Hello every one please after I did the cognitive tests I got another link to repeat the cognitive test...I will like to know how many people have experienced doing the test twice...my status also changed from initial review to initial assessment

have you gotten any feedback from them after the test?

That's the browser I used the two times I did it. I clicked on finished and it said assessment completed.

However, till date, I've not gotten any response except that saying I should complete it in the next 72hrs.

seems it has been submitted..... I pray you hear back from them. they also sent me the 72 hours warning mail too...... it is well..

I haven't got a response after culture test... I got a reminder that I should do the culture test within 72 hours whereas I had already taken the test... So i just applied for Finance instead...

Have you got a response though?

hello, you are doing a nice job sir, and your thread kinda inspired me to go into agriculture ........you had issues with slugs last year, how did u eventually stop them from eating your crops?......seems there are lots of slugs in my garden too and I don't want them finish my sweat....lol..

Quite interesting. If you want some group of people to build nethouses, they should be reasonably big enough up to about to total area of 2,500sqm. You should have about 30 tons of capsicum per season. I will assist you.

To make people join you, it is necessary you show them you can buy at farm gate price of N350 per kg. This means you need vigorous marketing of your products. You are the host, and must be responsible for sales of the nethouse produce. Then, you make a schedule for your members how they work on the farm. My sister, you are on the right path if you can so this.

As for the open field, let your group buy together drip, mulch and fertigation kits. Each person is responsible for his/her slot. The good help you can do for them is to show them where to sell. If you can sell for them, buy at farm gate price, and take the products to farm too.

Just that I am not so free. Hmmm. But since this is like an open invitation, I will look at how to do it.

I have a farm in Ibadan, about 2 acres which I want to form a group to farm on.

I wish to have 3 nethouses on the farm and the rest of the land will be open field.

Is it possible to have people who share the same goals with me on the land? I am looking for a way to bring aspiring farmers who can join me. My intention is to divide the land into small sections so each farmer can cultivate his/her portion. Anyone interested in the nethouse too can join.

Please, can you help me achieve this? I need your assistance to organise it. I want to do it in a way all members of my group will have profit from it. There is good market for our vegetable.

I know from day one most people want to read procedures of farming. Lol. But you that have gone into it can easily relate to what I am sharing. Only people who have been to farms in Nigeria will understand it.

Well, I am not looking for a front page thread. In fact, front page brings unserious people. Before I started, I have a syllabus in front of me. Though, i have ammended it in a way I can dish out the content without any comment, the message can be passed excellently. Though, I preferred discussion. Well, i learned to survive as a lone ranger a long time ago. If i cannot survive this, how can I survive working alone as a farmer? Lol.

But i receive mails, and I post the questions here.

What everything is telling us is that Agriculture is far from making many people rich if we do not change. It is the truth. If you can recognise the issues in this thread, but many do not pay attention to them, then, it means that they may fail easily. Lol

In regards to people running away from group farming, this is what i have to say. They are their own worst enemy. I have been there, and it is frustrating. The main criterium is working with people of same objectives. Do not join because you want to reduce the cost of production. Do not join anyone who uses only cheap things. Find people who share your dream. People who believe in using the right technology. People who will follow the plan you set together. People who are not trouble makers. People who will return to the drawing board when things are going south, not people who will just run away when the slightest challenge occur. Some people are money driven; therefore, run away from them.

When you get such kind of people, each of you should work towards raising fund to finance his/her allocation.

I do not understand the part where you said founders rip off farmers. Could you explain further?

on regards people coming together to farm, the fact that no one is to be trusted makes people shy away from anything as regarding joint farming.....and the fact that some so called founder of such cluster groups are only looking for someone to rip off, a person that will do most of the work and then they take d lion share of other people's effort....

i pray we get it right in this country, especially in the southwest......where everyone is intricately greedy and selfish

do you think they will still invite more people for the interview? and can you say what made them select you from the others that wrote the test on the 21st?

just oral interview.... it's a start up company, pay range is 40-45k..... they want people with experience.......
