The thing is I could get married before the year runs out, which could be some months after getting my PR God willing.
Please how soon can I sponsor my new spouse after getting married?
I am also worried about the sudden marriage status with IRCC plus she could get pregnant or have a baby during the process.

My friend had a fully funded scholarship to study in the US. He left in the third of August. Prio to this, he has other scholarships before now though he didn't process it because of finance.

Well, I don't think it might affect your chances of applying in the USA. Just try it out and I pray for success. Amen.

Let ur friend check ircc website if the school and course qualify for pgwp and if not that flag pole therory is a liar but just a marketing format by the private college and part reason some student are stranded after graduate from non- pgwp college especially in ontario .you need lmia to flagpole in that situAtion which is not easy !

She should ignore them. You can only successfully flagpole if the school is offering programs eligible for PGWP. Since they aren't, then they will be turned back at the border.

To Flagpole means to drive to a canadian border with the US and walking out of canada and back in without getting into US. It is a kind of exit and entry. Completely legal.

I have a friend in Canada that wants to attend a Private College due to the expensive fees of the public colleges. The private college officials told her she’d do ‘flag pole’ (If I heard that well), that she would be able to get a post graduate work permit this way after study.
My friend is not sure about what the Private college officials said, and concerned about her chances of getting a PGWP after completion of the study.
Please help with clarification good people.

Boss, I recently started my search for a fall (September start) masters program and I noticed most deadline was January, but some were not clear enough to me honestly. Please help with tips as to how to apply or get detailed deadline of the schools.

That is not true, what BC said is that schools that are less than 2 years will not be allowed to admit international student.

They want to safe guard against abuse of the system where, some people go and set up private colleges with the sole purpose of admitting international students but with no learning facilites on gound.

They have been dealling with cases where students spend alot of money to get to Canada only to be told by their school to study from home.
