I dont know how it will really be done but im pitying the stream2 already cos they actually reserved the worst place for u guys. Ok so i was at my local govt secretariat on friday when i heard a principal of a skool calling my ZI and i managed to eavesdrop (no be amebor oo, na boredom cos am) abd and i heard her telling d principal to calm down that she didnt receive any corpers cos her skool is far deep down into d village that there's another batch of corpers coming in stream2 and that shes definately sure that theyll post them there. So stream 2 corpers pray well ooo

BTW, for those dt said its only those dt studied education professionally that shld teach, u r very correct n i agree wit dt. Bt y is dt we dont wait for professional caterers only before we cook at home?
Also, if we say professional courses shld nt b posted to villages n the 'unprofessional' ones shld b sent there. Pls who really needs ur professional knowledge more? The city wer u v more than enough competing with one another or the village where its limited?

Emiarire, in as much as what you said was partly true and more of a whitish tale. i'll begin by saying that it is not everybody you tell "exercise and drink a cup of water every morning because you don't know what the person ate last night". in as much as it is a service your does not mean that my ppa will coman cut off my neck. The schools should at least create an enabling environment so that corps members posted to them would function effectively. FYI, my ppa don't pay and don't offer accommodation. so tell me, how can someone with the 19800 that gets blown away in 2weeks due to the hike in price of goods and services in the country will cope, to survive means that the person will have to add extra ppa(s) and hence making him/or less effective even in his/her primary ppa. so my sister, i'll try my possible best eh but will not kill my self because last time i checked, iyam not chief servant.

This country tho. Nysc should either be scrapped or amended. The discrimination towards engineering students is appalling, after using 5yrs+ in skool will end up teaching in this nysc scheme while other course like law and medicine are treated with respect. The officials in this nysc system has made the system so corrupt and rotten that people do all sorts to influence the posting and at the end of d day the innocent ones gets thrown to the leftovers which are usually bad and nothing to write home about. God help naija

shout out to stream 2 peepz.. una khaki done land obubra camp as @ d last day of camp. source;- story story, so naw, they stole ma cap and i got info i could get anoda one from ma platoon if i pay money to d man incharge of ma platoon so i met with d man and he told me that stream 2 kit had arrived and dat they had already added d remaining kit to dat of stream 2 and its been sealed.. soo enjoy ur chrismas plus 2nd hand kit for sale kidding,, i dash ma bucket, kit, flask etc to "water to fetch" boiz(village kids who help us wash, fetch water) so d kit and buckets u guys are gonna buy in camp are all used buh they will sell it as new.

Goin thru most of d comments, n am jst wondering y most ppl r complainin of teaching or bn posted to sch... Teachin i think, is a very noble n rewarding profession. Everything is nt always abt d money, comfort or d prestige we get frm it. That's were we nigerian youths miss it ..
I think bn a teacher esp in a remote area (were most of us actually originated frm) is actually an opportunity. U v d privilege of contributing to d future of a child n possibly transforming d life of an individual.
Am sure most of us v one or two teachers dt taught us when we wer young dt we can never forget.

Moreso, dats y its called 'service'. Before u can b an effective leader u must b ready to serve.

Would u rather sit in an office arrangin or carrying files up n down or to b in d company of children or even adults dat will b blessed by u?

Picture this.... 10 or 15 yrs frm nw u r in front a shopping mall and a man hurriedly comes down from his range(or watever car may b vogue then ) n he comes to postrate b4 u or even give a hug sayin, 'Sir, u taught me when u wer serving n u changed my life sir' I tell u no amount of money can be compared to d joy u will b feeling at dat moment.

Fulfilment in youthfulness, is all abt appreciating every moment and seizing every opportunity.
