The same guy that his father refused to see few days ago.

A Prince is the son of a king/queen. It isn't that hard. The UK still refers to him as a prince, his family refer to him as a prince. Until the monarchy is abolished, he'd be a prince for the rest of his life.
His mum even after divorcr3 was called princess Diana. His Uncle who is no longer a working royal just like Harry is still a prince. His cousins who aren't working royals are known as princessess.
Do you stop being your parents child when you move out or aren't in talking terms?

He's not a prince but he's among the heir to the throne. Dude is still in line of succession to the British throne

Actually he is still a prince. To be a prince, you must be born to a king/queen or the heir to the throne. His mother was still princess of Wales after her divorce. Until the monarchy is abolished, he will remain a Prince. He only stopped using HRH becos he no longer represents the crown. He stopped working in the family business. And yes he has issues with hso family but he is still a Windsor, a prince.

How is he still a prince?

A couple that doesn’t represent the UK nor its Palace anymore ?

Nigeria Leaders are a bunch of jokes…

You are the one who is the joke here. What does it mean to be a prince? Harry is the son of the King of the UK, 5th in line to the throne and brother to the future king. He is and will always be royalty and a prince

He stepped back from working for the firm or acting as ambassador to the UK govt. That doesn't change his heritage, his family or his royal status.
He is not the only one not represnting the royal family. Princesse Beatrice and Eugenie don't work for the family but are royals and on the line of succession.

I hope she is not. A well brought up omoluabi does not encourage her husband to break up from his family. Fighting her father, fighting her sibling encouraging her husband to split from his family?

A well brought up Omoluabi (Male) would not sit and watch as his Wife is denigrated daily on TV and national Newspapers while his family( the most powerful) turns a blind eye, hosts the press to lunches and demand that said Wife and Son accept all they are getting because the son is a spare and his wife expendable. Not because she stole, killed or destroyed anything but because they need her to be scapegoat?

How many Omoluabis will sit and accept hate and national press negativity daily, i mean DAILY with said negative news making the round in the world on print, tv and social media? How many Omoluabi's will sit and watch as they are called names, everything they do or say turned into negativity, credible threats of physical harm made against them and some people even jailed for it? How many Omoluabis will clap for their brother/inlaw when they help the press against them in court?
His mother had no one fighting the powerful family and press during her time, he stood up for his wife.

Whose Father or Uncle is sick? Harry's father is doing royal duties all around UK, his brother is attending footbal matches. All other royals are busy travelling from Ukraine to the US and its Meghan that must put her life on hold? This same family that threw her to the british press to denigrate?

and you think this is fair! The father or the uncle is on a sick bed instead of that woman to go visit him before he dies has she not done enough damage by taking the man away from his family?

Politics / We Are All Accountable And Responsible For The State Of The Nation by haven2010: 11:37am On Jun 24, 2013
What is it that motivates people to protest for weeks. how can they sustain their passion and drive so tirelessly? Brazil, Bulgaria, Turkey.... i do not like violence but i wonder if Nigerians will ever feel this much discontent with the system to stand up and say No More.

NUC just succeeded in dismantling an Engineering department in University of Abuja, where was NUC when the department was set up, how long does it take to review the department and decide, where is the minister for Education, Where is ASUU in all of this? The civil service is filled with a lot of inefficient, corrupt, and sometimes idle workers whose voices are only heard when NLC/TUC is fighting for salary increase yet the NLC/TUC has never to the best of my knowledge stood up to demand efficiency and effectiveness from their workers.

I see young people sending me BBM on the entertainment industry, when will they use BBM or twitter to demand their libraries stocked with books, their hostels and classrooms renovated, their curriculum or syllabus updated to reflect present economic and technological realities?

When would the NBA demand the review of laws that are so outdated and archaic they barely make any sense, when will the Nigerian Medical Association demand for upgraded equipment in their hospitals, empathy from nurses and doctors as they treat patients, when would we demand that public hospitals treat people before demanding payment, when would we stop being religious and be spiritual?
The people who steal from public funds, who fill the drainage with filth, who use one way to avoid traffic, who increase rent incessantly, who expect their brothers or sisters who are in government to steal and 'share' the 'national cake' with them, who think that you must support someone mainly on religious, tribal sentiments not minding their lack of vision or ideas to make things happen, all of us who would rather complain and point fingers instead of doing something, all of us who are compelled to pray and fast for even the basic things which normal governments provide without splashing it on the pages of newspapers.

Aren't we all Muslims and Christians, praying five times a day, fasting and praying from one prayer camp to the next. Would we ever be pained enough to become the change we want to see?......

People are dying from lack of basic medical care that they cannot afford, landlords build houses with cheap materials and demand crazy rent, drivers increase fares at the slightest excuse, lecturers demand you give them verbatim the handouts they give you which is even plagiarized research, young people pray and complain about no jobs, yes because there are no jobs, but then again because some of them are too lazy to stretch themselves, think outside the box and become solution providers, aren't we tired of waiting for heaven to solve problems that heaven is waiting on us to solve?
I see underage children street-hawking and it breaks my heart, yet i know Christians and Muslims whose nannies are not any older than their children all because they don't want their husbands to go after the nannies, and we all pray everyday....

Let us be the change we desperately seek, we are all guilty because one little way or another, we have made the nation what it is. What can we do, what can i do, what can you do? There has to be something, no matter how little....there just has to be something....aaaarrrgggg

Politics / Re: Residents Warn Against Uncontrollable Chaos Over Lekki Tolling - SaharaReporters by haven2010: 12:44am On Dec 13, 2011
I live in Lekki Phase 1. i had to do the maths to fully get the picture
i drive a toyota corrola. this entitles me to the cheapest toll by ecard of 108/trip
1day= 108*2
1week=1,512.00
1month=6,048.12
12months=72,576.00
360months=2,177,289.00
this is assuming i ply the rolad twice daily for 7days, there is no inflation, the price is not increased and the world remains the same. unless of course the accountants in the forum can start discounting

so lets multiply this by the number of residents in Lekki Phase 1 alone. Can you imagine what this cost will be for those who live three toll gates away?

what are the alternative roads? is there any functional and motorable road after Oniru estate?  How many BRT buses ply the road?

even though i believe we may need to pay tolls, this cost is way too high for the thirty year period. from where i sit, traffic will still be pretty bad around the toll areas abi where am i gonna get change of N8.00 from every morning and evening i pass by the toll gate? three tolls is even an extreme!

I also hope there would be tolls imposed on the Orile/Badagry stretch they are working on? how about extending the apapa oshodi road and adding tolls as well?

BRF fall my hand on this one sha,
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Vacancies For Corpers by haven2010: 1:49pm On Nov 21, 2010
hi

First of all, a word of advice- do not use abbreviations when responding to a vacancy by a recruiter.

To answer your question, you will not get a request letter from the company unless you are selected for the position you are applying for.

So, one step at a time, send in your CV and go through the process. If you are selected, we will give the necessary assistance as per NYSC secretariat.
