Who is talking about the amount of trophies they have won... I am talking about youth integration, that is why we have the academy. What is the use if you cannot trust the youth players?

is not easy to give academy chance when you are competing for trophies, i think there will be alot of pressure..

Thats why chelsea have a partnership with holland club vitesse, to be sending their young players there.

The academy is not for show ,d likes of Patrick bamford ,Bertrand traore ,lucas piazon ,should be given a chance to stake dia claim in d Chelsea squad not going on loans upon loans n eventually leaving d club ,d coach should also try to give dem a chance regardless of d pressure of winning trophies for d club cos u might not know who amongst d lads would be one of d greats in d future

am not saying is not good to give an academy player a chance, most of the players you mention above actually went out o n loan first and perform before returning at the club...
Most of this big club value players that the bought with big money than their academies players...

For instant,assuming coutois theren't go out on loan,do you think he will superceed pete cech in becoming chelsea keeper.

As a manager, there is club you will get transferred to, what they care about alot is trophies and result for the fear of getting sacked,so alot of pressure will be on the manager thereby not giving their youngster at chance to perform..

So let bamford go out there and perform at the highest level as courtois did at athletico madrid, so will know if he can compete with pressure
