PayPal also puts hold on fnf payment. In such cases they send a mail to the receiver. The mail is generic (for both gns and fnf) also notifying you (Sender) not to fulfill delivery till the fund is cleared. The verdict of this hold; of course you will be notified of by email in 24 hours. The fund will be approved/cleared to your account or else, it will be refunded. If you check the header of such mails; the reply to field is the personal email of the sender. Probably so you can show them (or reply) to exercise patience for payment or services fulfilment.
I am currently in such predicament but it's for $21 and I'm waiting for the outcome of the hold.

At the end, nobody really knows Paypal... PayPal is complex and complicated beyond users' reasoning!

Oga unauthorized access claim will bring back your funds. PayPal will ask for tracking information, if he can’t produce that they will ask for documents relating to nature of his business, once they no see any reasonable answer they will refund the money to the sender. Even if you specify it’s digital good they will still ask for all this info.

A gns payment confirmed, cannot be charged back. Once sender has clicked on receipt confirmation. That's final.

Hello to my fellow nairalanders. I don't understand why some so called PayPal buyers try to cheat their customers at some point in time.

I sold $100 PayPal to ammanison or msm98580, as he uses the two monikers.
This money was sent as gns, a mistake from my end as PayPal defaulted the payment.
He said he won't pay until money clears because it's pending, so I told him to refund my money, so I can resend as fnf or rather just close the gns issue case.
I begged him for almost a week to refund my money but he refused.
This guy tricked me to confirming shipping of d gns on my account which I did immediately, and the pending money cleared.
Now, he should pay me my money, he came up with stories of account limitations because PayPal complained he sent out too many dollars (how is that my concern).
After I waited for more than a week for a refund, I confirmed shipping and money got cleared, but he gave me another excuse.
He promised to pay half, after I threatened to spoil his name on nairaland, so he paid #15k. He promised to complete the payment in a week span.
Now, it's over a month, and I asked him how far about my money, and this guy is telling me to wait till January.

Please I need you guys involvement in this case!

I'm a legit hustling trader. I've sold over $10,000 PayPal funds to hayfloze without issues

I've sold over $3,000 or so to Rad8 without issues too.

I wonder why this guy, Ammanison keeps making a fool out of me.

Money2000, Since you sent as gns, and was told to send as fnf. You have most of the blame here.
Yes, at times, PayPal does default payment in a tricky way, but next time, confirm that your payment is strictly going out as fnf.

Ammanison, please in the name of credibility and respect of one's integrity, pay him his money since the PayPal cannot be refunded (due to limitation), to avoid further unnecessary calling out of names. I'm saying this because most sellers of funds on this platform are inexperienced and would always want to feel been cheated in cases like this of refunding and not paying up saga.

I've done series of dealings with ammanison and money2000 as well. And I feel this should have been settled privately without public notice!

Not everyone knows what a fake ID and statement looks like. What you know you know. I’m not here to hold anybody’s funds. The real card owner will eventually reverse the transaction (he told me the card is payoneer, look at what he sent). It’s simple. If he’s the real owner (which I doubt), he will definitely get his funds in naira. PayPal have 180 days to report/reverse a transaction. There’s nothing I can do about that
