Actually not all the 16GB is actually for installing apps. In the 16GB u might be give 1GB to 4GB to install apps and the remaining space for media storage.
Just like my htc desire z I am given 4GB as internal memory but I could only get to use 1.1GB to install apps.

Exactly! If you really need more space my advice is that you get a memory card. you can even get 16gb at N2,000 and install apps to your heart's content (do note that not all apps can be installed on/moved to external storage) so they are quite affordable.

Stop this thrash saying. Those 4 organisations market sales is not enough. Jumia phones are expensive, Kong sells fake item. They tell you galaxy core only to get galaxy pocket and slot though reliable cant be used cause people buy phone these days outside slot. The slot of 2011-2012 is no longer the slot of 2013. Their phones are expensive and these days they r useless.

Settings > Application Manager > scroll right to "all". click on any of the installed app. from the page that opens you should see a "move to sd card" option for that particular app. I would have recommend apps like "all in one toolbox" and "clean matter" to make the task easier but since you are "running out of memory space" no need to install more apps. right?

@OP what you seem to have done is simply compare flagship Samsung Devices with Tecno devices, budget Samsung Devices lack all that bell and whistle and are likely no match for Tecno's offerings. sure Tecno lacks an R&D department and thus "somewhat" lacklustre specs. Now remember Samsung of years past (go back 6 years), their devices were hardly inspiring, beside Tecno is niche (made for emerging markets) for a reason- they know they can't fight the Android game at flagship level......at least not yet.

Not to flog an ailing topic but you get what you pay for, if Tecno develops a device with Amoled, 3gb ram, exynos chipset and invests a lot in R&D, you can not expect the price to be "affordable". so let's move past the constant contrasting and enjoy the various brands and the sector of the market they are concerned with conquering.

Even with its awesome specs, after about 2 years (or even less) LG will abandon it and software updates would be pipe dream. See SGN 1, it's still stuck on Android 4.1
