://www.youtube.com/embed/t5JgnMJzCtQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Liang Xiuzhen suffers from a rare medical condition called cutaneous horn – an unusual skin tumor with the appearance of a horn, or sometimes of wood or coral. The cause of cutaneous horns is still unknown, but it is believed that exposure to radiation can trigger the condition. The woman claims that the horn started growing from the area where she had a black mole that started itching and eventually split open. In just two years the growth has expanded to reach a total of 12,7 centimeters in length and 5cm in diameter and it’s still growing. The tumor now resembles an animal horn in shape and colour. However, the skin around the horn is red raw and occasionally blood seeps through. Speaking about her condition, Liang Xiuzhen said: “At the moment it’s just painful. Sometimes it’s so painful it will wake me up from sleep.” As the horn is composed of keratin, the same material found in fingernails, it can usually be removed with a sterile razor. Treatments vary, they can include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy.
