Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy said ”It’s fine, I
have had sex with 10,000 women” after allegedly raping a
woman three times in his “locked” bedroom, a court heard.
The 28-year-old French international allegedly lured the
woman into his bedroom by taking her phone and looking
through naked pictures of her. Chester Crown Court heard
how, in October 2020, Mendy and the woman had been at a
bar earlier in the evening.
Then Manchester United player Jesse Lingard was also
present, the court heard. They then went back to Mendy’s
house in Mottram St Andrew, rural Cheshire. The court heard
how the alleged victim said, in her police interview, that he
used his fingerprint to open a bedroom door and she followed
him in before asking for her phone back.

She claimed he told her to take her clothes off, telling her: “If
you just take your clothes off, I just want to have a look at you
and I won’t touch you but I just want to see what you look
like. I want to see your body. I want to see your tits, your tits
are so big.”
The woman, who stripped down to her underwear, said she
repeatedly told Mendy she did not want to have sex with him
and her friend would be looking for her but he said: “Well the
door's locked anyway.” She told police: “He threw my phone
on the bed so then I bent over to get it off the bed and he had
walked round the bed and come behind me and pushed me
onto the bed so I was on all fours.
“He was then like thrusting against me with his pants up. And
then he moved my knickers, my thong, to the side and I was
like ‘No, no, this is too much’ and he was like ‘I’m just gonna
put the tip in just for a minute’ and I was saying ‘No I don’t
want to, I don’t want to do that’.
“I sort of struggled forward and I was more laying flat rather
than having my back arched and he was saying ‘Your a**e,
your a**e it’s so nice’. After he was putting the tip in my
vagina forcefully and I was saying ‘No’ and he started to put
his penis into my bum.

“He was like ‘Oh well just put it in your mouth’ and got my
head and then I put his penis in my mouth for a minute and I
was pulling away and saying ‘No I can’t, I can’t’.
“He took a step back and I was able to sit up on the end of
the bed. He said ‘Oh you’re too shy’ and I said ‘I’m not shy, I
just don’t want to have sex with you’ and he said ‘It’s fine I’ve
had sex with 10,000 women its okay’, and I said ‘No I just
need to go’.”
The court heard how, asked by police if she knew who Mendy
was, the woman said: “What I was told was when we had got
[to the bar] is that one of these is a footballer.
"But then everyone was like calling him Ben. This other table
of guys had come next to us and there was like Jesse Lingard
who I know because my sister’s boyfriend loves. I don’t like
football. But he was there and a few others.”
Mendy denies eight counts of rape against five women, one
count of sexual assault and one count of attempted rape. The
offences are alleged to have taken place on five different
occasions at his “isolated” home in Cheshire between October
2018 and August last year.

The court heard the offences took place at Mendy’s mansion,
known as The Spinney. Prosecutor Timothy Cray QC told jurors
earlier this week that Mendy raped three women in the same
night after a pool party at the mansion. One of these women
was allegedly offered money to go to to Mendy’s house by his
friend, Louis Saha Matturie, and did not want sex but was
raped after Mendy “persisted in his demands”.
The other two women were teenagers and the prosecutor said
they fell asleep before waking up to find Mendy was raping
them.The court heard one described waking up on a sofa in
the living room with her arms being held behind her back as
Mendy said “Don’t move, don’t move.”
The court also heard Mendy, a World Cup winner with the
French national team, allegedly took two alleged victims to
rooms in his house which had “panic room-style” locks and
raped them.
Also on trial is Mendy’s friend and “fixer” Matturie, 41, who
allegedly helped find young women for Mendy and was
present at parties where women claim they were raped. Saha,
of Eccles, denies eight counts of rape and four counts of
sexual assault against eight different women - two of whom
Mendy is also accused of raping.
The trial, which is scheduled for four months, continues.

Going through various news emanating from the country all through the week today, I kept wondering where we went all wrong and when actually are we going to get it right finally as a nation?

No gainsaying, the government out there is a government that care less about the plight of its citizens. Under this administration, there has been countless unwarranted bloodsheds of Nigerians and all what this government know how to do best is to give condolences or go on a condolence visit with little or no efforts to curb the re-occurence of the incident.

I think right now, the issue of Boko Haram in the North has now become a part and parcel of this country as such these set of blood thirsty evil people now goes about undeterred most times carrying out their evil acts up till now and I don't really think any one really care how many people are been killed after these evil activities.

In the West, the issue of kidnapping, using human being as rituals sacrifices to get quick money and most recently, unprovoked attacks has now become a national syndrome. I still don't understand the motive behind the recent attack on the Catholic Church few weeks back, like, what offences has those innocent worshippers commited that warranted those evil men to open fire and cause daylight mayhem? Till date, I don't know what to explain about that incident.

In the East, youths has now fully taken matters into their own hands. Well, why won't they? If the government does not favour you, you fight for yourself, right? The spate of killing and kidnapping up East cannot just be under emphasized.

Another very sad incident that still baffle me till date is the Abuja-Kaduna train attacks where till date, victims are still been held captive and little efforts has been made by this government for their rescue..What kind of state of mine will the families of these captives be at the moment, I wonder why...

This government, is unarguably the worst ever witnessed in this country in the sense of responding to the plights of the common man. Never have I seen a government full of lies, deceit and so wicked as this current dispensation. Sometimes, I wonder how these set of leaders sleep and wake up peacefully with the way they have been coordinating the affairs of this nation. They are quick to send battalions of soldiers and policemen to curb any stage of unarmed protest and resistance from the common man but to deal with the security and general well being of the country, it becomes a burden unto to them.

I can't wait for a time when the youths and the general populace will think right for once and all, and put unto the saddle of authority, those very persons that will take this great country to where it actually belongs. We are a nation with so much resources but yet living in lacks and wants.

The time is coming very soon and I hope by that time, we won't make the same mistake we made earlier. Are we going to get it right in 2023 or still continue to wallow in abject suffering and hardship?

If I want to check my balance by dialing their code, they'll still send me messages twice after I've seen it via dialing the service code.
After I'm done subscribing to a data plan, MTN can send like three or four messages to welcome you to the data plan, like is that all necessary
Every now and then, I will keep receiving different messages like MTNNN, 50016, MTN N, 3036, MTNSHARE, 785, etc just to mention a few and I've deleted and deleted alot but they kept coming every now and then.
If to call their customer care line, that's a long thing.

Does anyone know of the code(s) to stop all these unsolicited messages because I'm really really really tired of seeing them....?
